I don't understand how you put the same item in the toolkit and in the objects. When I use the bow arrow then press square ect I don't consume the item, I send the items to storage but I don't duplicate. I do have the Nexus link in my toolbox. I'm on ps5 v1.00.
I didn't test if this works in 1.0 patch, the video is in 1.4 patch (current one) But assuming that works, maybe you are pressing square button too early
@@Alucard114 Yeah, there is plenty of time, like I said, I know it's tricky, but once you get the timing, it's ok. I literally did in the video more than once
@@bloomingdaemon Use the bow animation, wait like 1s and press square, then do menuing Or you can you use the roll animation instead the bow, do a roll, at the moment the character touchs the back on the floor, press square and do the menuing

Yeah, It works, it's still current patch and we still use in speedruns, you just need to have another item in the hotbar as well

@@Alucard114 Yeah, but as I do in the video, you need to unequip the item you want to dupe before you store. It's tricky, but you can get
@@Duclier1 the animation is too quick there's no way you can unequip switch enter the prompt to send to storage by the time the animation is complete

I FIGURED IT OUT
You need a SECOND ITEM in your hotbar. I just had only the soul in there, then when I put a Nexial Binding in, it worked!!

Late reply here, but yeah, works with any souls, just not boss souls since you can't equip them
Wasted all my Souls trying it but it doesn't work any longer, why are all exploits removed.. They made the game more enjoyable
The exploit still works, the game wasn't patched, I still run this game and a lot of another speedrunners
