Enjoyed the video. A few things, you could have done the whole race on those tires and save time on the pitstop. An alternative strategy is to run on as fast as you can with as soft tires as you can, then select intermediate for the 2nd stint and run according to conditions. It's possible to win with two stops if you're always on the right tires.
I literally just races this! I was in the lead last lap 3 minutes left & my power went out! I was so mad. Power just came on. I’m about to race it again. Weird because it was the first time I races this with no rain at all. Sunshine the whole way. I can’t believe my power went out.

Thank you good sir for racing the old school Ford even though it’s not very good on fuel mileage, years ago on Need for Speed Shift my favorite 10 class cars were the 1967 Shelby Gt 500 and the 1967 Corvette Stingray. On Road America with the Stingray I ran a 2:01 and that is rock solid 14 class car territory. Great video mate and keep up the great work 👍
I just tuned mine for this race last night, it’s great. I had the racing gearbox in it and swapped it back to the stock 4 speed. I had a 2 minute gap on the AI. Keep an eye on the radar and put some Intermediate tires on and have a blast.
Not gonna lie. $4.6mil was the most dough I've plopped down for a car in this game. That being said, it was totally worth it lol!! In my opinion, she's a priceless piece of racing history, that deserves her legendary status. Now if only they would add the LeMans R8, and my baby, the Apollo Intensa Emozione. I'd sell my soul just to sit in that car while it's revving lol. Happy racing!!
I use Pagani Huayra on this track with IM tyres. Top speed 340+ and reach first place in just 2+ min. Pit every 2 laps with fuel setting 4. You can easily get lead of more than 30+ sec in each lap, Fun to drive and always finish with more than 1 min lead.

I used to get rain during lap 4, sometimes at the end of lap 3 but since patch 1.13 it always rains during lap 2, completely fucking up the 1 pit strategy.
Been wanting this one, does anybody know if the 66 mark 2 is in the game? Most of the time I use the redbull junior( with hard tires and some lucky weather I can go through with no stops) but lately I have been using some of the other tuned down gr 3 cars just for variety.
Dan Gurney stated that the weight and brakes were it's weakness. The aston martin dp 100 vgt is the fastest car for this race, best lap is 3.51.700 am sure the idiot elitists who sneer at vgt's in this game will troll this post.

I’ve been doing this in the Radical. Usually the rain isn’t bad enough to worry about. All AI pit twice. It’s an easy(ish) 1 stop race
