It wasn't targeting. He led with his shoulder and it was a hard but legal hit. I see your passion for your team. There were a lot of plays that went your teams way, if you be honest you know that ya'll got away with a LOT OF HOLDING the whole game.
Top Billin has an excellent breakdown of the play. Also, MHjr would not have made that catch with or without the hit. The ball clearly goes through his hands before the defender reaches him.

I hate to see players, any players getting hurt. I don’t want anyone getting hurt. That was a hard hit but it was not targeting.
OSU fans are the only ones saying targeting. I watched it about 15 times. Not head to head. Shoulder pads to shoulder pads. Side of head may have touched barely but the helmet contact didn’t snap the head any.
NO. The number one reason you lost this game is because your team did not play 4 full quarters of solid, committed, complimentary football.
How do I know? Because Georgia suffered from that same problem until last season, when they finally broke the curse.

As a Tennessee Vols fan, I was mainly rooting for UGA, but overall, I just felt like that Ohio State should have won the game. I mean y’all could have won the game even with Marvin Harrison Jr or even without Marvin Harrison Jr. Ohio State could have won that game either way, regardless of what happened to Marvin Harrison Jr.

After that lose I started seeing stars, and got really hot and light headed for about 2 mins. So heartbreaking. But I’m no sore loser, hats off to Georgia. I feel really bad for Ryan day as well, the emotion he displayed showed he really worked his ass off to get his team ready, and he did. It wasn't targeting. It was a football play.
If you watch that play in slow motion you’ll see that Georgias defender never even touched Harrison’s neck or head. The defender hit Harrison’s shoulder with his shoulder. Harrison got injured bc he landed on his own head when he fell. Go watch that play in slow motion and you’ll see exactly what I just said. I watched it from different camera angles and in slow motion. Nobody hit Harrison in the head or neck. No targeting
As a UGA fan, we disagree on the analysis of some of the more controversial points of the game…but I give much respect to Ohio State! The players heard all of the national analysts, fans, and media in general question their toughness, their coaching, and their place in the playoffs and they responded! Responded in a huge way. Y’all played with an edge and the play calling was great. And CJ Stroud is a stud! His pocket presence was amazing and he was laser accurate. Hats off to the Buckeyes. Sucks that someone had to lose this one.
Go back to the replay, go frame by frame. When you find a frame of 22"s shoulder hitting Harrison's head. Go back to your TH-cam channel and post it. Call me out, I'll wait!!!
If you actually slow that hit down, he technically hit him on the back with his shoulder. Physical hit, WR was making a play on the ball and this is the playoffs. Both coaches said this would be a very physical game and this is what physical hits do.

I'm a UGA fan, but I can honestly say that Ohio and UGA are the best teams in college football. This game could have easily gone the other way. To me, this game was the real college championship game.....not the upcoming UGA vs TCU game. Just one word of caution though, if you're going to call a fake punt, try not to have 12 men on the field. lol

Hey Nique I know your pain all of it. In 2017 in the 2nd & 26 game we had one of our corner backs called off side on a blocked kick against Alabama, and on the replay it was not. That cost us the National Championship. I know that does not help any.God Bless you brother,Happy New Year!!!!

Yep, we pretty much needed to play perfectly for this game. We knew our defense wasn't going to be great, but at least the offense showed up and didn't shoot themselves in the foot with delay of game penalties, false starts and a ridiculous amount of PIs

I officiate football that was clear targeting if we are trying to clean the game up. The officials drop the ball and it hurt us for a opportunity didn’t cost us the game.
As you say, Kirkby calling that time out right before that conversion really messing the team momentum, almost as identical as icing the kicker which is later on cost them.. big time

I haven't read any of the comments. But If you didn't know, there was a rumor, that was later substantiated. That there was a camcorder found in one of the suites recording the buckeyes practice. And the for Kirby smart to call that time out because the punt formation looked wrong??? That was suspect to me
