I came across them around Christmas time. Very opportune, I got my brother to buy me their ‘Heavy Metal Never Dies’ Tokyo concert on Blu-ray as a present. It’s stunning. They are an amazing band, can’t get enough of them :)
99% of their songs will melt your face, it's in their DNA. Recommend Set The World On Fire live 2021. More epicness and thrashy AF. A Big 4 influenced song by all means but with next level solos / harmonization. Great reaction. 🤘
Lovebites concerts are around 90 minutes and each song is just as complex as the next. Its amazing listening to 5 instruments (vocals included) in sync for that long. Just watching Haruna on drums and seeing how she not only keeps the train moving smoothly, but also accents vocals, guitar and bass in unique ways for each song. Then imagine remembering all that for each of the 15 or so songs in a full LBs concert. Then add to that how dry the guitar tones of Midori and Myako are, where there isn't a lot of effects used that could mask any mistakes.The technical excellence of each member should not be discounted.

Just started following these INCREDIBLE LADIES a few months ago and the first video I saw was a solo by Midori and someone commented she was pregnant when it was filmed 😲 but also at the end of the solo she put the guitar down and started a Piano solo 😲 they are UNREAL 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘 also found out there are numerous JapanMetal bands that are all or mostly women but can't get past Lovebites to check it out 😁🤘✌️

Forget music videos. The only way to listen to love bites is to watch them live. I've been going to concerts for over 50 years and I enjoy watching them immensely. They never disappoint musically and technically. Very diverse music, from 'edge of the world' to 'break the wall, to 'a frozen serenade ' to 'set the world on fire' to 'nameless warrior' to ' liar ' all live.

Love Harunas drumplaying. And there are lots of drummer s at her level but what impressed me is her stamina during a whole concert. In that sense she might be one of the best in the world. Don't get me wrong, i really love her cymbal work and she is like a programmed drummachine song after song and she checking her past druming it is hard to hear changes. Few drummers are that good

The only way to listen to love bites is to watch them live. I've been going to concerts for over 50 years and I enjoy watching them immensely. They never disappoint musically and technically. Very diverse music, from 'edge of the world' to 'break the wall, to 'a frozen serenade ' to 'set the world on fire' to 'nameless warrior' to ' liar ' all live.

Love Harunas drumplaying. And there are lots of drummer s at her level but what impressed me is her stamina during a whole concert. In that sense she might be one of the best in the world. Don't get me wrong, i really love her cymbal work and she is like a programmed drummachine song after song and she checking her past druming it is hard to hear changes. Few drummers are that good

This is the Lovebites trademark, touching the soul of those with a musical ear and a love of this kind of music. They have succeeded in elevating to perfection the musical composition that has made the history of heavy metal. When you're confronted with perfection, your soul feels it, and it manifests itself physically.
I'm 68y.o. its been decades since a band gave me that "wow" factor and these ladies have given me that more than once the talent is obvious the performance incredible and as a guy they sure aren't hard to look at but that's just a bonus included in the band's makeup...i'm in the Wolfpack.

I would recommend reacting to Lovebites Winds of Transylvania live. Everyone told them they would never be able to do it live. So ofc...they did!
These ladies are very talented. I was never a real metal head but I definitely don't have a problem listening to them. Another good one to check out is Unlucky Morpheus, they are a very talented group of musicians.
