"Soldier Stands Solitarily" is 195 bpm of pure awesomeness ! This show was the Tokyo leg of Lovebites' "Judgement Day" tour held last year, and "Memorial for the Warrior Souls" is the just released LIVE album based on this specific concert. In addition to "Soldier Stands Solitarily", 3 other LIVE videos were recently dropped - "We are the Resurrection", "Rising" and "Edge of the World". The band also recently released their new EP "Lovebites EP II" with 5 new songs - "Unchained" (MV), "Soul Defender" (MV), "Where's Identity" (audio only), "The Bell in the Jail" (audio only), and "Someone's Dream" (audio only). All aforementioned songs are in Lovebites' official YT channel.
I saw them playing this song twice: first during the belgian concert rehearsal, and it was very interesting because Asami was only providing a "vocal guide" without delivering power - just enough for a sound check warm-up. And then two hours later during the concert and there she was at full power just like here! She's a very professional singer who knows perfectly well how to manage and save her voice 👍. And she's very funny and active backstage!
Not wanting to brag, but I saw Lovebites play this song in London two months ago 😁 In a few days they make their North American debut at Atlanta before playing a few more gigs in Dallas, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. I wish them every success in the tour and hope to see them back in Europe next year. In my opinion probably the best Heavy Metal band playing today.

If you thought that in order to play metal you needed to wear black, chains, piercing, tattoos, make ugly faces, do drugs and drink lots of beer or alcohol, well, then you’re totally wrong.

I don't think I appreciated how absolutely bonkers this song is when I saw them in Tokyo last fall. I'm looking forward to fixing that next week in Dallas.
There's actually a video of them from the present world tour, I believe in Strasbourg, where they just stroll around on the streets, get some ice cream, and they look just like your typical silly happy young Japanese ladies. Incognito, because nobody knows they are the Metal Queens. Just search for Lovebites Strasbourg, it's in Japanese, with pretty terrible English subtitles.
Millie should take a look at The Flame by Cheap Trick and Cuts You Up by Peter Murphy. As a bassist, Millie will wet herself with the bass performance in Cuts You Up.

I saw them in Lindau, Germany on June 18th. After the show, meet and great and taking pictures and a little small talk. Something to never forget.
Was at that show in London . Was epic. Hopefully they ar back on Europe soon. Bucket list to see them live in Tokyo next time.
