amass orc has a text saying "it's also an orc." which can. turn a zombie army into an orc in addition to it which can bring awesome combos from zombie cards that work around it.
I looked at the madness cards but there aren't a lot worth adding... I haven't gone through all the flashback, escape, and aftermath cards yet, but I don't have a lot of slots left to fill in my deck
Hey man I made this deck had the same idea- worldgorger dragon combo gives lethal to opponents with one ring to rule them all and fires of mount doom to name a couple more LoTRs cards
I don't mind this version of Sauron we got but I have 2 main gripes with it from a lore stand point. 1, He should have menace(or hell bring back fear just for him), he is despair incarnate, he strikes fear in men just in his mere presence. And 2, why would Sauron be tempted by the ring? The One Ring is his, its a piece of his being. I suppose the idea is supposed to be him offering one of the Rings of Power but still, feels alittle week lore wise.
Yeah, I definitely can agree. Most things they have done don't make too much sense with the lore. I just take it as WOTCs version of fan-fiction. I just kinda take it for surface value tbh.
“The Ring Tempts You” is just the name of the mechanic for game purposes. It’s got nothing to do with the lore. And he does strike fear into opponents, they literally can’t even target him without making a legendary sacrifice.
Thanks, I appreciate it! The ones i would probably cut down would be some of the counterspells here and there. Also, maybe some of the mana rocks like the talismans
I wanna build this but I feel Bel La Kor is just better than Sauron. Easy demon theme and just reanimate them via discard cards and pop off with that commander with draw and demon warstorm triggers.
I feel like both of them are doing different things tbh. Belakor is dealing damage, while Sauron is more aristocrats with making army tokens. But they do both draw cards in their own way
By any chance would you be able to post the original list aswell? I'm moving my Sauron Deck a little bit away from cedh and you original list had some key elements.

You can also use phyrexian altar and a lot of 1 mana disruption spells since trying to stop you will just amass 1 again repeating the process.

Nice! I saw on your list that you put in doomsday. That works out kinda nice with sauron drawing 4 cards

Orcish bowmasters works with worldgorger dragon because when it enters the battlefield, it deals one damage to any target
