Shane was a realistic character, a good gunslinger as well as a strong man but at the same time a fool who if he hadn't been nervous and had relations with Rick's wife, I'm sure he would have made it to the last season.

I started the walking dead a few days ago. Immediately fell in love with shane. His death had me feel EMPTY dude, I'm on s3 now and I can't stop thinking "what would have happened here if shane was still alive" it's painful I miss him man

@@shark_shield2518 yeah man, I wish he was there the whole time. I'm on s4e12 and I still miss him like hell 😭 he just stuck with me I seriously got incredibly attached to shane and no one else is the same. Jon Bernthal is an incredible actor
I get that, but he was legit a problem though. He tried to kill Rick 3 different times, tried emotionally messing with Lori, killed Randall and Odis and lied to the group. At least Rick was honest the next day with the group about killing Shane.

Shane is honestly one of my favs. He was ready for the apocalypse before everyone else was, already thinking straight and making good decisions. The worst decision for him was his obsession with Lori and wanting to kill rick cause of her

If Shane hadn’t had his obsession with lori and didn’t die he would have most definitely been the best character in the show next to Rick and Daryl.Shane was ahead of the curve so far everyone thought he was crazy

Shane snapped/broke almost immediately
TV Shane was definitely way more hardened and ruthless. It really felt like he saw the way things were way before anyone else and was willing to adapt to the new world. Makes me want a 'What If?' type story where Shane successfully usurped Rick

He was arrogant, entitled, impulsive, and bitter. Those negative qualities drove him mad to the point where it got him killed.
