Just want to give a big thanks Walton Guerrero for fixing my truck. i owe a ram 1500 stl yr 2011. I towed my ram to the dealership and wanted to charge me $800 to fix the win module and fob key with programing, labor,parts. Saw Mr. Guerrero youtube clips, called him up. He said, told me send him the parts and bam! Charge me $350 flat, and i appreciated his time and communication. 2011 ram 1500 oem factory pod key. Can i install a new win module and put the fob key and program it even tho is not power lock? In understand it will not lock or unlock, but just start the vehicle.
Worked for me didn't even have to take it apart just cleaned any area on the front and back of the board with a q tip and alcohol and it's easy to crank now,we'll see if it doesn't die anymore on the Hwy
My RAM has never turned off while driving, but I can take the fobik or key out while I'm driving with no changes. It just comes straight out leaving the ignition in the same position. It also doesn't start sometimes, but I learned if I just hold the fobik or key in start, like hold against the spring, it will eventually start, sometimes 2 mins I have to hold it. It's taken me years to figure it out, I'm still not sure.???? I have settled on it being the fuel pump swing arm being sticky. IDK????

Im having issues with the keyfob not responding all the time with the lock and unlock buttons. I changed battery twice. And still no luck. Truck will start. Also bought a new keyfob. Had it programed. It worked all day. Then at night the buttons would not respond. And truck would not start. Kept saying damaged key. Would the win module be the issue
my son has 2011 Dodge grand caravan he had driven to store came back out and vehicle had a no start. You can turn the key and all dash lights up with now a blinking dot which i believe is security light and all it does is click at relays, i tried resetting the alarm system at drivers door and also took cables from battery and connected together for 2 hours draining system and still the same light won't go off i went to start relay and jumped pin 30 &87 and starter turns over. So does this sound like a win 4 problem?????
@@JHagelstein there's a fuse that sends power to the data link connector. If you give me more info engine liter size and trim of van sle or something like that, it usually says it on the badges attached to the vehicle. I'll look in my wiring diagrams and tell you which fuses to check. It sounds like your just losing power to the dlc and maybe the instrument cluster and ignition need to communicate before it allows the van to start for theft reasons. Like my comment if you reply, otherwise i won't know you replied.

I have an 2007 dodge ram 3500 6.7 diesel 300,000 miles use every day in new jersey if it rains or misty after rain sometimes it won't start and i have to either keep trying to get it to start it will either click and do nothing once than start or just make a chatter like dead batteries sound and either start or not. si, los dos problemas son problemas internos del WIN modulo. te puedo enviar un nuevo con 2 llaves nuevas por $500 + $60 por envio. es tan simple como sacar el modulo viejo y reemplazarlo por el nuevo.

No they don't I just got mine for 205 bucks the win without remote start cost around 400 I used alpha obd for 49 bucks and programed the win and two new keys for a total of 300 bucks. Don't waste your time taking it apart most people that do get the key still in the ignition message cause they bent the tabs

It can be the WIN or the PCM. If you can use a scan and see what DTC codes you are getting. Let us know thru text 2109205819
