Hey for painting, what putty and what stand are you using? That looks really nice to work with. And do you superglue the models together once done, given that its painted over? I'm putting together my armies now and want to paint the shields separately as well.

Morning,what you have to remember is that you can rescale Monstrous Encounters Miniatures to any scale you want as I do,and they are a lot cheaper then games workshop.All the best.Randolph.

The 32MM definitely looks closer to the GW miniature. I liked the Monstrous Encounters horses a whole lot better then GW's.

The damsel/lady sculpts are still absolute trash! I swear GW has never seen a woman before.

So would you recommend 32mm? Is 28mm too small?

OK, it's now clear to me that I need my Highland models in 28mm scale to match perfectly with GW ones.

Since GW won't allow you to use the minis in official events, why buy GW in the first place?

Beautiful & elegant, a good idea could be that GW could make a sprue of great helms without any ornaments, so it's possible add a scratchbuild one.

Imagine if GW made a handful of new sprues of just different helmet options for these knights like they did the Cadians troopers box.

For a trebuchet you could use the Middle earth one. Also has the bonus of being GW so you should be able to use it in a GW tourny.

Would it have not made more sense to print the Highland mini at 28mm? I mean of course it's going to be bigger in this as it's a totally different scale.

Isn't there an option with Highland Miniatures to have the figure in 28mm? It would be interesting comparing both the 28mm figures

Regretting ordering the GW one now, unless they have increased the scale (I expect not) it really looks tiny

I print all Highlands are 88%, except knights at 94%

The Highlands one actually looks like it could throw a rock a reasonable distance

That is freakin’ huge! 😱 Pretty cool that it’s in the midst of firing though. Maybe printing it in 28mm brings it more in line with GW sizing?
