Thank you SO much I just ordered a mini to use in my van. I was watching all these videos where people were cooking frozen prepared meals and heating up canned food in it but I wanted to know but can I cook a meal from scratch and you have answered my question thanks! Can you tell me how many watts the bigger casserole size hot logic uses?
Got this cooking in my Hot Logic right now. Can't wait to get out of work so I can go home and dig in. Thank You, to you and Rick, for all the fun videos and great recipes to be made in our many gadgets!
Hmm, I wonder if we have those peppers here. Cannot wait to try this recipe. Simple, quick, and looks delicious. Thank you, Kathy, for another fabulous recipe idea. Keep 'em coming.
The peppers are not available in my area but I have loaded my Hot Logic Family Size with this meal today. Thank you, Kathy for your videos and blog. I found you and Rick when searching for Instant Pot tutorials. Keep them coming! And yes, I used Rick's code to buy my family size (refurbished). I didn't know about your code. I'll use it for the next one.
Good question, Callie. I used regular uncooked noodles which would cook rather quickly, so it was ok for the hot logic. However, a better choice would have been the Ready Pasta precooked noodles. That's what I would use next time I make the recipe. Thanks for commenting!
This one pan meal looks so delicious!!! Love no fuss meals like this. Going to look for those peppers at our market, they are beautiful! Thanks for the share. 😊👍
Did the noodle come out soggy or mushy? I know egg noodles cook so fast so would you recommend a different type noodle? Or if i used rice would it work?sorry learning how to use mine
Hi Kathy, I love your channel.. I don’t have a hot Logic. So could you please let me know what temperature to cook this recipe and for how long. Many Thanks
i was going to suggest that the noodles be on top rather the bottom. I noticed in the video that the noodles looked mushed. Other then that the meal looks very edible.
I hope you could get them where you live. I agree with your feelings about red peppers. And they are packed with nutrients too! Thanks for commenting on my video!
Debbie Ashton They are raw, uncooked, frozen individually. Very convenient for making different amounts of servings. I find them packaged by Perdue or Tyson.
No I am not concerned, I use the hot logics a couple times a week. The hot logic is set up to cook like a low setting on a crock pot which is a food safe temperature. You can learn about it on their website: hotlogicmini.com/
Cool recipe, I get up earlier than you and wish I looked as good as you! Just a compliment hope ya know how i feel! It's hard getting up that early and I give you credit for how you can do it! Great show love you and god bless amen!
Hey I lost my family along time ago. That was out of my poor families way of life. I'm here and happy to be me. I would love to give you recipes to help your channel. I've learned a lot by being on my own. I just want to say again thank you for you're vids. You guys make me feel like I have a family! Much love to you and rick! ✌️
Where is the cheese? Something white and creamy, like Swiss or Baby Swiss cheese, or Provolone would have been a good addition as well. Maybe some bacon or ham bits would have really set this dish off too ;-) Just a suggestion... It just seems to be rather bland.
Why is it that so many of your recipes have so much liquid in them? The end result is often swimming in thin goop that doesn't look developed enough to use as a sauce or gravy. With chicken in particular, these days supermarket chicken casts off huge amount of liquid when cooked. On the stovetop, I have to either empty it out or turn the heat way up to boil it off, or all my food will just steam or boil ... the least tasty and nutrient-preserving ways of cooking chicken.
I sometimes use a lot of liquid in this low-temperature slow-cooking method so that the heat transfers to the items at the top of the container quickly for food safety. Also, I love the broth-type liquid at the end for use in leftover dishes which could be used, for example, over rice or noodles. Thanks for commenting. I always encourage people to use the ideas they might like and adjust the recipes to the way they prefer to eat.

Jessica Dailey
Thank you. They had a lot of flavor. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Lol, I think Rick would have liked it to be covered in cheese......sounds good to me
Debbie Ashton
Oh yes, he probably would have thought that would be even better.
In panic mode: "Is there any meat in there?" Finds chicken and all is well.
Hahaha, yes, I like the way you put it into words!

Thanks so much! You noticed I made a big batch to make sure I got some when I got home too, lol.

Thank you, Robin! Enjoy the recipe! Im glad youre watching our videos.
Were those noodles the "no boil" or "no bake" type of noodle?

@@kathyottersen8100 Thank you! I love your innovative recipes.

I was thinking about rice, too. I think with the hot logic you will have to use the quick cooking rice that is sold at the store.
Going to try ! May also try with rice instead of noodles & add water chestnuts. Terriyaki sauce might be very t asty too 🌺🌴
Man does that look delicious Kathy savory and sweet.
Cookingwith Rick Thanks, it was a good combination.
Hi Kathy, I love your channel.. I don’t have a hot Logic. So could you please let me know what temperature to cook this recipe and for how long. Many Thanks
That looks incredible!
I bet one of those boneless pork chops would be good too.
Right, that would be a nice alternative for this recipe! I like the way you think!
I made this yesterday but the noodles were very soggy, I think I will add less vegetable broth next time, what do you think?
Cecile Corson
Sure, you could add less or adjust the amount of time that its cooking.
OK thank you

We are in the middle of Hurricane Harvey here in Houston. Not using the Hot Logic because I don't know when we will lose power.
Debbie Reeves we are ok, but the rain just keeps coming.
Laura Moseley
Thanks, Laura. We are praying for your safety.
I love red peppers, they add flavour and colour to all my meals. I wonder if we can get those ones here in Australia. Would love to try them.
I hope you could get them where you live. I agree with your feelings about red peppers. And they are packed with nutrients too! Thanks for commenting on my video!

Kathy, are the chicken tenderloins cooked already.....we don't get these here, in Montreal, as far as I know.
Debbie Ashton

Yummy Kathy thanks for the recipe.
Thanks so much for the nice comment.
THAT LOOKS SO YUMMY !
Thanks, I'm glad you liked the recipe.
Aren't you concerned with the chicken not coming up to temp fast enough cooking from frozen on essentially a warming plate?
+Narfle Jessut
No. She's not concerned. Any more questions?

A tip. Metal foil is toxic and over the years has been shown to contribute to memory loss and joint failure.
Have you made this using rice? Yeah, looks mighty fine.
Noodles, turned to mush. Rice may be a better choice
That looked so gooood!!!
I had to watch it twice!!!✌
Did i say twice!!! Lol. I going to try this recipe with beef ribs!! Thanks for the video!
this is good the peppers Kyle has tried them
Looks delicious. Tfs

Did you hide Ricks garlic?
Shhhh, it's in the back of the refrigerator with that nasty horseradish. lol
I sure don't think she just fixed that just for you.
