Camino de Santiago Days 11-15 | Community on the Camino Frances (2023)

- On days 11-15 of the Camino de Santiago (Camino Frances), I travel from Navarrete to Grañón, Belorado, Atapuerca, Burgos, and Hornillos del Camino. Soon, I begin to soften and lean into trusting the process. We stay at the Parroquial San Juan Bautista and find the most uplifting and beautiful community spirit there. Further along, my Camino tío, Alfonso, and I come across the MOST breathtaking sunflower fields. We even run into Sister Lucía Caram! ❤️ I start to find new strength, getting into the rhythm of pilgrim life.
What is it that needs healing? What is it that I can let go of? Find out next week as the journey continues ✨

You are a gorgeous soul I wish you well for the future, your videos are relatable and honest go well ❤
thank you so much for the kind words! 💜
I have watched many 'series' of hiking the camino and yours has been one of my favourites, really entertaining and insightful. I chose to comment on this episode particularly because of the ( I am sure unintentional) slight of hand... 3:57 the glass goes up containing wine... and appears to come back down again containing water :)
From one Jenn to another Jen…your videos are wonderful and provide so much insight on how to walk YOUR own way, which might be different than someone else. Such a valuable lesson. Thank you again for sharing!
Hey Jenn, thanks a ton! Walking your own way is what it's all about. 🙌
Amazing Jen, I just listened to you say you will be finishing on Sept 17th.....I plan to start my Camino this year on that date, my late husband's birthday....12 months after you finish. I love your smile and very honest open comments. You and your Camino friends are very inspiring. Gracias mucho.
Touched by the words of the man who was there with his table filled with treats for people who travel the Camino. “today I think to think is good, the peace, tranquility the forest, nature the sound of the birds, my mother, your life, my friends…all things I think, I think in the love I think in you”. Such an inspirational journey for you and for them. Thank you for sharing this beautiful story with us.
He was such a character! Thanks for your comment!
Alright, I’m going.
👏👏👏 Yesss!!
The Camino calls you…..
I loved the kind friend quoting poetry, how moving were his words.
Thanks Jen for another lovely video. You are so positive on your journey & it's great to see that new friends are so easily made on the Camino.
This was so much fun to watch. The narration was beautiful and the sunflowers were incredible. This segment displayed the struggles and joy of the Camino challenge! Well done Jen and can’t wait for the next installment!❤
❤❤ BUEN CAMINO ❤❤
Keep 'em coming! 😎
LOVE IT JEN!!!
Hi Jen. Really enjoy watching your journey. Appreciate your genuine approach. Thanks for taking us along with you. Cheers from Melbourne Australia.
So glad you enjoyed watching! It was such an adventure. Thank you SO much for joining me on this journey! 💜
Hi, Jen! I'm Summer😘 I'm watching your videos right now! It's so cool!! I miss the time when we shouted Buen camino together and walked with you and Alfonso🥹🥹🥹
Summer!! 💜 I'm so glad to hear from you!!! 🥹 Happy you enjoyed watching the video! How was the rest of your Camino?? When did you arrive in Santiago? Hope all is well at home :) Sending big hugs 🤗 ♥️
Wow, lots of buses and taxis!
It was nice meeting you on Camino, Jen! Watching your videos takes me back and makes me wish I was there.
Hey John!! Omg, thanks for your comment. It was SO fun chatting with you along the way. That dinner we had in Pontevedra was so much fun. Really happy to hear the videos bring back good memories. I’ve been missing the Camino so much in the weeks since, tbh. Will you do the Camino again? Hope to see you along the way! ✨👏
@@jenontherunn I walked the Ingles after the Frances and loved it. I will do the Frances again one day.
Omg!@@johncstokes75 That's amazing, I didn't realize you were planning to do that. Hope to see you along the Camino again someday! 🙌
Interesting thing about the Camino, it simplifies life. You no longer care so much about how you look, what you have, and what others are doing. Walk, take a bus, stay in a hotel or a hostel, etc. Walk your own Camino. Thanks for sharing
My thoughts exactly. I really think it's great when pilgrims do the Camino in the way that works for them. Thanks for your words 💜
Why did you tell the guy that your name was Isabela?
It's an inside joke we had going for awhile :)
