Yeah they put so much effort into it so it's a laughing stock due to the massive cheating issue, this will be the same. Same Publisher and same Anti Cheat, enjoy the cheating issue. No amount of effort, updates and fixes to the game will fix that, R6 is a prime example of that.

Ubisoft does not care and never have in the 10 years that game has been out, why should they all of a sudden now care. Trust me, they wont. This game will be infested with cheaters very soon, wait and see

Beta played better than the full release. I find this terribly clunky for a game released in 2024

Fixing your settings won’t help with the shitty net code this game has. Getting hit around walls, mag dumping but getting gunned in 3 bullets..
How are others killing you in 3 bullets if their net code is bad?
Yeah... not a net code issue. Sounds like you're running into either the MP7 or AK players. Those guns just hit like trucks rn

Difference is: Dying to sweats in an organic matchmaking experience feels a lot better than dying to sweats in a controlled and manipulative matchmaking system. Sure, its not fun either way in the long run, but it doesnt feel as rage inducing and "unfair" in XDefiant.
Finally a game that isnt all about abusing mechanics. All them cod sweats are gunna be crying playing people who are actually skilled.
Game is literally a hero shooter what do you mean? full of cheese like super flashbacks, spiders that render you immobile, shields, super health and invisibility. I am not saying I'm not enjoying it because it's so casual without sbmm, with a 3kd, but the game is not what you are acting like it is... oh and can we do something about matrix bending bullets? I'm tired of peeking for .1 seconds and someone melting me through 10 feet of brick wall by curving their bullets

I don't know. It's fun so far, but the amount of people I have been unable to hit or kill because they are spam jumping has been a little crazy. I'm not sure how they even do it.
Ima be honest bro the movement tech is actually significantly easier to time on xdefiant than CoD and u get more momentum from doing it similar to apex

i enjoyed playing last night but tonight idk if its just me and my system/isp or the netcode or what but i felt like i had a lot of unregistered shots and i was having terrible delay on firing input i would click lmb and it would feel like a full second would go by before the first bullet was fired i played with a controller last night but did mouse and keyboard tonight and i could only play like 3 or 4 rounds before i couldnt take the delay and unregistered shots anymore hopefully friday will be better when i play but the game is good overall i have been enjoying myself

Maybe it’s the dual sense edge, but the right stick dead zone by default at 10 seemed absolutely atrocious to me. I’ve been able to take it down to one and not get any drift.

Thanks for the advice! I'll be testing out your suggestions. I had a go at the game yesterday, but I haven't quite formed a solid opinion yet. One thing I did notice was that the movement, particularly using the right thumb stick, felt a bit clunky compared to the smoothness of COD MW 3 2023. Additionally, I found it challenging to keep my reticle centered, which became problematic given that I typically play hardcore mode in Call of Duty (where fewer bullets are needed to kill compared to core mode). As a result, I was constantly getting taken out because my aim wasn't quite on point. XDefiant seems to blend elements from Overwatch 2, Fortnite, and old-school COD Black Ops. I plan on tinkering with the settings and investing more time into it to see if I can find a setup that works better for me.

I enjoy the game and it’s definitely an interesting take on a COD like game. Overall the game is fun though the movement and the feel of the game isn’t as smooth as COD and can feel sluggish.

Yesterday the TTK was as you described(literally could not go positive with SMGs). Today it feels faster than counter strike TTK. And that's incoming and outgoing damage.
Its worth mentioning, the TTK vs TTD (time to die) is in this case also a result of hit reg and server inconsistencies. It has gotten a lot better since launch already, but its not perfect. Just keep that in mind, it's not always your aim that's 💩. I do expect things to get better during the next few weeks.
Game is fine but I don’t see myself sticking around for long it’s just there’s not much here just basic shooter and guns don’t feel that good to shoot the whole games feel is off idk how to describe it but it’s fun to hop on between now and again
As a hardcore cod player since the og mw2 i stopped playing mp after aw/bo and only came back around the time resurgance island dropped for the first time . mp got stale i bought mw19 never played it . i do enjoy br because its something new . i love xdefiant for the free mp and cod style movement . i can come pub stomp and get my gunnys up and go fry on cod br . cod killer no , fun cod alternative yes . i hope the community grows and everyone stops the hate , GGS

PSA:
My friends and I tested the settings and it turns out that the settings are messed up for the aim assist. -10 actually gives you stronger aim assist and 0 is weaker aim assist.
Also another bug with the settings is Mini Map rotation. Set it to off. For some reason it is also reversed. If you have mini map rotation on it will be stationary but if you turn it off it rotates

I usually don't lose my straight up ones, but the times I die I'm either ducking behind cover to reload and somehow still get killed by the enemy, or getting actual hit markers from dumping half a mag into their forehead , and they're still standing until they turn , notice me and kill me in 5 bullets. Besides that the game is fun
I really enjoy this game so far. I have a bad habit of grinding all the camos in every call of duty the first week the game comes out. I finished mw3 camos zombies/Multiplayer about 8 days after the game launched. And now I don’t touch it. I know there’s more to cod then camos but xdefiant PERSONALLY just feels better to me and I like the different factions. I can see this game getting better overtime and I won’t burn myself out like I did with cod😂😤

I mean I'm by no means crckd at COd but I'm not that bad and I've just been getting str8 BEAMED here in Xdef and my TTK is long and I do notice headshots are the key but I been missing left or right. Idk If linear or s curve type is best I feel better with jump shots with linear but s curve type really is snappy I have a 1.5kd with sniper the game is fun a tip is to use your handgun for speed it catches people off guard

I land 4-5 headshots with rifles and sometimes more than 7 with smgs on people and still get turned on and 1-2 tapped by them makes no sense lmao. I even turned on the damage numbers and it just doesn’t add up sometimes I do more damage than they have health and they’re still alive. Is that just a net code issue?
i only play fps games maybe once a week now if my friends hop on(apex), but i havent played cod in 4 years and being able to do better than my friend who plays cod constantly was funny and felt great
Watching your gameplay and seeing you getting kill streaks with a sniper even in almost point blank range makes me feel sorry for my self , I can’t even hit target with an assault rifle even mid range and struggling to get 7 kills

Went from apex to xdefiant and it's super fun but the AA is just stupid strong
They need to add matchmaking by rank or skill level. Which they do and can track. Also they must fix when u hit a person. Then they kill you. Their health is 100. Dying behind a wall after a second or two after getting hit originally (not fire bullets)
it has potential if the make movement and fluidity better increasing the skill gap
Fun as hell game ... PC players have a serious advantage over roller players though. Just need to flick through sens settings to get it where i want to but this game is great fun

My only issue is that it’s a little difficult to get the ads sensitivity multiplier right on mnk. I dropped it to 80-90% but it still doesn’t feel quite right compared to scoped guns in cs, or adsing in apex.
Now do a video of all the bugs and the overpowered snipers, rubbish hit boxes and hits not registering.
Coming from destiny 2 and playing this game it has really shown my dependency on the aim assist. Crucible I'm a headshot magnet but in this game I'm struggling

Valorant:Aim has to be precise you can’t rush every single round/game you will get wrecked 6 seconds into the round if you just charge in. (Xdefiant same way)
Call of duty: the weapons and feel of the game feel very similar to it but you have to take it slower (not to slow) but fast at the same time.
What sensitivity would you recomend for someone who plays mostly 7 somethimes 6 on cod

My aim's all over the place, high, low sensitivity it all feels like s+++ all the time and if I hit twice in a salvo I'm just lucky...

Anyone had glitches? I've been killed a handful of times in 2 hours of gameplay where I get shot by a guy not looking at me. It's a 1v1 situation and the dude is jumping around and I can see the gun pointed way left or right yet I die.

Just dropping in to say this is absolutely not how Reverse S curve works, it boosts small and large movements. Standard is the one that minimises small movements.
This game doesnt have bullet velocity tho, its hit scan as far as anyone knows so far.

They need up the AA for controller because MnK players have literally zero recoil and just beam with ease.
Snipers are literally noob tube in this game. I have 1.23 kid with sniper and I’m not even a sniper. The only reason I switched to sniper cause how bad the hit detection is in this game and net code literally made the game unplayable for me on 13 ping.
This game needs way too much work. Give it another year
Ubisoft won't hesitate to take down games should they not be worth the hassle. Remember that one quirky Battle Royale game? No? Me neither. Seems Ubisoft forgot it too. Not to mention the more recent controversies.
As such I'd wait to see where player numbers stabilize before considering any spending on the game. That is assuming prices won't be completely outrageous.
