Lawsuits against dragons for failure to obey traffic laws are going to be quite an important source of work for attorneys now that lawyers are back in Khurai'in.
In Case 1, Dhurke is set up to be evil. In Case 3, Phoenix’s conversation with Datz hints that the Defiant Dragons are not evil. You also learn that Apollo is Dhurke’s foster son. At this point, Dhurke is set up to be not evil, but still intimidating. The opening cutscene to Case 5 supports this. Then, Dhurke appears in the office and starts telling Dad jokes. I like how Dhurke was portrayed in a less villainous light as the game goes on (although he’s still very intimidating, as Inga, for one, knows)
You know character development was so top notch, that a character that only appeared in one case made you cry a tear or two by the end of his arc. Dhurke is probably in my top 5 ace attorney characters now, to be honest.
Dhurke visiting the Wright Anything agency be like: "Hey, son! Finally found the milk store and I bought some sushi too while I was at it. Did you miss me?"
if this did happen, it would tie in with a backstory like phoenix in apollo justice. i would imagine this scenario playing out in an apollo justice 2 type of game
Hear me out: a two-parter case using everything mentioned here: dhurke as the attorney, datz as the assistant, tying in apollo’s MOM as the defendant but then we pull a “the inherited turnabout” from aai and either go back n forth between the past and the present using apollo and datz and/or rayfa and dhurke and datz
Well then you get three responses: They just avoid you since you're really odd They tease you for that lame line Or they actually get the reference and start fangirling a bit. ...either way, it would be interesting.
Literally one of the biggest plot twist this series has ever put out. Everything was built so well. Who would ever think that dhurke wasn’t actually alive the first time you meet him? When you figure out how to “save” maya, that was just a big lie to make you think that maya was actually kidnapped BUT SHES O MY god it is so well constructed.

He defended himself in court and won. Prosecution had to forge evidence afterwards to even get the case put on ice. Never even lost, just started a revolution to fix that shit.

Saddest thing: the whole time you hear this song, he's already dead. Excluding his brief appearance at the end of case 3, in all the interactions with him he's being channeled by Maya and later by Amara. He died before case 5 even started.
My favorite part was when Nayhuta ripped off his glove and basically become Dhurke 2.0. You can’t be better than Dhurke but the character development with Nayhuta was crazy.
I mean... his English VA did voice some Fire Emblem characters, such as Virion (I think only in FEH, though), Zephiel (same as Virion) and Rudolf. I knew I recognized his voice... Also, even funnier, he's the announcer in MK9, MKX and MK11.
The buildup to him is so well done, and he made such a big impact on a single finale case, he was really integral to the game's story... I love him, Dhurke went out like a champ, we'll never forget him. A dragon never yields!

Just a coincidence but I still find it funny : Apollo's japanese name is "Housuke" "Ryū" means "Dragon" in japanese Phoenix Wright's original name (since "Ace Attorney" is a japanese game originally called "Gyakuten Saiban") is "Ryūichi Naruhodō" His ancestor's name is "Ryūnosuke Naruhodō" "Ryūnosuke" seems to be a mix between "Ryūichi" and "Housuke" According to the wiki : "The name (Ryūnosuke) literally means "dragon herald" (i.e., someone heralding the arrival of a dragon). In retrospect you could say Dhurke not hesitating to annoy Ga'ran and constantly dissing her in court was because he knew he was dead and couldn't be executed, but I want to believe he would have done the exact same if it was him with his life on the line.
That case... such a good case. And such a good ending too. Spirit of Justice was the first Ace Attorney game that I have played blind. It did not disappoint. A Dragon Never Yields
I liked this backstory and all, but I feel like they're intentionally fucking with us. Apollo's foster father shows up after 10 years and tells Apollo about his biological father, but nobody gives much thought to who his mother is. He even suggests Apollo and Trucy marry each other and Trucy gets flowers from Thalassa in case 2.
Well yeah. For whatever reason, they are really saving the Thalassa reveal. Though I'll surprised if her identity is revealed to her children without her turning up in a body bag.
You cannot convince me otherwise that in the next game, Thalassa is going to be a murder victim, and that it will be pinned on Apollo. He's the only member of the WAA that hasn't been accused of murder and Capcom seems to like revealing lost family ties in tragic ways.

In retrospect you could say Dhurke not hesitating to annoy Ga'ran and constantly dissing her in court was because he knew he was dead and couldn't be executed, but I want to believe he would have done the exact same if it was him with his life on the line.

I liked this backstory and all, but I feel like they're intentionally fucking with us. Apollo's foster father shows up after 10 years and tells Apollo about his biological father, but nobody gives much thought to who his mother is. He even suggests Apollo and Trucy marry each other and Trucy gets flowers from Thalassa in case 2.
Well yeah. For whatever reason, they are really saving the Thalassa reveal.
Though I'll surprised if her identity is revealed to her children without her turning up in a body bag.

You cannot convince me otherwise that in the next game, Thalassa is going to be a murder victim, and that it will be pinned on Apollo. He's the only member of the WAA that hasn't been accused of murder and Capcom seems to like revealing lost family ties in tragic ways.
