Coming up to Yarmouth this coming weekend …. Can’t bloody wait!!!!! Have you ever been in “The Empire” bar/Diner/cocktail bar/music venue? Looks lovely inside. Could be a good place for my 22 year old son and his mates to go in the evening, in search of a tipple, some fodder, some music and some señouritas !
Yeah been in there a few times.. there also a club on the end of the pier that’s open till 4am on weekends.. well let’s hope you do better than me with the fishing..👌
Yeah I’ve tried them loads in the past but I’ve never caught on the heads.. I think we could have had a 100 metre fishing net that day and we still wouldn’t have caught..lol..

Hard luck Dave it seems to be very hit and miss at the moment I fished south Whales earlier in the week one day you couldn't keep a bait in the water for five minutes without getting a bite next day no bites in six hours . when you fish Devon try to do nights when you can as days very slow if its possible tight lines all
Funny how it's like that down there one day fish a chuck next day nowt where did all the dog fish go🤔no whiting either funny that never mind Dave even Brett blanked on his latest escapade so not just you always another day good luck 😁👍
It's the northerly swell on the sea. There are rough seas and there are rolling seas and they can fish very differently. Dogs and whiting will move out on a rolling sea untll it settles down again. Best target is bass when its like that but hounds can also show. Back in the day spring codling would have been the main target in a sea like that.
Hi dave , know u goin down south soon , prob be smart to get as much info on rigs and bait before u go so u maximise your chances in the species hunt, I fished down there a couple of times using rigs and stuff I would use on our beaches , caught very little , it's just a thought, all the best .

Dave.. those squid heads can be a deadly dogfish bait. One or two on a 1/0 , saves a blank 😉

Been 3 times in the last week or so I’ve had 1 small ray. No bites or nothing. It’s been absolutely dead in Clacton 👍🏻👍🏻
Yeah I think May is a very hit or miss month unfortunately
I did have shock leader mate the top eye was rough so everytime I relled in it was tearing the line

If you turn up at the beach with only bits of squid, you’re always gonna struggle for bites mate.
Kyle has fresh lug and peeler aswell and like us had no bites.. it was just one of them days of no fish around..👎🏻
