Was surprised how capable the Porsche was, it clearly doesn't like getting it's feet too wet but otherwise really good. Sounds really good when you put the peddle down👍
Awesome video, love cayennes. Subscribed! Doing some videos as well! . You didn't even go that deep, what happened tho? Interesting, cuz I went way deeper with good speed, had water going on hood and windshield and it was fine!
Thanks for supporting!! And don’t know what happened there, I thought speed was the issue but yours was fine so our one should’ve been too but oh well we gotta get a snorkel on it to be safe 😅
IF what I saw was correct, the tow of the Nissan was done without a kinetic strap and by the hitch?? If you're new to this type of thing, in scenarios like this use a kinetic strap, it's far easier on both vehicles AND NEVER use your tow hitch to tow another vehicle offroad. There are plenty of training videos out there, like from Factor55 which explains why you never do this.
It was all done properly, if you look carefully then I’m using tow hitch receiver on my rear bumper and also it wasn’t a hard pull. We just moved slowly and got out. I never use hitch balls to recover, they are ticking time bombs 🙃
@@adamplummer7369 No worries mate! So its my friends Porsche, he’s got factory tow points which probably are not great. He’s looking at getting front and rear bumper for towing.
Как приятно смотреть на Кайен!)
Вот так надо отдыхать на внедорожниках, красавцы!
Glad you loved it 😊

Not many Porsche i have seen doing 4x4, awesome video
Awesome shots guys... and thanks for the impromptu tag along to throw in some sidetrack guidance, made my zj Jeeps maiden voyage a lot more fun!
No worries mate, will be doing camping in that side bit at some stage 🙂 get in our Facebook group for future tag alongs - New Zealand 4wd and Camping
That was a close call with Porsche 😮 true off-roading test
Haha yea it was a bit of situation for us aye
Good to see something different on trails, amazing video

It is a beast aye, and yup owner is looking into getting a snorkel at some point so till then he will go easy on puddles 😁
Great Video.💯
Thanks
I dunno if it was hydro locking, the water didn't seem high enough to enter the intake.
Water was all over the intake
Great video. Feel excited when I watch it. Go Porches go!🎉
Thanks Frank! We gotta do Cape paliser again so you can join on that one
@@ravenoverlanding when will you do it? I would love to join you if the date and time is right.😁

Those drone shots 🫠
Cheers
Interesting Video. First time I saw the Porsche off road…
Its an awesome rig for off-roading and we were quite surprised by its performance.
Crazy trail. Still impressed with the Porsche, it handled things pretty well.
It impressed me for sure Stacy. Thanks for watching 🙂
Do the quick sway bar disconnects require cert? been wanting to add them to my wj
Don’t think so but not 100% sure on that
In the drone footage, where you're all parked up on the road corner (8'53" in to the video) - is that the roof of a 4x4 at the bottom of the cliff?
yep, 9'05" confirms it... Hope the driver/passengers got out ok.
Its just a normal car dumped there long time ago.

@@ravenoverlanding yes of course, interesting. Thought maybe you figured out later. Oh well it's porsches lol and that's why we love them!
Nope we didn’t actually, he just got it serviced and its fine since then. But he won’t be going through puddles that fast for sure.
Good 👍.
The old cayenne really was a off-road beast, the new ones got a bit beauty queen like tbh, but they are faster on the road
They are incredible off the road, i was quite surprised on their capabilities.

What size lift do you have on the Cayenne and what size wheels are you running
Its on no lift and 32s
@@ravenoverlanding Hi Raven, Sorry to bother you again but does your Cayenne use the factory tow points for recovery at the front or another system ?
