  • Montfort has always had a awesome color scheme, but black and white is surprisingly difficult to paint. This guide walks you through applying modern painting techniques to these Oldhammer Bretonnian models for a great and quick result.       So it’s called zenathal priming. If you want to search for a video on it. I haven’t made one. But maybe someday.
      First I prime the whole model black.
      Then I do a layer of grey seer angled down 45 degrees so some level of black remains beneath. Then I do only last pass of a primer with an off white from above which will leave some grey and then black in the recesses. Finally I do a dry brush of white in the raised areas before painting.
