@@nibward5388nope. It’s straightforward. You level up the gun to a 100. Challenges almost always take way longer to complete than simply just leveling your gun up to a 100.
Camos not being locked behind grindy challenges is great, you use it however you want. No more "Such a shame that kill didn't count because I wasn't crouching", etc. This is great, just like MW3 2011 where you had to hit weapon LVL 31 playing however you liked, the mode you liked.
I prefer the Casual Weapon level grind to unlock rewards VS the stupid Cod Grind where you need to Use a specific weapon with a specific attachment in a specific time on a specific map when its blood moon to get 20 headshots with an Empty mag while spining on your head.
Battlebit had way more players than expected at launch and had no server issues. 3 devs made that game.. They went into debt to have good servers. I swear its these "AAAA" studios not wanting to pay up for servers.
Some do they just don't imagine that they get so many people or there isn't enough people to test it like last epoch tested servers for 100 k on launch it was 250k and there was a bug that happen after launch with server that took weeks too fix
It doesn't matter how many servers you have when millions of players log in at once. This happens when any AAA multiplayer heavy game comes out and it always will. The servers have to communicate with each other for larger population areas because you will have multiple servers in close proximity that are getting overloaded all at once. I'd rather wait a few hours to have the servers holding up correctly than go back to peer to peer matches.
I mean this has been a issue since before online gaming...just look at people trampling eachother to death on black Friday trying to get into a Wal-Mart on Black Friday. Queue issues on day 1 is just a social issue for everything.

Unlocking camos just by using the gun is my favorite form of camo progression. It's how it was in OG MW3, and it removed soooooo much stress from the overall grind

Ah ex cod dev makes a game similar to cod and they have the same issues cod did back in the day when they launched. I remember the first two weeks of bo2 and mw3 had so many server issues. Now that I think about it cod ww2 had the same issues.

My big gripes; No recentering after you stop shooting. Body blocking is awful with teammates. The "creating match" thing??? Aside from that? I'm chilling. Game is a lot of fun and I'm genuinely enjoying myself.
@@toptiertech7291nah overwatch is a very smooth game. Not to much movement but the feel is very nice. The movement in this game def feels weird the jumping and vaulting just feels awkward and clunky. The sliding and lack of a slide cancel other then jump feels bad and the way you come to a complete stop at the end of the slide isn’t great. When I throw a grenade it’s like I threw it with my nondomimat arm it’s so weak and I completely lose sight of it. The latency is always rough but I’m assuming that’s just because of the stress on the severs.
With their talk in the XDebrief I actually have some faith that they'll put some work on features the community wants. Especially with an idea on who our community connection is to the development team. But we will have to see if they can make the content we want and suggest

The fact that Xbox forces us to disable crossplay on a system level is rediculous. Also, the information about crossplay and input based matchmaking being on or off at the bottom of the screens is incorrect. Lastly, all I see is “can’t find game” and I wanted to try out the Welcome Playlist. What a welcome 😂
I feel like there isn't many people that remember Eat Sleep Prestige. Also I guess people didn't see that you could earn deadsec faction in the beta with 25k xp they said it will be available for purchase or earned through gameplay when the game launches
The worst part is that I usually have the highest ping in the lobby. Sub 20 while some players are in the 90s. And I’ll be shooting someone. Get their health bar half way down then I’ll drop. If they fix whatever’s causing that it’ll fix 20% of the problems
Some people have found matches, but it is very inconsistent because the servers are overloaded. This is a common occurrence just because not many companies have put enough to make the servers withstand above what they expect.
I got into a few games, but the servers are burning. The game is SOOOOOOO SMOOOTH and it's really pretty at max settings. They did a great job imo, just let the servers not off themselves.

I played this game for 6 hours last night. I don’t even remember the last time I played cod that long. This game is so fun! No issues on my side (Xbox)
It had a solid foundation but they decided to not build anything on it and just release it as it is. It will probably die within weeks. I really don’t understand what they were doing all this time. The game stayed the exact same since the first beta.
Don't know about everyone else, I found a game immediately and had no issues (I'm on Xbox). Hopefully this will be resolved for people having problems.
I'm personally really happy that there are no bizarre camo challenges. Trying to get double kills with rocket launchers dropped my invisible MMR super low and my blood pressure super high.
One thing I hate is not having the ability to go prone. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve died trying to go prone behind cover to reload and I die. Unless I’m just missing something control wise to do it, it’s not a feature and it sucks. But the games I’ve played hasn’t felt like I’m trying my heart out which is nice

My wife was watching me playing and looked over and said "that looks terrible to play, its so clunky" and i couldn't agree more. You feel fast but extremely heavy at the same time and hitboxes are fucked up. After about 11 matches I switched games for the evening

Everyone has a competitive mentality and have naturally gotten better. People just gotta learn to live with it now or just quit playing MP games entirely if they can’t keep up
Black Ops 4 had a combat record. It was really barebones though. I think it was because they were trying to push the companion app. You could properly track your stats there, and it gave rewards for doing stuff in squads etc.
I’m fine with the camo grind, I don’t need a big camo grind for something better than gold, plus I think it’ll be more like rainbow 6 where players will find a camo that will ultimately become the most sought after like black ice.
I actually think camo unlocking with level is a better system. Imagine the struggle every year with long shots and prone kills. Makes people camp more. With this, you just have to play the game and focus on getting kills and playing objectives to get more XP.

My biggest gripe with the game right now is the shop. Is that we're still using that credits system that so many other games have. It's the same issue with CoD Points btw. You pay money to buy a made-up currency to get what you want. This system is just awful. Why not just let people buy the product directly. Even Mobile games have this figured out, but a lot of these AAA games haven't. It pretty much gets you to pay more than their arbitrary set value. Example being the Battle Pass. It costs 700 of these credits, which is about $7, but because you pay for credits rather than paying for the product itself you actually have to pay $10 for a $7 product. The thing is they can easily charge in just regular currency. Meanwhile to buy the Battle Pass in (insert greedy gacha game here), I literally just pay the exact amount for that thing. I know the reason for why they do this, it's just something I hate, cause it's really just petty that these publishers keep pushing this. I know it won't go away cause it literally sinks into their pockets. Those 3 extra dollars multiplied by how ever many people pay for the Battle Pass. The thing is some games do this. Where both systems exist at the same time, which is fine in that regard, at least there you have a choice whether you pay for a made-up currency or not.
1000 percent has sbmm. My first match disbanded and I got a totally different lobby. Not only that I dropped 30 kills and dominated my first match and my next 3 matches were met with the sweatiest of players then around my 4-5th match I started dominating again. Lobbies disbanding, deff sbmm and the game looks like a cheap rip off Cold War? I might as well just play cod😂😂
I don’t mind the camos being tied to weapon level but level 50-75-100 is kind of insane at least not knowing what the level up time is gonna be like yet MW3 camos were unlocked by level and I loved it

This game is exactly what I was expecting and I’m loving it. Gives me the feeling of older call of duty. I’m really hoping this game lasts because I know I’ll be playing it for awhile
I haven't gotten around to playing it but at least from what I see it looks to be pretty decent. I think I'm pretty alright with "the grind" for weapons is to use them. Look, I know we Cod players expect challenges but they get tedious. The grind to gold in MW3 OG was a breath of fresh air for me because I could just have fun and not worry about it. I do like the weapon unlocks though. It's very reminiscent of old Cod where instead of designing challenges to make players spend more time in the game, they just gave an incentive to experiment with different weapons. Love that. I kinda wish they did that with attachments too kinda like MW2 OG, to further incentivise to experiment. I wonder how weapon kitting will be handled though. I've been talking about classic Cod a lot but what I really liked was being able to change a weapon in huge ways. How in MW2 OG the M16 could have reduced recoil by slapping an attachment no one liked. Or in BO2 you could config LMGs to be as mobile as assault rifles.
No there's not, I'm having a hell of a time right now, for the life of me I can't get headshots... and in my opinion it's ridiculous that they put the only gun I use behind a 20 headshot challenge.
It feels like cod mixed with over watch. It has guns but it has the super clunky movement of over watch. The gunplay feels AWFUL. I knew this would be trash. Not having SBMM doesn’t make up for everything else that isn’t fun with the game. Also I thought this game didn’t have disbanding lobbies. Almost every game I’ve been in has disbanded. Is there no game chat? No ones ever talking. It feels like a cheap clunky game. The animations are awful. When you get shot it doesn’t feel like you have a chance to even move and it doesn’t feel like it registers. WAY too much work needed. Plus you can’t even go prone while aiming? Is my controller supposed to vibrate when I get shot? Does it matter how fast you find a match when it takes a minute to start once you’re in the lobby, another minute to load up and another 30 seconds picking heroes? Even the font of the maps looks like an overwatch clone. Also these maps are AWFUL. Clearly not built for the 6 v 6 gameplay. The movement is terrible for the map size. There’s zero defined lanes. Also allowing certain characters to have more health than others is going to make 80% of people use that same thing
I remember the old f2p blacklight retribution fps game from 2014 on the PS4, that game had better gunplay than whatever they did with this. What significant thing has happened with the game since the first playtest other than the netcode...
Right now it's playable but in a week? People will be wall-hacking and aim-botting the shit out of the game. Also right now, it's... alright. Playing the cloaking lady with a double-barrel shotty is fun but it lacks oomph. Mind you, I never liked COD-style arena, domination, occupy, and capture the flag type games to begin with so I might not be the audience here. It performs well on DX12 and can hit 240 fps too, so that's also a W.
Remember when there were team based shooters where you had to work together, use cover, watch each others backs? This is just another COD clone, but even worse. Just more run as fast as you can, jump, slide, shoot. Get as many kills as you can and forget you even have a team. The state of shooters is pathetic.

I’ve seen my team mate will use phantom to throw a shield down and save our lives as we are capturing an objective. The intel suit my teammates use give me a reason to stay close to them. To use that intel. How’s it a cod close if you can’t even go prone. That is WAY more overwatch. Plus you have abilities and ultras? How is that like cod? Is it like cod because it has guns?

There were 2 different attacks on the servers. Guarantee Activision is behind it in some way.
I knew there would be server issues, but I didn’t expect people to be sitting there for hours trying to get into a match.
Game feels good,no TDM ruins it for me though,generally more then half of every lobby I'm playing in doesn't play the objective anyway.

My favorite part of the game is watching the rotating circles in the player slots while the matchmaking searches.
No camo challenges is perfect. Everybody can do longshots but barely anyone has fun camping the whole match to get them.
Dunno yet, all I've managed to form an opinion on is the main menu. It's a nice menu by the way.

Kept dying from bullets curving around corners. Till that NET CODE get fixed, I’ll still be on COD.

My wife was watching me playing and looked over and said "that looks terrible to play, its so clunky" and i couldn't agree more. You feel fast but extremely heavy at the same time and hitboxes are fucked up. After about 11 matches I switched games for the evening

Everyone has a competitive mentality and have naturally gotten better. People just gotta learn to live with it now or just quit playing MP games entirely if they can’t keep up

Not having Team deathmatch is just weird
There’s weapon challenges to gain bigger amounts of weapon xp, which will level your gun the fastest. This is exactly how ever cod pre warzone was.

Black Ops 4 had a combat record. It was really barebones though. I think it was because they were trying to push the companion app. You could properly track your stats there, and it gave rewards for doing stuff in squads etc.

I’m fine with the camo grind, I don’t need a big camo grind for something better than gold, plus I think it’ll be more like rainbow 6 where players will find a camo that will ultimately become the most sought after like black ice.
None of the camos are worth grinding for. Maybe silver but Gold and Bronze look like shit

I actually think camo unlocking with level is a better system. Imagine the struggle every year with long shots and prone kills. Makes people camp more.
With this, you just have to play the game and focus on getting kills and playing objectives to get more XP.

My biggest gripe with the game right now is the shop. Is that we're still using that credits system that so many other games have. It's the same issue with CoD Points btw.
You pay money to buy a made-up currency to get what you want. This system is just awful. Why not just let people buy the product directly. Even Mobile games have this figured out, but a lot of these AAA games haven't. It pretty much gets you to pay more than their arbitrary set value. Example being the Battle Pass. It costs 700 of these credits, which is about $7, but because you pay for credits rather than paying for the product itself you actually have to pay $10 for a $7 product. The thing is they can easily charge in just regular currency. Meanwhile to buy the Battle Pass in (insert greedy gacha game here), I literally just pay the exact amount for that thing.
I know the reason for why they do this, it's just something I hate, cause it's really just petty that these publishers keep pushing this. I know it won't go away cause it literally sinks into their pockets. Those 3 extra dollars multiplied by how ever many people pay for the Battle Pass. The thing is some games do this. Where both systems exist at the same time, which is fine in that regard, at least there you have a choice whether you pay for a made-up currency or not.

1000 percent has sbmm. My first match disbanded and I got a totally different lobby. Not only that I dropped 30 kills and dominated my first match and my next 3 matches were met with the sweatiest of players then around my 4-5th match I started dominating again. Lobbies disbanding, deff sbmm and the game looks like a cheap rip off Cold War? I might as well just play cod😂😂

I don’t mind the camos being tied to weapon level but level 50-75-100 is kind of insane at least not knowing what the level up time is gonna be like yet MW3 camos were unlocked by level and I loved it
I played 1 match and I got my m4 to level two so it gives me a little hope

I haven't gotten around to playing it but at least from what I see it looks to be pretty decent. I think I'm pretty alright with "the grind" for weapons is to use them. Look, I know we Cod players expect challenges but they get tedious. The grind to gold in MW3 OG was a breath of fresh air for me because I could just have fun and not worry about it.
I do like the weapon unlocks though. It's very reminiscent of old Cod where instead of designing challenges to make players spend more time in the game, they just gave an incentive to experiment with different weapons. Love that. I kinda wish they did that with attachments too kinda like MW2 OG, to further incentivise to experiment.
I wonder how weapon kitting will be handled though. I've been talking about classic Cod a lot but what I really liked was being able to change a weapon in huge ways. How in MW2 OG the M16 could have reduced recoil by slapping an attachment no one liked. Or in BO2 you could config LMGs to be as mobile as assault rifles.
The only problem I have is the time it takes to find a match😅😅😅😅

No there's not, I'm having a hell of a time right now, for the life of me I can't get headshots... and in my opinion it's ridiculous that they put the only gun I use behind a 20 headshot challenge.

It feels like cod mixed with over watch. It has guns but it has the super clunky movement of over watch. The gunplay feels AWFUL. I knew this would be trash. Not having SBMM doesn’t make up for everything else that isn’t fun with the game. Also I thought this game didn’t have disbanding lobbies. Almost every game I’ve been in has disbanded. Is there no game chat? No ones ever talking. It feels like a cheap clunky game. The animations are awful. When you get shot it doesn’t feel like you have a chance to even move and it doesn’t feel like it registers. WAY too much work needed. Plus you can’t even go prone while aiming? Is my controller supposed to vibrate when I get shot? Does it matter how fast you find a match when it takes a minute to start once you’re in the lobby, another minute to load up and another 30 seconds picking heroes? Even the font of the maps looks like an overwatch clone. Also these maps are AWFUL. Clearly not built for the 6 v 6 gameplay. The movement is terrible for the map size. There’s zero defined lanes. Also allowing certain characters to have more health than others is going to make 80% of people use that same thing
I remember the old f2p blacklight retribution fps game from 2014 on the PS4, that game had better gunplay than whatever they did with this. What significant thing has happened with the game since the first playtest other than the netcode...
Right now it's playable but in a week? People will be wall-hacking and aim-botting the shit out of the game. Also right now, it's... alright. Playing the cloaking lady with a double-barrel shotty is fun but it lacks oomph. Mind you, I never liked COD-style arena, domination, occupy, and capture the flag type games to begin with so I might not be the audience here. It performs well on DX12 and can hit 240 fps too, so that's also a W.

Remember when there were team based shooters where you had to work together, use cover, watch each others backs? This is just another COD clone, but even worse. Just more run as fast as you can, jump, slide, shoot. Get as many kills as you can and forget you even have a team. The state of shooters is pathetic.
What? If that’s how you choose to play then so be it. I don’t even like this game but it’s closer to over watch than cod. I’ve seen my team mate will use phantom to throw a shield down and save our lives as we are capturing an objective. The intel suit my teammates use give me a reason to stay close to them. To use that intel. How’s it a cod close if you can’t even go prone. That is WAY more overwatch. Plus you have abilities and ultras? How is that like cod? Is it like cod because it has guns?
