Thanks for a wonderful series. Your channel is so much more interesting for the average golfer than the countless TH-cam swing "experts" who have screwed up my swing with instruction tips that never carry over to the course. Thanks again.
I'm always excited to see other people loving the Zips. I didn't get a shout out but I don't think anyone was talking about zips before me. I suggested it back in July of 2021 on the What's to Come Video and then again on the Wilson Staff Model R video. Everyone use to tease me about using a Wilson ball and now everyone that follows the channel loves them. I'm stoked to see how much your channel has grown in the last few years and that it appears to be including golf tech too. (I tagged you in a takamo post a couple years ago and told them they should send you stuff to test but I don't think they ever did.) I think in a couple of years, you'll probably be able to get irons and drivers to test on the channel for free. We are all pulling for you keep up the great work!
I believe that 100%. I think you've been a follower of the channel pretty much since it came out. Always appreciate that. I can't wait to start testing other ventures. I wish that the club testing would have worked out from a couple years ago but it just didn't mesh with the time unfortunately. What's weird is I'm still having trouble even getting golf ball companies to send me stuff. You would think they'd want the free advertising
Thank you so much for your kind words. I'm super excited also to get some new reviews for the 2024 season. There's a lot of really cool golf balls coming out
Awesome series, thanks for putting this all together! Would be really awesome if there was a text list that we could look at somewhere though. It would make it a lot easier to see where the different balls are ranked! Thanks again for all the hard work
Hi Nick, woke up here in Thailand, kettle on for a cup of tea, turned the phone on and sat down . Looked at the phone and here it is, the top 10. Happy to see the Inesis at number 9, without your tests, many people would still not know about this ball. Some of the big boys are there, Callaway, Wilson , mixed with some lesser known brands. Sugar golf ball at number 1,WOW. I did not see that coming, congratulations to them. This year will be very interesting for your reviews. The larger your community grows, the more interesting the reviews will become. Thanks for all the hard work you put in to do these reviews. Your work and dedication is appreciated by this Englishman in Thailand. Keep up the great work Nick.
Great countdown Nick, and very well presented. Thanks for your time and effort. Keep producing and I'll keep watching. I never even heard of the Sugar brand. I hope the zip remains available for it's loyal followers. Nice hat by the way, much better than last time!
I can't believe The Zip, my ball, finished runner-up. I'm glad to know my results this year wasn't a hallucination. I am disappointed to learn Wilson is going to discontinue The Zip. Thanks for your video Nick!
Anytime my friend. Thank you for watching and commenting. The Wilson zip is an incredible golf ball and it's loved by many. The good news is, I don't know exactly if it's still being discontinued. We were told this a year ago but there's still plenty of golf balls for sale and all the Walmarts and stuff. Kind of strange, so I'm still trying to figure out exactly what's going on.
Nice job, Nick! Thank you. The 3 golf balls I use were in the top 10, so I feel I’m on the right track. Sugar was a surprise! I may have to order a cube of those. Keep up the great work!
Thank you very much. The idea of 50,000 almost feels like a pipe dream but I know it's possible due to the amazing followers I have. You guys are the best
@@GolfBallAddict You’re welcome. I love finding channels like yours where creators are clearly so passionate about their content. Would love you to review Seed golf balls one day. 👍🏻
Thank you for all the testing you have been doing over the past for years. Cheers, love the vids. It would be nice if there was a list of the rankings without having to go back and re-watch every video.
Thanks for the shout out on the Callaway Superfast. I knew it had really tested well for you and you seemed to frequently forget about it or overlook it. Ironically, I overlook and forget about it too. I have a lot of boxes of full dozens and partial dozens in my basement and I have never purchased the Callaway Superfast. Lately, I got seduced by blowout pricing on Titleist TruFeel and Velocity dozens at Walmart a couple of months ago for $8.50 and $9.50. Who passes on that? Maybe someday I will find a like new, pearl condition Superfast and give it a thorough testing! I think I missed where the Cut Red finished? Was I dozing off during this video? I don’t remember seeing it in the 19-11 video, but it has been a while since I watched that one. You really made us wait for this 10 - #1 video, but it was worth the wait. Congratulations on a great video tonight, and all the super videos you have made over the last few years. I’m looking forward to your future vids. Thanks.
Thank you so much for always loyally watching scott. It's pretty easy to tell when you have a fellow golf ball addict and your midst. And you definitely fit that bill. 😃 The cut red finished 18th.
😢Loved the series Nick but the Sugar ball works out at nearly $3 a ball here in the UK where as the Zip is only a £1 a ball so no contest if I use a ball that has cost me more than a pound I just get nervous
Different types of ball though. You can't really compare an ionomer ball to a urethane cover. I play the zip in winter and a urethane ball in the summer when I need more spin
Great ending to the top 100, although I'm a bit surprised by the top 5 (except for the Zip, I knew it would be top 3). I look forward to what this year brings for more golf ball reviews.
I started using the Wilson's zip Per your recommendation and I love it. The only thing is I went to get at Walmart last week the price went up to 39.95 . So I looked them up on line Target sales them at 29.95 . I have been so impressed with this ball it holds the greens for me good distance On my drives and second shoot . I do hope they keep making it. GREAT CHANNEL 🎉
Saw the Zips at Walmart the other day and they were $30 in the St. Louis area. And I scooped up some on Amazon for $25 before they went to $30 a few days ago.
Hi GBA. I recently tried the Callaway Superfast Bold Yellow that you put in the top 3 when you ranked 100 and had the best hitting day of the year for me by far. Being in a scramble and paying with two guys five years my junior, I was thrilled to have my tee ball used on the last 5 holes straight, which was also the flight of the ball. Under $30 for 15, durable, and the color makes it easier to follow than any ball I have ever played.
That's awesome. It was honestly a dark horse when it came up. I had a specific subscriber who kept telling me that it was a lot better than I was giving it credit for. Then I go to do the top 100 list and I go back and watch the review and it's incredible. I don't know why I'd forgotten it was so great, but it definitely crept up and it's an amazing ball for the price
Great ending to a great series. I knew the ZIP would be up there, but it may have been discontinued. I don’t see it on Wilson’s website but it’s still sold on amazon.
Thank you so much for this list Nick! I somehow predicted the Sugar ball to be #1, maybe a lucky guess, but I’m so glad to see it in the top spot! Can’t wait for the new data to roll in, keep doing what you’re doing - no one else has your passion!!
I CALLLED IT - I feel like I should get a prize or something - MY BALL WON!!!! I thank you for this channel cuz I would have NEVER known about this ball!! This is no lie I have shaved so many strokes with this ball!! My fav ball was TP5 but because it CHECKS on greens - I no longer need the TP5. - THIS BALL IS 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Fun and informative watch. As a value shopper I focused on the Superfast, Laddie and Zip and was disappointed to find that none of these are manufactured anymore. As far as I can tell it's been several years since some of these were produced. So my question; how old can a golf ball be and still be worth playing? Apologies if this has already been discussed.
As long as they are still available for purchase I have no problem recommending them to people. You can still get the Wilson zip on Amazon and the precept laddie I believe is still available on bridgestone's website
I have always had a wide mixture of balls in my bag. Some new, some found on the course. Watching your reviews has taught me that the balls matter. I am cleaning out my bag and have ordered the Wilson Zip and the Sugar G1. I am going to search for the ball that fits my game the best and then play that ball going forward. Thanks!
GREAT countdown!!!! It is sad to see that two of the top 10 balls may no longer be on the market and I have loved playing the Zip based on your recommendation. But when I splurge it's definitely for the Vice Pro, drip version, which now I need to check my local Walmart for that price.
Great series. Awesome to see reviews for normal golfers. The Taylormade Ink could be a contender in 2024. Good value, style and is getting some decent reviews. Would love to see you test it.
There's very few people I've seen say anything bad about that golf ball. Some people will say that it's just decent but the majority of people are blown away by the performance considering the price point
So how much do you think these numbers would change for a fast swing golfer? If i actually catch the center of the face I can get close to 300y with the driver. I also don't play that often so tend to lose a lot and like the $1/ball price point. Awesome video! Just ordered the zip to try out.
It depends on your swing speed. It sounds like you could be in the 110 mph range. That would drastically change how the numbers affect with each golf ball. You definitely want something a little firmer.
I can't seem to find a shut off valve for my small string trimmer I don't think they make 'Em that small what I've been doing. He's just dumping out all the gas back into a storage container and then running the trimmer until the engine dies it seems to work
2 balls l play were at number 10 and number 6. Sugar golf balls.....what never heard of them before. The price is 27 balls for AUD 110. So which factory is sugar made in???
I don't know how that money translates to dollars. So I don't know if that's more expensive or not. Honestly I'm not sure what factory they come out I might have to look into it.

Really enjoyed the Top 100 List! Lots of balls I still need to check out. Hopefully in the near future you test the Wilson Smartcore. I’ve commented before on it and look forward to your review!
Can do. Thankfully because of all my amazing subscribers and watchers the channel continues to grow and I'm able to do more with it. The the reviews are coming full force 😁
Great series. Just started my golf adventure and choosing a golf ball can be a stupid expensive mistake. I am a nerd and love data so do you have a speedsheet with the matrix used?
Great golf ball list...very interesting. I've played the Callaway Chrome Soft and Srixon Q Star Tour recently but I keep going back to the Bridgestone E12 Contact which did TERRIBLE in your review. Not sure if it's because I use game improvement irons and driver (Srixon ZX4's and Callaway Paradym X) but I score 5-6 stroke better with the E12. Going to order the Wilson Zip that #2 on your list and give them a try. THANKS!!
Please let me know how you like them. I also use game improvement irons and I have the same results. Sometimes it also just depends on your swing. Please let me know how you like the zips though
the 2024 balls in every ball have alot of improvements with tour balls also the new 2024 AVX is awesome / TP5 also is softer too look forward to the 2024 reviews of the 2024 golf balls also looking forward to your review on Taylormade speedsoft Ink balls
So I start my season today in RI with Wilson Zip, Snell Getsum and Pinnacle Extreme in the bag. As a 73 year old with a 75 swing speed, hoping for interesting results with the different compressions. Thanks again,
Great content tons of info. Did Callaway warbird make the list or did I miss it? I have a slow swing speed and shoot in the 90s what ball would you recommend?
That's why I love the Chrome soft so much. The low compression gives it a lot of feel and forgiveness for slower swingers but still allows us to play a tour ball.
Really wonderful information! Very interesting that you're wearing a Mizuno hat! I really love the Runbird 88, which I play with both my regular sets ('71 Top Flites, 2005 Mizunos) and my hickory shafted clubs, with which I play about 50% of the time. Also, as a history teacher and golf history buff, I love the Penfold Hearts (skip the 007 stuff). I also love the Macintyre JH Taylors, which are re-covered Wilson Duos, and also the Wright & Ditson retro mesh dimpled design. I caddied from 1965 allthe way through high school, college, and graduate school and found thousands of balls. My favorite back the was the Spalding Dot. What a shame that whoever bought Spalding ran it into the ground. Their irons were much better chromed than both Wilson and Macgregor.
This is a lot to ask, but any chance you can publish the Top 100 in text format? It would make it a lot easier to reference vs going through 10 videos trying to remember the balls I find on the course or see a sale on.
This will be done in the next couple days. I've had many requests for it so I have no problem printing it. I think I'll probably do it in a website format
I would choose the Wilson zip, I mean they are two totally different types of golf balls. But with the Wilson zip being discontinued, the pro will live on.
Great job with the Top 100. Really enjoyed the vids. Picked up a few good suggestions I plan on trying. I see myself as and average golfer with an above average swing speed (110-115). What would be your top suggestions for fast swing speeds, as I am a bit concerned with over compressing.
I am currently an 8 hcp. But I would say that's because I play the right course. If I were to play random corse, I'd prob be closer to 12 hcp. I use arccos, and my approach (15 hcp) and short game (12 hcp)are my weaknesses, with tee shots (2 hcp) and putting (0 hcp) being my strength
New to your channel. Love everything you’ve done with this series. Some of the most solid and straightforward expertise I’ve seen, and simultaneously entertaining. Subscribing and looking forward to more.
Just bought some Wilson zip balls to try out. I’m a little worried about the spin and the ball checking on the green. Can anyone attest to how it performs hitting the green and for green side chipping?
Honestly it's not as big of the deals people make it anymore. The technology has increased so much that even two-piece golf balls are spending pretty close to others. The urethane coating will definitely be a learning curve but you still shouldn't have many issues
Did I hear you say that you store golf balls in the garage? My understanding is that there are temperature issues, both hot and cold, with garage storage. But anyhooo, GREAT SERIES 😊😊😊
very well done, some surprising results. I like the Wilson Zip I saw a review for the Wilson profile ball. I was wondering if you know anything about them. are they the zip with a different name? price is similar, I've tried them and they play similar to the zip. Do you have any info?
Discovered your channel a couple of years ago. Useful information for the most part while also entertaining. Believe it was thru your channel that I became acquainted with Vice and motivated me to try. All I play anymore is the Vice Pro and Vice Pro Soft. As you know they are slightly different but not sure which I like the best. What has really sealed the deal for me is that I live in the greater Orlando area and last December, one of the local Sam Club's had the 2019 Vice Pro 24 pack on sale for $28. At $14/dz, nothing is even close to the value and performance of this ball. Thanks for the time and effort you put into your videos.
I am a golf ball addict and play the Brigstone Tour BX. For me it is the longest and straightest ball. Will all other balls I loose 2-3 per round. With this Brigstone box I loose 1 ball every 2 rounds. I can find them for $35/box so a great value for me. My swing speed is only 90 but best performance from a tour level ball.
Idk you by name, but I feel like we’ve become family over the past few years. Always look forward to watching your videos, they’ve always been a good point of reference for when I want to give a new ball a try. We appreciate your efforts and are excited for what’s to come with that new launch monitor 👀
Thank you so much for this comment. It definitely means a lot to me. Thank you so much for being part of the golf ball addict community. I can't wait to bring you guys even more data and metrics in 2024
It's a good golf ball. I wouldn't call it ground breaking and the numbers don't jump off the page. But I gain yardages consistently and the feel is pretty decent. It's definitely something I recommend but it just doesn't wow me like a lot of other golf balls in the two-piece market
I have a higher swing speed and a high handicap as well. What speed does a person need to hit a harder ball? What are signs of "over" compression if that is a thing?
This is a great question. Depending on your swing speed, when you start playing golf balls that have a 40, 50, maybe even 60 compression. You'll start to lose distance with the driver. A lot of the time you will feel it when you swing and make contact with the golf ball. If the golf ball feels extremely dead and you notice a loss in distance, then that's most likely the case. However there are plenty of two-piece golf balls that are in the higher compression range. For example, the Callaway warbird, the noodle, vice drive etc
@GolfBallAddict I've been playing pro v1x for the last few years and assumed I was paying for the best ball. Ordered Wilson zip and a sugar cube last night looking for forgiveness described in this video. My driver swing speed is around 115 but have not been on a monitor in a few years. Thanks for the response and top quality content.
Thank you so much. Because of you there are so many balls I want to try. I really hope I like the callaway superfast but now I need to order a sugar cube too 😅
Hi Nik. Really great guide for all golfers! Unfortunately not all top notch golf balls are available in Europe, I'd love to test the Sugar G1 myself. One major Ball I'm missing out though or I'm not able to find the review for, which is broadly considered one of the best 2P balls on the market: the Srixon AD333. Srixon just recently brought out it's 11th generation.
Okay: I tried the superfast today in the sim, and WOW! I was getting 20+ additional yards and had several tee shots at 24-250 carry, which is really good for me. This ball feels great off the club as well; it's a winner and will be in my bag. Also: 29.99 for 15; can't beat that with a stick!
Yeah It definitely was a sneaky performance in my book. I remember it being decent, but after going back and looking at the numbers it was an easy placement in the top three.
Zip is being discontinued so I would stay away. Triad is a good golf ball I just don't like the forgiveness and really low launch. I would maybe try a Vice Air or Legato.
Was bit surprised that Inesis Tour 900 is your top 10 but not too surprised ($29 in Thailand Decathlon including VAT). Inesis Soft 500 ($15/dozen with 4-5 color options) performs really well for the price too. It's a surlyn cover so cannot expect super zip with wedges but you should review next time. It may be close to Laddie Extreme.
Great question. Here is a gist: Ball is tested with 9 iron, 7 iron, 5 hybrid, and driver. 54 degree sand wedge for 50 yard pitches. Each club is hit 15 times. Any Miss hits that are highly noticeable or UN playable are removed. Mis hits are pretty noticable. Anytime I have one, I make a note of how bad the Miss hit was and how much average distance was lost. To answer the last part of your question, even on days where I have bad days, it might mean I have to delete a couple more shots but it never means there isn't enough for a sample size of testing. On a great day, it's common for me to keep all 15 shots or only delete one or two. There are some times I have a bad series and I end up deleting six or seven. But it still believe 7-or 8 good shots for Data
Just found your channel and really appreciate all the work and real world testing. As someone who swings a bit faster, would the Sugar still be a good fit for me to try? Or would I be better off with like a Snell or Vice? (Driver cruises around 105mph)
So I would definitely give the brand new 2024 vice Pro Plus a try only because the numbers were so amazing. To answer the other question, I think the sugar golf ball is still worth a try if you can get your hands on one. They also make an additional model called the G2 pure which I have not had a chance to test yet but I think it's for a little bit faster swingers. Also, thank you so much for the positive feedback. It means the world to me 😁
Great video! Since I loose a lot of golf balls I bought some Ram Laser Spin. They were 36 for $30 and I’m getting pretty good distance on them. They are low compression which is good for me since I’ve only been golfing about a year. I’ll try the Wilson Zip and a couple other recommendations to see how I like them.
Thanks for this review list. Additionally thank you for not rolling over and buying into the Titleist hype…their products have great consistency but so many ‘sheep’ are lazy and don’t bother checking out other products. I have been a Wilson fan and glad you recognized their complete line. I think I need to give Vice a try? As far as your #1….buying a pod of golf balls is a no go for me. Keep up the good work.
The vice line is definitely worth trying. They do so much right. Love Wilson balls. They have a variety for every golfer. I get so tired of the Titleist hype. I have to see it every day at work lol
I've used the Wilson Zip for years, it is my go to ball after the weather turns colder. Several pro-level players use this ball for practice due to the similar feel to the Pro V1.
Really good series thank you for putting the time in! I didn't see the Srixon AD333 which people over here in the UK rave about ... do you guys have that in America? Or Have I just missed it?
It is available for me to order on amazon. It's almost impossible for me to find it at any stores though. You are not the first person to tell me how amazing that golf ball is. I've had a bunch of requests for reviews and I think it's time I just need to do it. I'll definitely check it out soon 😃
Just had a look on Dunlop US site - q star (2 piece) and q star tour (3 piece) are both available- no AD333. Dunlop euro site - no Q star but Q Star Tour is available. The AD333 is available, so ut does appear that the AD333 is the european version of the 2 piece Q Star
PS, I subscribed to your channel because I found you interesting and somewhat scientific (a trained statistician here). If value is one of your 7, it seems that the Zip should have won hands down?
No definitely not. It's better. But not by that much. To answer your other question. Although the value on the zip is better, the performance and design are better on the sugar
The cut red ended up 18th. I really wanted to be higher, but after the last couple years of having some durability issues that popped up after the review I posted, I had to dock it a little bit on its durability score. That pushed it down that far.
ok +15 Handicap mid to slow swing using refurbished ProVs because they stop on the green. I ordered Sugar and Wiz. Going to see if this makes a difference.
At the moment it doesn't look like we can. I don't know if they're planning on shipping back to the US yet or not. I will email them and see if I can get a response
This series was a blast. I really appreciate the hours of work you put into this. Congratulations....

I have just binged the whole top 100 this morning. So glad I have found this channel. Great work and so pleased Vice is in the top 10!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Thank you so much for doing that. I appreciate you taking the time to not only watch all those videos, but comment your feedback as well.
😃
@@GolfBallAddict You’re welcome. I love finding channels like yours where creators are clearly so passionate about their content.
Would love you to review Seed golf balls one day. 👍🏻
Thank you for all the testing you have been doing over the past for years. Cheers, love the vids. It would be nice if there was a list of the rankings without having to go back and re-watch every video.
The list will be dropping in a couple days.
great series. thanks so much!! for the lesser-known balls, it would be helpful if you included where to buy them, retail or online.
I can definitely do that this year. Thanks for the heads up and the tip 😁
Good stuff! I have played most of the ten! Looking forward to new reviews with your new launch monitor! Thanks
Not a problem. Thank you so much for watching the series and making it so successful.
The cut red finished 18th.
New subscriber...really appreciate what you do here.
😢Loved the series Nick but the Sugar ball works out at nearly $3 a ball here in the UK where as the Zip is only a £1 a ball so no contest if I use a ball that has cost me more than a pound I just get nervous
Nothing wrong with being the number two spot on a list of 100. Nothing wrong with continuing to play the zip as long as they keep shipping it out LOL
Different types of ball though. You can't really compare an ionomer ball to a urethane cover. I play the zip in winter and a urethane ball in the summer when I need more spin
Loved your 100 review hopefully will see srixon marathon soft next year great job x
You will definitely see it
Nice work, a culmination of a lifelong passion
Great wholesome message. Thank you so much. I really appreciate it. It's slowly has become my life's work 😃💯
Great ending to the top 100, although I'm a bit surprised by the top 5 (except for the Zip, I knew it would be top 3). I look forward to what this year brings for more golf ball reviews.
Thank you for watching. I am also excited for 2024. The content is about to start flowing pretty heavy
Bridgestone precept laddy x is my new go to because of you thank you for everything you do great work
Anytime friend. Thank you so much for watching and commenting 😃
I've heard that people have seen price increases. I'm not sure exactly what's going on but I'm going to get to the bottom of it
Saw the Zips at Walmart the other day and they were $30 in the St.
Saw it on the Wilson website yesterday. Their website is kind of a mess. And Zips are now $30. Still a steal, obviously.
Thank you so much for this list Nick! I somehow predicted the Sugar ball to be #1, maybe a lucky guess, but I’m so glad to see it in the top spot!
Can’t wait for the new data to roll in, keep doing what you’re doing - no one else has your passion!!
Thank you very much for the kind words and for making this list so successful. That was a heck of a guess.
- THIS BALL IS 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I do remember you were the first one to guess it correctly. Awesome job! I'm so glad you enjoy the golf ball as well.
@@GolfBallAddicthave you seen they have a sugar s2x. The updated version
Which Ball? Tks SalP
But did you have a big crowd?
Golf ball reviews, you listen to Kendrick, you watch Anime. You got my subscription good sir! Keep up the amazing work 👏🏼
LOL thank you so much. I definitely have a variety of taste 😁
Great series, really enjoyed the reviews. Happy with the Q Star Tour making the top 6 👍🏻👌🏻
Thank you very much. It's one of my favorites!
great ball foresure. Lets not count out Kirkland 2>>
Thanks!
Please let me know how you like them. Always love feedback😃
GREAT countdown!!!! It is sad to see that two of the top 10 balls may no longer be on the market and I have loved playing the Zip based on your recommendation.
But when I splurge it's definitely for the Vice Pro, drip version, which now I need to check my local Walmart for that price.
Thank you very much for your kind words. 😊
Great series. Awesome to see reviews for normal golfers. The Taylormade Ink could be a contender in 2024. Good value, style and is getting some decent reviews.
Would love to see you test it.
It'll be the first one tested with a new launch monitor. So it's coming very soon. Thank you so much for watching! :-)
commenting for the algorithm, good stuff dude this is wonderful for people who dont want to wander the internet
I appreciate those kind words. Thank you so much.
Wow… Wilson Zip! I play the Wilson Staff duo but always thought the Zips were throw aways. I’m gonna check em out!
He's just dumping out all the gas back into a storage container and then running the trimmer until the engine dies it seems to work
Great series thank you!
No problem. Thank you so much for watching

I'm hoping that smartcore will be an adequate option if they discontinue the zip. I definitely can't wait to review it.
I've been watching your channel and absolutely love your reviews and data. I love trying out new golf balls. Keep the reviews coming.
Can do. Thankfully because of all my amazing subscribers and watchers the channel continues to grow and I'm able to do more with it. The the reviews are coming full force 😁
Very enjoyable video! Is the sugar golf ball suitable for slower swing speeds? Thanks!
Depends on how slow. Anything 85 mph or greater would be good
Great series. Just started my golf adventure and choosing a golf ball can be a stupid expensive mistake. I am a nerd and love data so do you have a speedsheet with the matrix used?
I do have a sheet. I don't release it though. I might one day but I'm still building data
Thank you very much. I appreciate you watching!
So I start my season today in RI with Wilson Zip, Snell Getsum and Pinnacle Extreme in the bag. As a 73 year old with a 75 swing speed, hoping for interesting results with the different compressions. Thanks again,
Please let me know what you think once you've accumulated some decent feel with each ball. I'd love to know what your thoughts are
Great content tons of info. Did Callaway warbird make the list or did I miss it? I have a slow swing speed and shoot in the 90s what ball would you recommend?
I reviewed it after this list. I would recommend a forgiving 2 piece lower compression. Wilson Zip, Pinnacle rush or soft, Maxfli etc.
Did I miss your ranking for the Vice Pro Air? You seemed to love it, but I couldn't find its ranking.
Pro air didn't exist last year. New 2024 ball
Love the Callaway Chrome Soft ball. I'm an average swing of 88 - 92 mph and can really feel this ball compress when struck right.
Thank you very much for sharing that information. I didn't know a lot of that. I do like the retro mesh dimple design as well.
If you had to chose between the Vice pro or the Wilson Zip which one would it be?
I would choose the Wilson zip, I mean they are two totally different types of golf balls. But with the Wilson zip being discontinued, the pro will live on.
@@GolfBallAddict anything comparable to the Zip since it’s discontinued?
Great job with the Top 100. Really enjoyed the vids. Picked up a few good suggestions I plan on trying. I see myself as and average golfer with an above average swing speed (110-115). What would be your top suggestions for fast swing speeds, as I am a bit concerned with over compressing.
That's understandable with that swing speed. Do you know your handicap? What would you say your weakest part of your game is?
I am currently an 8 hcp. But I would say that's because I play the right course. If I were to play random corse, I'd prob be closer to 12 hcp. I use arccos, and my approach (15 hcp) and short game (12 hcp)are my weaknesses, with tee shots (2 hcp) and putting (0 hcp) being my strength
New to your channel. Love everything you’ve done with this series. Some of the most solid and straightforward expertise I’ve seen, and simultaneously entertaining. Subscribing and looking forward to more.
Thank you very much for your kind words. We're glad to have you on the channel! :-)
Awesome series! Was really hoping to see the Callaway Hex Soft but maybe for a future video.
I just picked up a couple today. Gonna review them in a week or so
Just bought some Wilson zip balls to try out.
You are not wrong, extreme temperatures will mess with a golf balls compression. In Florida it's not a huge issue though
very well done, some surprising results. I like the Wilson Zip I saw a review for the Wilson profile ball. I was wondering if you know anything about them. are they the zip with a different name? price is similar, I've tried them and they play similar to the zip. Do you have any info?
I don't have much info right now. I'm looking into it for sure. Will know more in a couple months
Yeah that deal is incredible. I am currently working on Vice week right now. So be on the lookout for those. Thank you so much for your kind words!
Nice! I found that a lot of people really enjoy the Bridgestone golf balls. They have a very good following
I can't wait to bring you guys even more data and metrics in 2024
How do you feel about the bridgestone e6 ball
Great suff. Would love to see a top 5 for slower swingers like junior girls. Thanks!
Thank you very much. I promise this is coming. I have some reviews coming out soon and then I'll be able to make a top five
Thank you so much. Because of you there are so many balls I want to try. I really hope I like the callaway superfast but now I need to order a sugar cube too 😅
Thank you very much. I appreciate the love
I will get that tested then. Sometimes I forget that Europe doesn't have as many options
Glad to see that my Laddie made top 10!! At a 5, I’ll take it any day!
Top 5 is quite the achievement.
What ball is better to try, Wilson Zip or Triad? I am a 9 handicap, mid swing speed
Zip is being discontinued so I would stay away. Triad is a good golf ball I just don't like the forgiveness and really low launch. I would maybe try a Vice Air or Legato.
Glad my wilson zip and Snell mtb prime scored well. I may experiment with the some of your other 10 ten. Curious about the vice ball.
All of the top ten are worth a try at least. If you find one, give it a try 🙂
Nice I’ve been playing sugar for about 4years and love them. Was super surprised when I first got them.
That's awesome. It's people like you that kept the company going and is allowing them to make improvements. Great job sir!
I definitely want to try all of the inesis balls. Just haven't gotten to yet
Did you try oncore golf balls would like to see where they end up in the line up
I sure did. Most were in the top 30. I like oncore alot
How do you test golf balls? How do you tell if a mis hit is 1 or 2 yards short? If you're having a bad golf day, are the balls that you test all bad?
Great question. Here is a gist:
Ball is tested with 9 iron, 7 iron, 5 hybrid, and driver.
It means the world to me 😁
@@GolfBallAddict Thank you!!
I will have to look into these golf balls and see if they are worth reviewing. I have not heard of them so far so thanks for the heads up
Thanks for this review list.
It's an amazing ball. I hope they continue to make it
What are your thoughts on the Vice Golf Pro Air golf balls?
I ordered the entire new vice line about a week ago. As soon as they come in we'll have a nice week 2.0
@GolfBallAddict I read somewhere that the AD333 is just the European version of the Q Star. That is likely to be the reason you can't find in stores
@@DR-uc4bj ah strange because we have the Q Star here too
Just had a look on Dunlop US site - q star (2 piece) and q star tour (3 piece) are both available- no AD333.
Dunlop euro site - no Q star but Q Star Tour is available. The AD333 is available, so ut does appear that the AD333 is the european version of the 2 piece Q Star
@@DR-uc4bj ah thank you mate, know the compression rate on the 2 piece Q star?
Is the Sugar 2.5 times better than the Zip? That is a lot for a bogie golfer like me.
So, you wore a “Cut”hat and I think you talked about the Cut(presumably red) but did you and did you rate it? Thanks.
The cut red ended up 18th. I really wanted to be higher, but after the last couple years of having some durability issues that popped up after the review I posted, I had to dock it a little bit on its durability score. That pushed it down that far.
where can u find the 3 packs? Didnt want to invest $70 until I knew would work for me.
Go to sugar golfs website, and under the balls section there should be a free trial pack
Is there a complete list posted somewhere? Also, did you ever get to try the rzn balls or did I miss the video?
It's coming very soon
The video hasn't been posted yet. I've had some trouble reviewing the rzn balls but that should be fixed now
I have never seen a Sugar golf ball in my life and I have play golf for 20 years now 😂
Well to be fair they haven't been around for that long. I think they've maybe been around for 5 years?
ok +15 Handicap mid to slow swing using refurbished ProVs because they stop on the green. I ordered Sugar and Wiz. Going to see if this makes a difference.
Awesome! If you are a true loyalist to the Pro V then I think you will find the Sugar an adequate replacement.
@@GolfBallAddict Tried the Sugar performed really well. Stopped cold a few times
Played Cabot Citrus Farms Saturday! What a nice course! Going to be much better when it has matured!
That's awesome. Yeah the greens were just punched a couple weeks ago but I think this winter it's absolutely going to be phenomenal.
Great review! How can we purchase Inesis in the states?
At the moment it doesn't look like we can. I don't know if they're planning on shipping back to the US yet or not. I will email them and see if I can get a response
