I was on the fence about buying one, but after seeing this video I am now convinced that I should get it. Thank you for your great, simple cooking videos!!
Mines came out great. I mixed in seasons , onions, garlic and bell peppers inside of my ground beef. And I used the big mama hot logic bag and I also used two types of Prego sauces one of them had 4 cheeses. Thank You!
Thanks, your code is still working and they have a great end of year sale on!! 2 minis for $49.99 minus $9.99 from your code and it's only $39.99 for 2. You can't beat it. That lasagna looks great too.
I must say that at first I was a bit dubious about its cooking capabilities. However I tried cooking a Lasagna using Ricks recipe but with minor changes, I used fresh Lasagna sheets. Added mushrooms, eggs with the Ricotta, cut up beef sausages and cooked it in the Mini oven for 7 hours. Well I must say that it was cooked to perfection and just delicious. Cannot way to cook another one. Many thanks Rick for your recipes and suggestions.
I just recently discovered Rick's channel and I've enjoyed a bunch of his videos. A common criticism I've read and noticed is that Rick doesn't really season his food but he always covers himself by saying something like, "do it as you like it." 😁 Also what a cool little oven!
I use this in my company daily, works fantastic!!! Much better than eating out everyday. If I'm out more than one day, I pack a cooler with a few more pre prepped Pyrex dished entrees for the next couple days. Good piece of kit.
Great idea and those no boil noodles were the perfect size. I think I will try this and the only thing I might change is kinda cheesy. In that I would put full slices of mozzarella or provolone on the top layer. I love that layer of melted cheese on top.
I've made this twice already in my HotLogic. I added a little fennel seed and diced 'shrooms to my ground beef too. It turned out awesome ! Thanks Rick ;)
I probably started it in the morning around 8 or 9. I'd have to watch it again too, it's been a while since this video. The usual time is 2 to 4 hours but it will stay the perfect temperature all day. Thanks for watching.
+Rick Mammana So, How long did ya let yours go for that day? Hours wise? It smells heavenly! I did peak, but don't want to keep opening, so it retains the heat. Probably won't try anything as complicated next time.
Thanks! Yes I will. Here is my playlist of 81 ideas for the Hotlogic. Hot Logic Personal Portable Oven: th-cam.com/play/PLXR5NwSN71WlH6jdkmVj552GSjtSLY-m7.html
I just tried a 12 oz mason jar laying down and it fit, it looks like you could get a 16 oz jar in there sideways and zip it closed, with the lid on of course.
Hi, I have the HL mini with 6 cup included Pyrex, and am wanting to make lasagna. Your container looks so much bigger than mine. Are u using a 6 cup or is it a different size? Thanks, and love your videos
I'm curious. Have you ever tried making pizza in a mini? I wouldn't think it would get hot enough for a crispy crust. I've seen it suggested to use a portobello cap, but wondering if a premade crust would work.
swanjame I should of read down more to see the answer about the noodles so sorry. But can you freeze your left overs in this and then put it in the hot logic and defrost and rewarm it, or will the water from defrosting mess it up?, meaning the warming pad inside?
just curious what kind of job you do? seems to be similar crazy hours.like my husband. yes, I like garlic! sorry you had to ask twice! lol. this is again an older video but I've been binge watching since I got my electric pressure cooker! looks yum!
+Evil Queen Hey thanks for binge watching! I am a mechanic in a very stressful, dirty, fast paced production factory. I'm thankful for my job though. Thanks Again! I'm glad you like watching. :)
Rick, have a few questions about this gadget. It says it can’t boil water so can you cook rice and angel hair pasta in it? I would like to add one of those sides to a pot roast or pork chops. The angel hair requires water, milk and butter. Do you add a smaller amount of those ingredients? I tried it but I think I used too much water and milk and it got soggy. The pasta dissolved from noodle consistency to a mush with lots of liquid butter and milk over it. Have you tried to make stuffed jalapenos in it? I thought about spraying pam on the pyrex and then slicing out the seeds and adding cream cheese and then wrapping it with bacon. The bacon and pepper needs to get crispy so will it work? Lastly, when you make the lasagna have you tried mixing the ricotta cheese with mozzarella cheese, egg and a couple pinches of nutmeg. The nutmeg gives it a robust taste. I suppose, to keep it simple, you could just sprinkle nutmeg on the cheese directly from the container and spread it on. Thanks for any advice you may have and your informative videos.
+Lillie Franklin Hi, Well it only gets to 185 degrees so it won't boil pasta, I used the no bake lasagna noodles they worked good. I didn't try jalpenos. The bacon won't get crispy, maybe fry it first? When you cook at first it's an experiment, it's mostly for heating food up or used as a slow cooker. :) I'm still learning more about it. :)
Like 4 - 5 hours...I would connect it in the morning and eat during lunch time... It also depend what type of container you have.. If you have a pyrex glass container it's faster because it has a lower specific heat vs a plastic container. I have had a great expirience with this hotlogic lunch box to the point I just bought a HotLogic400 can't waint to get it tomorrow
+Abel Rodriguez Hi, I'm glad you liked it. Yeah you can cook just about anything in there. Here's some breakfast th-cam.com/video/ff7wdTF6f-I/w-d-xo.html
Hmm. I just ordered one of these so I could heat up my lunch at work. Now I might have to order another one to be cooking my dinner at home while I'm at work.
That's great! They are amazing, we use them 3 or 4 times a week. Hopefully you used the discount code and the link in the description below the video to save some money! :) Thanks for watching!
@@RickMammana I wish I had seen the discount code before I ordered my first one. But at least now I know where to look if I order a second one. Thanks for the video!
Just used mine today. Wrapped up 2 hot dogs in aluminum foil. By the time lunch hit I had a nice hot hot dog and soft hot dog buns. Use the heck out of that thing.
I don't believe it would bake a cake as it gets to a temperature comparable to the low setting of a slow cooker. But it will thoroughly cook meals from frozen. It is an amazing cooking gadget. Thanks for watching!
Rick, I know that you like you like these recipes like you make them, but you need more sauce over that lasagna. Google some of these recipes before you make them.. a lot of people are looking for seasonings, flavor, and easy preparation from beginning to end. Love your videos, but check out the spice section in your store.

The best lasagna I've seen and stayed together! I think it was your layering logic! Well Done!
+SimonaLyne Enderz Thanks! It was so delicious! :)
What a great idea! That's a hell of a great idea. I'm going to have to try that out. Thanks for the awesome vid.
+Ed Jr. Sure You're Welcome! It is the coolest!
you sold me a hotlogic mini with this video! and now I also have the 9x13! love watching your videos!
I use this in my company daily, works fantastic!!! Much better than eating out everyday. If I'm out more than one day, I pack a cooler with a few more pre prepped Pyrex dished entrees for the next couple days. Good piece of kit.
Company van.
+jsj297 Great! That's what it's best for!
I tried a Stoffer’s cheese lasagna in my Hot Logic mini, looked too perfect to eat. Should try it

+Suzanne Jackson Mmmm. I'm ready to make this again!
Very helpful thanks for posting!
Exciting to see your Hot Logic in action. Rick Mammana for President: Wake Up and Have Some!
+Kevin Hotaling Oh Yes! Thank you very much! :)
I've made this twice already in my HotLogic. I added a little fennel seed and diced 'shrooms to my ground beef too. It turned out awesome ! Thanks Rick ;)

Did I miss the part about how long it cooked? I know that you work at 4 p.m. but I'm not sure when you plugged it in.

GOOD JOB THANKS.
Thank you for watching!
I can't wait to get mine! Suppose to be here Tuesday, the 26th. I really wanna try the lasagna first.
+michael white It should be good! :)
+Rick Mammana I'm making lasagna in mine today. Going now. I'll let ya know how it turns out. Thanks for all your videos, and inspiration!

+michael white If I remember right 5 or 6 hours, cause i slept. As long as the pasta is soft it will be good!
His commentary is fricking HILARIOUS! 😩😂😂😂
+CLAWZGALAW Thank you very much! :)
Can’t find code, I signed up,but no code Help

"Can you warm up 8oz-16oz mason jars in this? Refridgerated or frozen? Would you leave the lid on tight, loose, or take it off?"
Hi, I'm not sure if a jar that size would fit in there. The inside is only about 3 inches high.
maybe lay it down
in dish
Yeah maybe lay it down. :)
I just tried a 12 oz mason jar laying down and it fit, it looks like you could get a 16 oz jar in there sideways and zip it closed, with the lid on of course.
Honestly I had my doubts there for a minute! Great video! I just might need one of these for work myself! Thanks Rick!
+Mary Walker Thanks! Yeah try one, very handy and I use it most every week. Thanks for watching!
lasagna looks fabulous!!
+Cat Thanks! :)
I will be the proud owner of a hot logic mini soon. I drive a big truck. I will definitely try to make Lasagna, awesome job Rick!
+Jurgen Ries Oh you are gonna love it!
Hi, I have the HL mini with 6 cup included Pyrex, and am wanting to make lasagna. Your container looks so much bigger than mine. Are u using a 6 cup or is it a different size? Thanks, and love your videos
Hi, That is the 6 cup in this video. Maybe the camera makes it look bigger? Anyway I'm glad you like watching! Thank you!
I'm curious. Have you ever tried making pizza in a mini? I wouldn't think it would get hot enough for a crispy crust. I've seen it suggested to use a portobello cap, but wondering if a premade crust would work.
+Micah Holt you're right it wouldn't get crispy.
Did you say those were no cook noodles?
+Tender Heart No boil. Yes.
How does the no-boil pasta compare with boil pasta? Is it al dente?
Jim
+swanjame It seems exactly the same to me.
Thanks!
Jim
swanjame I should of read down more to see the answer about the noodles so sorry. But can you freeze your left overs in this and then put it in the hot logic and defrost and rewarm it, or will the water from defrosting mess it up?, meaning the warming pad inside?
Tender Heart-

I would reheat it in a pyrex container big enough to contain the liquid.
Will the hot logic mini brown the meat?
No it gets as hot as a slow cooker.
Can it cook hamburger from raw?
Yes but it will take a while as it gets up to the temperature of a slow cooker on low. Thanks for watching!
Can't wait for u to wake up so we can see the results!!!!

Thanks! :):)
Can you make ramen noodles in the Hot Logic Mini?
+Chuck Esterbrook Hmmm, I'm not sure I'll have to try it. I guess if it's in there long enough it should work.
You can definitely make some ramen... I've tried it... The noodles look more puffier when warming it on the hotlogic compared to the microwave
How long did you have them in there?
Like 4 - 5 hours...I would connect it in the morning and eat during lunch time... It also depend what type of container you have.. If you have a pyrex glass container it's faster because it has a lower specific heat vs a plastic container. CAN YOU COOK GRITS IN THE HOTLOGI
Instant grits yes, but not from scratch as they need to boil. This doesn't get hot enough to boil. Thank you for watching!
i clapped when i saw how it came out lol. Can you do breakfast foods too? lol

+frontcentermusician Yup Sounds Great! I use it a lot too!
So this would be a great recipe using a crockpot?
Moon Dancer Yeah maybe. It might be hard to scoop out of a crock pot. But it should be real good.
Excellent Lasagna recipe man, looks very good 😄
+lovedasticks Thanks!
Nice looking lasagna! How long did it take in the Hot Logic mini?
+Dejacks I forget I'll have to watch again and see what I said. :) Thanks
so you can't have rare beef you have to cook it first?
+Chris Sucharda No we cook frozen meat in there too. Just takes longer.
Rick Mammana Don't worry about those 8 thumbs down Rick, they are just jeleous because they can't make a Lasagna as good as you can.
i think it's better to put the meat already cooked because you seasoned it when you cook it
Now that's lasagna Kemosabe or maybe Injun Joe. Yum yum eatem up. I'm gonna look into one of those cookers. I wonder if it will cook meat from raw.
+jonnyboat2 uh huh....yeah I cooked chicken and a few things from raw. I have a few videos on here with that!
YOU ~ ROCK ! !
+fireside007 Thanks! U2
Looks useful
+TheRocket19 It sure is!
how long does it cook for?
5 or 6 hours.
thank you
The coupon is still good. 😉 Thanks for sharing.
It sure is! Thank you very much!
How bout cake sir?
It wouldn't get hot enough to bake a cake. It's temperature is like the low setting on a slow cooker. Thanks for watching!
I just wanted to make sure...that was a 8 hour cook time, yes (?)
Yeah probably, if I said that. It was a while ago so I don't remember. I'll watch it again. :) :)
@@RickMammana Yes 8hrs you said it was 8am and you woke up at 4
Highly impressive, I like lasagna, Lana is half Italian, Sicilian Italian that is, I would like to cook this with her.
Lasagna is the best! Thanks for watching!
Ah ha went for the Mohawk!

Why does nobody ever season anything jesus christ that looks bland
Huh? No. Huh? The sauce and cheese probably add plenty of sodium.
