Appreciate that you take the time to go over products, considering Autopot for a while and ended up getting the tray2grow kit for my 2x4. The ac and heater on the other hand, good lord $699.99 they should add a built in filter to cancel out inline and giving you more light space.
Finally! Cant wait for mine to come. Ive been wanting a dehumidifier/ac thats tent specific. Only thing that sucks is i already have the heater they made. It'll kinda be useless once i have this thing going lol
unless they changed something from other simuler products heating drops the humidity more then needed i had some running last year and the humidity in my house was around 40%
@Hansen710 the AC Infinity heater dropped thr humidity but not by a lot for me. My old space heater was 10x worse with that. Their heater worked perfectly for my tent.
Man need this been trying to find a way to cool my tent even bought a 300 standing AC unit and it wouldn’t help the room get cool. The whole tent was mad had plenty of plants wilt. Had expensive clones die I was pissed! This will really help me!
I want to see more about this. can you have it as a dryer? like having it outside your tent and it sucks humidity out when it gets too humid and it blow cold sir in to the tent when the temperature gets above 60-65f for example?
Can someone tell me if I will need to run my exhaust while using this as an AC unit? One of the photos shows a two ducting set up going out a window. However, the diagram in the instructions in booklet show that the window kit comes with only one opening to vent outside.
Seems like there’s a hot and cold exhaust as well as a condenser and evaporator ducts. You’d want two ducts to the window if you are heating or cooling else you need to use lung room air. If you are cooling your lung room, you’d be throwing that cooled air ($) out the window
Really good video overall appreciate it. Consider doing some b-roll of your setup or the product when doing a screen capture just to have something in the background besides a black screen.
I LOVE AC Infinity but this is a hard pill to swallow at that price when I already have a T7 humidifier, fans, etc and then a $245 portable 13000 BTU Air Conditioner in my lung room.
@@monstermunch7083 How crowded is your tent? Maybe need to defoliate some to help. I run a dehumidifier (little one from lowes) in my tent or in the lung room if necessary. What stage are your plants in? What is the the humidity and temperature in your tent? If they are in veg, it's actually a good thing unless it causes your VPD to drop too low.
Hey dude, just found your channel. You got a new sub 👍 1200 cubic feet = 33.98m3 a 20 foot shipping container is 32.6m2. if there was a vertical garden in there might be a bit under powered. I'm interested on how this would work in a container as a lung room with tents. Ideally using VPD with out it eating power seeking to hold it at a set number and supplying CO2 enrichened primary tents in the space. How I could ghetto rig this to work in with two 3x3 tents that flow out to greens racks. The gourmet mushrooms are on a separate loop to the green house. The room also vents to the greenhouse at lights off at midday for I grow a lot of clean organic tucker in a area that doesn't get a lot of sun and gets a bit cold for plants. I have medical cannabis but the rules say we have to pay the man for it. I just like plants and horticultural development follows the money. Not bad money in herbs, microgreens, super hot chili and out of season summer crops. No hassle, less stress. I've had problems with my ACI 69 BT controller. Great bang for buck but they drop support of older gen gear and don't leave it working as it should. Just small things like not holding profile names and the like. Also their light real world numbers are very cherry picked compared to high end brands, I'd almost call BS.
Take the maximum power draw (800 watts) divide by 1000. Times that number by 24 hours a day. Times that number by your cents/kWh rating on your electric bill. That is the maximum amount of money in electricity you will spend running this unit on max for 24 hours a day. Should be in the ballpark of 1-2$ PER DAY to run this machine.
Times 1-2$ by 30days in a months and you will spend 30-60$ a month in electricity running the unit 24 hours a day (In reality it will draw less than max power all the time)
I got a gree mini split for the same price,,,it’s 18000 btu. This thing is 700$ for 8000 Btu, there’s wayyyyy better options out there than this. Don’t be an ac infinity fan boy bro.
All AC units dehumidify lol it’s still over priced for the cooling power. 700$ for 8000btu of cooling power doesn’t make any sense. A simple Amazon search will show u price difference and btu ratings.
@@420 i my experience those sort of products bring the humidity down to around 40% when heating (and that is a whole house) im not sure what they do when cooling
I don't like all in one appliances, one thing breaks and the whole thing is useless. I rather get everything separate, it will be much cheaper and easier to replace when things break. 👍
As we know, it is 800watt unit. But I'd love to know the real world consumption In KWh per day in it different modes. Not an easy data set to work out, with each of our own variables. Let use know how much you lecky reading go up by if possible.
why is there no real test video where people show the results. there are like 15 videos that all only show how they receive it and set it up, nobody shows before use and after effects. very sus
Hold up. Looking at the manual, it seems like you have to reconfigure the ducting to get the mode you want. This means you can’t select the modes in the controller. You have to deconstruct and rebuild the ducting to change from cooling to heating because the heating mode is simply the ac exhaust that normally gets ported outside. Poor design! A heat pump would be much better to reverse the temperature mode electrically in order to efficiently achieve VPD targets.
New growers don't be fooled. Everyone knows if you use a standalone unit with a single hose, you're going to vent all your CO2 out of your grow area.. your AC must be inside the tent with a hose venting into it and one venting out of it
I just don't understand The is exhausted back into the room The heat from the unit lights and other gadgets That heat needs to be exhausted out the environment
yea your gonna get the the people that say 'you get alot for the price though' yea f that........they should just of made it strictly an ac unit that could work with the uis system and charge like $200 max..........
Fuck no it wouldn’t, a proper “professional” 10x10 setup would completely cost what, $4k at most $5k for top of line equipment? You’d see the initial investment back after the first harvest 🤦🏼♂️ sure if you don’t have the upfront money I understand going outdoor but I’d rather control my environment and conditions with the investment
Ill wait for the next model that can run 2 tents .... or something that will work without ending to put it to your window. They need to make a mini split. Be creative yall i already have something like that i got off Amazon.

Completely agree. A little portable Air Conditioner/de-humidifier/heater that has substantial more BTU is WAY cheaper to put in your grow room.
