"No compromise track Miata" seems like a challenge and I am here for it! I have a similar set up NB2 without AC and PS (so I just take the summer off). As far as #3 at 3:09, what I do is throw the steering wheel in the trunk and turn key in the trunk LEFT, that disables the interior trunk latch from operating! FYI if you didn't know. Edit: I run a Boss hub and NRG QR with a resistor for the airbag light and the factory clockspring works. Getting in and out of the car without QR is a pain for me/my set up.
Did mounting them like this also prevent the drivers seat from being kind of off center from the wheel? This is one thing that notoriously bothers me in the miata.
Hi Andrew! - I'll measure it next time I'm around it. My guess is the seat is probably on center (or close), but I think the seat might be turned slightly (to get the sliders to work) - if that makes sense. Not sure how long I'll keep the sliding rails
Thanks James!! Lol - next up for the miata are clutch, radiator, diffuser, then parallel ECUs; I want to be able to switch between the OEM ECU and a standalone quickly and get the tune shaken out with A/C retained

Great install video! What’s next for the cleanest track Miata Road America has seen?

Never seen the worst job. That plates? Disgusting. Seats too wide? Mate, why?!
