I want everyone to pay attention to this team as season unfolds. 1. No "creative" play calls, specifically in the passing aspect of it. I saw regular routes, which Michigan took advantage of last year (and will duplicate this year) if they keep on doing it. You see teams that are known for good offenses, like Texas or SC, they mix-up the passing play calling so much, you never see a negative results. Ohio State needs to implement the bubble or motion plays to make DBs get closer to the line so wide outs can get behind them. 2. On the defensive side of the ball, I'm sicken tired of the bull rush. That's why we hardly get any sacks lately.
That must have been the saddest game I have seen in all my years as a buckeye..... This is going to be a sad season if not our worst season coming.... They are not hungry and just weak players..... WEAK !!!!!
Play calling was atrocious! Why are we running the bal up the gut. Ohio state runs off tackle and sweeps around the edge. Also we didn’t throw the ball. Harrison was open a lot of the game and got minimal looks. Appreciate the content
As a Michigan fan I say this now, you know how OSU is. They might start slow then they get their shit on track. At the ABSOLUTE WORST, OSU goes 9-3. Loses to ND, Penn State, and Michigan. But like I said, that’s the absolute worst they could do I think.
Just keep in mind that there DC has worked with Knowles for several yrs. An he spent last yr at OSU so he knew what the offense was trying to do. That said the left side of the OL was awful. The OL hand placement is awful. Its time for Frye to go. Carter on DL was coming unblocked time after time! Put in the Freshmen. He has 2 games to get comfortable. Day has to stop calling plays. Get a bona-fide OC put them up in box an go to work. No way in hell Harrison Jr an Egbuka have a combined 50 yrds!! Get them the ball!!! Henderson is fast he just don't have elite vision get him ball an get him out on the edge. Let D. Trey , Williams an Hayden run between tackles!!!
