I went back and watched them play Kentucky and a couple other games. I'm truly not sold on their DE on both sides. They run a cover 2 pretty much. So clear outs and drag routes....But I guess time will tell..

I’m a Dawg fan, but see it a little different. I hope you’re right, but I worry about the deep ball and OSU exploiting Kelee Ringo. Yes, he makes a big play every game or two, but he gets beat way too much. If we have to give him help every play from Smith or Starks, that takes away one of our key playmakers from their normal duties.

One of the bad things is Georgia will dissect the film of the Michigan game to exploit that Ohio State defense. Brock Bowers is really good and Bennett is not someone to take lightly he can sling deep passes downfield. Knowles running too much man won’t cut it.

Where georgia separates themselves from other teams is the 4th quarter. Georgia doesnt get tired. Georgia will lean on you and lean on you until you are completely exhausted and then they will feed off of that and only get faster and stronger.

Ohio is NOT going to run the ball against Georgia's defense period, it will all be on Stroud to win the game and the front 7 is gonna bring the pressure nonstop while the secondary plays man up. Ohio will have to load the box to stop Georgia's run and then Stetson will just pick them apart. Georgia is the most physical team Ohio will have faced this season.

I like how you're keeping it real. I just don't think Ohio State has enough depth on defense. Them boys are gonna get tired by 2nd half. And when they're tired, they're gonna be prone to mistakes. With that said, I think this game is a game that Ohio State can learn from and make adjustments for future improvements. That's what Michigan did, after their defeat at the hands of GA.
Georgia is loaded at Backs to keep that defense tired all day long and don't forget our pass game with the Wr's and Te's. Plus we are solid on defense and all that hype around peoples offense makes that defense want to contain it even better and a better D Line and O line.

Georgia is about as loaded as it gets right now, other teams are still Great, Ohio st is great I have wanted to see this game since we lost fields, what separates geoegia is we have fresh 4-5 stars in the 2H the other teams don’t and it’s hard to maintain the physicality with us late in the game
Hay D, I herd Kirby Smart say something in an interview in reference to scouting Ohio State for years even while at Alabama . They asked him why because Ohio State isn't on Georgia scheduled ? Kirby said he seen all of the SEC and how they did things , He wanted to see the best teams and how they win outside the conference , so he studied them for years . Michigan Clemson and Oregon and others But Ohio State is up to the Task believe that.

Ohio State's secondary started to struggle some years back after defensive coordinator Luke Fickell left for Cincinnati. OSU should have paid him extra money for long term to retain him with the Buckeye Nation. I had a bad feeling back then this was going to cost OSU future potential National championships being weak on defense.
I mean, we had a really strong defense(secondary included in 2019), but then Hafley left to HC BC and it's been an absolute shit show since. Weak as fuck. I feel like that was the last year we actually hit hard. Finished our tackles all over the field. Now, we just fall off like rain hitting Rain-X

I live and breath college football. went to OSU and now I live like 3 miles from the campus. And bro, everything you said was spot on. I used to be the "if we lose game we should FIRE Ryan Day....One of the most brilliant offensive minds in CFB .how ignorant are Those people? What has been the most glaring weakness for us....,defense! The coverage on those big plays were laughable! But more then that I could not understand forr the life of me how the game plan was dropping everyone back and make him read Zone don't rush every player on our team and put players like Cam Martinez in one on one situations when a he has not really even played much all year!!!! Say the game had 100 plays just an example I know that 8is not accurate...but say there were 100 plays....I would say OSU would have the better of it in about 82.Their QB had 12 completions...all game! But we gave them exactly what they wanted show off JJ's Big arm, and elusiveness in the pocket. If we made them run 12 plays or more on a drive....FG probably or maybe even a punt!
My entire family graduated from Clemson, and we literally can't stand Ohio State. BUT..........and as bad as I hate to say it, I believe CJ Stroud is going to have a game like he did in last seasons ROSE BOWL GAME vs Utah. NO ONE is giving Ohio St. a chance, and that is very dangerous in my opinion. I would even go as far to say that, the Georgia football team is over confident and already planning for the National Championship game. My Clemson Tigers are playing Tennessee in the Orange Bowl and could end the season with a 12-2 record. To be honest, I'm glad we didn't make the playoffs this season. We would have got the 4 slot if we would have beat South Carolina. If that would have happened, Georgia would have EMABARRASSED my Tigers. Anyway, trust me, Ohio St. can win this game. Ohio's team is built to outscore their opponents. They're made for a track meet. They don't do so well against teams that play defense though. They've played 2 teams the entire year with Elite defenses. They got blown out by one and they're about to play the other. The team they are going to face may be a better version of the team that destroyed them. This one is gonna be ugly.
BTW, If ohio looked at illinois film for strategy against Michigan they are dumb as wood. Corum was cooking illinois before he went down. After that their offense stalled as both their top running backs were out. Their were also down one of McCrarthy's favorite targets in Schoonmaker. There is no strategy to take away from that game. virtually all their top players on offense and defense were out and they survived.
