When I get junk out of the hole I always go over with the detector just in case the junk is masking a good signal. I love my Nox800. I am looking for a backup machine
Thanks for the info William. I can never remember the difference between Sterling and 925. I guess there isn't anything to remember. Do you know when the switch from marking "coin silver" to "sterling" to "925"?

Me too. My first silver on camera was a 50 cent piece hiding in a hole with a nail.
sterling is 92.5 silver so its 925 Awesome pendent, congratulations on the large cent .
