Yeah a lot of things come into play in regards to noise level. Honestly the fans are built at the same plants as the comp. I’m hard pressed to believe AC infinity are really any better or any more quiet. AC is leading with their efforts for tech automation in this field for home grow, but let’s all realize there will be major competition coming and AC will have to constantly reinvent the wheel cause the comp is coming and it maybe better!

Do you know if the 2 cords can be extended so that I can have the controller in my hallway and place the fan unit at the other end of my house. What I'm trying to do is move air from one side of my house to the other end of my house and have the probe detect heat from my fire place and circulate hot air to the other side of my home.

It does not have a heating element, so it does not provide heat.
Gotta measure the sound at 1m away not up on the thing. 10dB is about 2.5x quieter than the other fan.
lol i was meassuring my S&P t500 fan and it read 29db directly at the fan. Those AC infinity fans seem like cheap crap. My S&P Cost also the double.
That is not how the timer works on that model, all it is is a countdown until it turns off, once.
