    One thing to note though, be VERY careful if you run Peer. Bowmasters is now a staple in any deck with black, and people will often hold it if they know you're running Peer just for the fact that if they flash it in just as your Peer is resolving, you straight up lose, they damage the other guy with the excess, and they get a 30/30 army to hit the next dude.

      Id make two deck lists like the death star once the playgroup catches on switch it up

    Nice. I like the mid-range strategy yhis guy has to offer. The plan to essentially discsrd, draw 4 cards can be pretty good. I think I saw a cedh tv video where someone got a orc army to a 18/18 on one go around with sauron on the battlefield. Now thats a chonkie army

      @PubStompMTG  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Yeah, the orc army can get absolutely out of hand! I've seen those numbers in many games. It's quite crazy!

      @@PubStompMTG which is kinda flavorful. The more opponent play their hand, the growth of saurons army gets. His army extracts information for him to draw a new set of cards. Very cool

    Are their other win cons in the deck that aren’t a Thassa’s focused?

    • @PubStompMTG
      @PubStompMTG  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      This is mainly Underworld Breach + LED + Brain Freeze due to Saurons ability to fill the Graveyard. But other than that, yes thats the main wincon

    I’m here bc I’m tired of ppl wasting my very fair and casual Sauron deck(seriously I made it very easy to interact with) and I’m done. If ppl are gonna hate on it I’m gonna hate harder😂

    i think the deck needs and alternate way to crack and use a doomsday pile so that it isn't a dead card when you can't get tempted. Apart from that im definitely going to try it out.

    • @PubStompMTG
      @PubStompMTG  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Of course, I agree. Its just one way to crack the doomsday pile with just the commander specifically.

    Love the deck tech, but your Mulligans are a little "purposeless." I find that if you're going to demo mulligans for people, have a specific pod in mind, and actually demonstrate what going to 5-6. Just refreshing your 7 with a vague strategy in mind does nobody want favors.
    Great video, but Mulligans need more specificity to be useful.

      Thanks for the suggestion! It's the first time I showcased mulligans. Next time when I make a cedh deck tech, Ill keep this in mind! Thank you for the feedback. It will be noted!

    cEDH is such a funny term. Besides the term being oxymoronic, it's plain incorrect.
    There are actually "competitive" formats that are sanctioned, EDH is not one of them.
    What's more, "cEDH" should be renamed to "fast-mana-jank" because that's really all it is.

    • @PubStompMTG
      @PubStompMTG  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Okay?

      @zackaryshebetka2611 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Playing cedh, yes it can definitely be that way no argument there, but the meta keeps changing and the meta is changing to go on the slower side, look at many cards that are getting bigger such as seedborn muse or just staxs that keep the game going for more than like 2-4 turns. Also on that, just gotta play people that play interaction

    • @Milohenry13
      @Milohenry13 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I'm a language guy. And using this word "competitive," to explain what optimized 4-player decks really are, gets to me. If players want to use the term "competitive" to describe an MTG format that they play, then they should play a format that actually fits the description. Usually the format is 1v1 (there's literary an EDH format for this, and yes, it's actually "competitive.")
      And the most important part, that I think is completely missed by most players, (especially "cEDH players") is that there should be a comprehensive ban list. It's ridiculous, people calling this thing "competitive," while operating under a casual unchecked ban list. It's ridiculous. There's a reason why healthy real competitive formats have their own ban list. Here's the easy solution, cEDH players - break away with a REAL ban list and hold tournaments. If the "cEDH" community doesn't do that, I will never take them seriously AND continue to stomp their decks with my "janky no-fast-mana" decks @@zackaryshebetka2611

      @zackaryshebetka2611 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Milohenry13 what do you define as competitive, as in cedh you’re still trying to beat the other 3 players, as that adds in the element of politics and other cards that normally wouldn’t see as much play. Sorry you don’t like the ban list, no fast mana, nor the aspect of cedh, but those are just things of commander in general. I do 100% respect your opinion and understand that you don’t like cedh, but for others like me, I still find cedh really enjoyable. I do have my own issues that are a lot different from yours.
