There are worse cars for sure. I've heard the Camaros are worse. The new Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato is impossible to see out of. They include a rear view mirror but you cant see out the back window anyways!
I actually rented a Camaro while having some work done on my C6. I immediately hated it for this reason. I don't even find the C6 blind spot to be worth mentioning.
Hey from the South Carolina Coast. Have 4 Vettes, all mint, all low mileage. A 95 convertible, a 96 coupe Z51 a 1964 L76 327 / 365 hp and my fave one to drive is my all original, original owner, only 10k miles 2007 Z51 3LT Atomic Metallic Orange. All have very tinted windows living in SC. Nice little vid here thanks. Driving a Vette is certainly different than driving any other car. Wouldn't trade them for anything.
Love Atomic Orange! I'm biased so I have to say it's 2nd best with Jetstream Blue holding #1. The only Vette I've driven in my C6. It's certainly different than any other car I've driven and it's been such a great owning experience. Never knew I could build such an attachment to cars. Only thing more important to me is my family and friends.
@@smurfwithavette Yes ! Family first for sure. 2nd best color Atomic Orange ? Haha number 1 in my book. 😂😂 I do love your Jet stream Blue. Is that a metallic paint ? Mine sparkles in the sun. Each Vette I own drives differently. Love each one of them with their own personalities.
Yes JSB is a metallic paint! It really pops in the sunlight on a nice day. Very thankful I do not have black. It seems almost impossible to keep clean and scratch free.
I wouldn't exactly call the spot welds that hold the factory radiator support together robust. Then again, you might have one of the aftermarket ones, which are robust. Side note, if I had kept my factory parts, then I'd be close to having a whole C6.
Something every C6 owner should do is get rid of the stock headlights, which suck and make driving dangerous at night. Replace them with LEDs and they look so much better.

That blind spot is not bad at all. I was actually really impressed how well I can see. Drive a newer Camaro. Those are bad.

@@JEverclear totally agree.
I couldn't imagine not having tinted windows lol
Especially here in nor cal 😂
You can get 70% ceramic tint that will keep the heat out and protect your interior better without having to go so dark.
@@jeffstephenson4156i also don’t like people looking inside my shit so i have 5% 😂
@@mass9213 well, there is that too! Lol!
The C6 never had t-tops, they are called TARGA tops. The C3 was the last generation to have t-tops.
I did some research and you are 100% right! Learned something new thanks 👍
You might be right. But also the t in "t tops" could mean targa 🤷♂️😂
@@chroma6625 nope, t-tops are two pieces of “glass” separated by a bar in the middle. Targa means no bar in the middle and one piece of “glass”

@@leakyleekss Sorry Leaky, my son already has Dibbs on it 😂😂
I own a 2013 60th Anniversary Grand Sport Coupe and love everything about the C6 corvette generation
They really are wonderful cars!

Everybody says the radiator support is easy and the video seemed easy
Thank you for the information great job and you're very informative I have a C6 Corvette 2009 convertible Crystal Red metallic tent coat
Thank you! Beautiful color!
Beautiful color but I wouldn't have a rag top
First thing I did was tint. Never had an issue
Drive a Jeep Grand Cherokee before you say a C6 has a blind spot, I’ve limo tinted all 4 of my C6 and never had a problem.
Good luck with yours tho
Great video!
not T tops.

I will say Morimoto has some pretty cool headlights for the C6!
You want a newer car. Buy a C7
