Once again proving that tender, tasty ribs don't have to be burnt on a grill. I love grilled food, but i find that I enjoy the ribs better when they're not dried out in a grill or a pan in the name of charbroiled or roasted. A quick searing in the pan and then a slow cook in a sealed container (with seasoning) in a hot logic oven will bring out the best in any meat you cook. Keep inspiring us with your recipes, Kathy.
Use jerk seasoning on the ribs and cinnamon/sugar on the potatoes. The last hour of cooking pour your favorite cooking wine over everything. Delicious!
Your husband has such a good sense of humor I love the way that he is as far as how he talks about the food the jokes that he crack I'm sure he has you laughing every day that is a wonderful thing....
I HAVE BAD TEETH, IT LOOKS LIKE THOSE ARE VERY TENDER.. I BOUGHT THE CASSEROLE SIZE AND PLAN TO DO COUNTRY STYLE RIBS.. I ALSO BOUGHT SOME "LARGE" SLOW COOKER LINERS.. I KNOW THEY ARE DESIGNED FOR A CROCK POT BUT THE DIMENSIONS ON BOX APPEAR THAT THEY MAY WORK... I'M LAZY SO EASY CLEANUP IS A PLUS... LOVE BOTH YOUR VIDS.. TY FOR MAKING IT EASY FOR THIS NEWBIE CHEF.
They must love their food partially dehydrated, because that's what a microwave does basically. When the food is struck by the microwaves inside the oven, it quickly heats up the water in the food. When water is heated, it turns to steam. Since the steam is not contained in the food during this process, the steam dissipates, thereby drying the food affected by the waves. That's why some foods taste terrible in the microwave. It's up to 3 dislikes to 67 likes out of 413 views. The dislikers obviously have no taste, because if they had a hot logic oven, they'd convert. BTW I'm one of the likers. You and Rick are what's right about You Tube.
Duke Togo....I don't think thumbs down has anything to do with the wonderful food Kathy (or to the other channel owners) makes, I think it is a thumbs down mentality! It's just the most negative thing they can do besides writing a negative comment. I think FINALLY/hopefully YT is trying to do something about trollism! Or the channel owner is deleting them....Yeah! I wish they would just take the thumbs down off! Who cares if someone doesn't like it! LOL Judie
I usually don't have to clean it off, unless moisture leaks from a loose lid or foil that isn't sealed tightly. I sometimes peek in while it's cooking and it might allow some moisture to drip down the sides of the dish. The only idea I have is to make sure the lid or cover is a tightly sealed. Enjoy your hot logic and enjoy experimenting!
They are really nice and convenient. Until you get one, use a crock pot for these recipes, if you have one. Just keep it on the low settings for similar results. Thanks for watching!
It heats up great, but it lacks some safety feathers. Like a pilot light for power on, auto shut off for overheating. You just have to keep an eye on it. Other then that it heats and cooks well.
Can you tell us how long to cook different food in each episodes? That would help. At least for the hard of hearing people. Put in some kind of subtitle in there. Great show!
the sweet potatoes need salt and pepper but other than that it looks like it would be one of my favorite dishes so I am going to make it for sure! 😋 I can't find the A1 dry rubs up here so I'm going to have to hit up Amazon again.
Ok, I'm glad you're going to try the recipe. The A1 rub has enough salt and pepper in it, so you don't really need to add any. Thanks for watching, Elizabeth!

Whoever thumbs downed this video must be a microwave connoisseur. 😂
Can't wait to try this Kathy!
Maybe so. Always wonder what brings that on. LOL
It's not microwave enthusiasts. It's those damn vegans.

I have a mini hot logic and it seems like I have to clean the hot plate off every time I use it... Is this a normal problem?

Kathy, how thick were your sweet potato slices? Half inch? Less?
wow that looks so tender!
Looks delicious - must try this!

A pilot light? It ises electricity not gas.

Thank you! Rick ate the sweet potatoes too, but really enjoyed the meat. lol

How long did you cook them? I didn't get soft potatoes.
Looks gawjus Kathy, Don't like sweet potato though. Any alternative you could suggest? 👍👍
What are you going to use the sauce for?
this is such a neat device...thank you so much for sharing....:)
Hot Logic would be good for traveling but when eating at home, what is the difference in putting the pan in your oven on low and using the Hot Logic?
That’s a great meal
Thanks, Kayla. Two for one, lol.
How do the potatoes turn out? I didn't think they recommended potatoes, to be cooked in the Hot Logic.
Looks good. Nice couple.

Thank you for your comment. I'll do better with that going forward. I was intending to add the written cooking instructions in the description box.
