I built my Ryft from scratch with Treal parts and a few Vitavon parts as well. Never had a problem with anything breaking so far. Great video.

I upgraded with Treal links and sway bars on front and back. Total game changer!

Awesome! Yep, I had huge durability issues . The lower Treal link really stiffined up the whole front suspension. Since I did that the truck has handled the abuse my son has thrown at it. I would say anyone with an rtr should upgrade the lower links and the rear trailing arms. I did pick up the specific Treal servo saver. Just haven't got around to installing it. I agree, I would go black lower links too 🤩

Going to order those soon. But that’s it. This thing is turning into money pit!

@@JasonPerrinRCVlogs It's a total money pit. I would have sold it long ago if it wasn't my son's. He loves the dam thing 🤣 Last time out it survived, but.... I have diff issues now that I need to investigate 🤦🏻‍♂️

Jason do you remember what size bolts you used for your hobbywing 1100kv motor. The bolts for the motor, using the wfo mount.

This Ryft has to be the most fragile RC release I’ve seen in a good while. Every single person I know has had to drop a ton of aftermarket into it to make it usable

You must not have heard of redcat before. Epitome of fragile

You think the real 1:1 don’t break stuff?? Lol man come on. This truck is an absolute beast and much cheaper in comparison and probably one of the most capable insane fun rc car in a long time. It can do anything with a little set up

It’s the same links for me and when I switch out from metal bead locks to plastic my metal bead locks keep coming loose and falling off and I use lock thread on the nuts

Unfortunately I do have to add that while a lot of people are calling this rig Fragile, it probably cops far more abuse than your average RC.
Though. If that's the intended purpose it should have come with some stronger parts.
But again as someone mentioned. In the Real World it's just like that.
If you buy a car and want it to stand up to abuse off road you have to drop money into aftermarket upgrades.

Suspension geometry will never work well for any kind of jumping. Breaking parts jumping this truck will for ever be an issue

The Ryft is no different than any other axial products there all garbage 🗑 made out of cheap plastics and only made for going slow! It’s really to bad because it’s a really nice looking rig but at the end of the day extremely poorly made with some of the cheapest plastics!!! The only good axial rig is one that you’ve spent more on upgrades then the rig actually cost and that’s really sad 😔 not trying to be negative just speaking the truth💯💯💯💯

In the real world though how many $40,000 4wd's are rolling around with another 40 or 50k worth of upgrades
