Michigan fan here..he is absolutely correct and here's what I see. Ryan Day is all about himself he's all about the home run ball the highlight reel or how it looks on ESPN. He's all about himself on these play calls. He is not patient he can't grind it out to win the game. I feel your pain brother. As a Georgia fan I've suffered many heartbreaking losses to Alabama some even under Kirby Smart but you gotta ride threw the rough times to enjoy the good ones. Saban for a while had a psychological advantage over Kirby and it took him a while to get over the hump and Ryan Day is experiencing the same thing against Michigan you just have to give Day more time and trust the process. There's no need to get rid of Day, especially where we're starting a 12 team playoff yall will make it more often than not.
Something a Ohio State fan brought to my attention when I compared Day to Harbaugh was they said Harbaugh came in to a mess and Day came in or as they put it ,born on third base and still can’t beat Michigan. Makes sense. Just having a decent team and losing 5 years in a row is different than having an elite team and losing. I feel your pain and when the pendulum swings the other way none of these loses will hurt so bad. I remember being miserable going to school everyday for a week after a Woody Hays team beat us. During our 8 game losing streak to you the last 3 victories in the 10 year war between Woody and Bo meant nothing 40 years later. You are young . Enjoy being a part of the greatest rivalry in not just college football but arguably all of sports! Go Blue!

If you watch a fairly recent Josh Pate video about the recruiting differences between Michigan and Ohio you’ll see the disparity between the amount of four and five star players. Question is….
Are your players coachable in the system you operate? The last three years are prime examples of that fact.
A coach’s number one priority should be young men’s development. He left A LOT of lifetime memories for athletes to never know what beating TTUN is like. I feel terrible for Marvin Harrison the most. He competed with all of his heart everyday; and that amounted to not even getting a chance to be rewarded. SICK!
He didn't even try to or attempt to break up or tackle the defender to stop 2 interceptions. Two lousy throws but still. Marv will be fine.

Michigan fan here, but I want to say this about McCord. One of my best friends and a friend who was in my wedding was a walk on at Miami when guys like Clinton Portis, kellen Winslow etc were there and grew up in Ohio and knows some people on the staff. Most there don't think McCord should be starting but how do you think they got Marvin to go there? Who was his HS QB? That's why he is starting.
With that said. OSU has been fortunate to have heisman quality QBs for almost two decades now. It also turns out Stroud may be generational. McCord, if at Michifan, would probably be a top 5 QB ever. He would be the best QB a team like Iowa has ever had. Just some perspective with the McCord frustration.

Treyveon was not open on the last play of the game. The defense was reading McCord's eyes. He telegraphed that throw to Harrison. Thats why the Michigan DB on that play played the deep route. McCord cant read defenses.

Our special teams have not been fantastic, and you trust them more than your first round draft pick filled Offense. You hurt their hearts with that. I just have to be honest.
