I could never hope to ride this to its potential never the less I’ve always wanted a Fireblade. If I could I would have one anyway after 40 years in the saddle I deserve a trophy
The best review, thank you Toad. I love that bike.. My 1st bike was a Honda VFR400 & even if that this was old it was suprisingly high quality, it felt like a new model. Honda is absolutely awesome. Great to know they've done some fantstic updates to this 2024 CBR1000RR-R. Thank you Honda.
Can someone explain to me something? I noticed that the WSBK team uses showa suspensions and nissin brakes. With that in mind, why do they sell the SP model, the homologation bike, with ohlins and brembos if they aren't gonna use them? What is the point of anyone buying the SP model then? Why does it even exist? Also, I forgot to mention, the standard model is 1kg lighter and has a shorter wheelbase, a tiny bit shorter though, only 5mm.
Great video, great bike. Obviously its an improve on the '22. But will you notice that much compared the 22 blade? or is all the new technology only being felt on the track e.g the 2 throttles system, will you feel this on the road at a more normal legal speed, Thanks
The fact that honda still care to make their flagship superbike euro 5 compliant makes me respect them even more. Not just the 1000, they even preserved the 600 ! Meanwhile yamaha discontinued both r1 and r6 :/
The Panagale has 10% more engine capacity and a longer stroke, no surprise it has a lot more torque lower in the rev range. Compare it to the up spec 1000cc model.
Not quite sure why some riders make such a big deal about the riding position of a sports bike. What’s comfortable to you isn’t for someone else of a different height or weight for that matter. You just adjust. I do. It’s a sports bike in the end. Not made to be comfortable.
If you take your time to look it longer and longer you will see and you will love it and you dont even know I dont know about people taste but honda is a big brand eh ?

It's a bike for the track. It reaches 5% of its potential on the road. No way you'll experience any significant difference on the road

Yamaha will eventually replace it with an R9 according to some rumors.

I love almost everything about this bike but the exhaust looks like they put work boots on a model

Well, the reality is some are more comfortable than others, and it is a factor that DOES matter to mere mortals that want their cake ;-0
