This lad never interrupts his guests, he lets them open up and never judges anyone. I have said it before and I will say it again, James is the best podcast around and deserves above the million subscribers mark and more. ♥️ the lad.
“Respect” what are you talking about? He’s an ex criminal… he doesn’t deserve one ounce of respect! The bloke who goes to work every morning and keeps his head down deserves your respect! Not criminals like this old chancer!
A giant of a man. I came across Chris in the mid 90s where he’d had a couple of interviews on main stream media. I can remember him talking about his conversion in a cell when he saw the devil of his own making in the mirror. All the evil he’d done up to that point. That was the catalyst for change and how different he’s turned out. So powerful and inspiring. Thanks James.
so much respect for Chris ! I suffer with mental health problems an heroin an alcohol addiction . An a kind word an some compasion really does lift ya spiriits. God bless you mate
Yes Kev, it's what separates him from the rest. Its about his guests not him. Always asks the right questions at the same time as well. Makes interviewing looks easy.
Top notch!. Chris is one of those rare, old skool characters. And how good does he look for 80?!?!. Glad he found some peace and happiness. Cheers James
I read his book when I was locked up in Feltham as a juvenile, went to Coldingley prison like him also as an adult (all on the same long sentence) have found God since and have never been happier or looked back. Wish this fella the continuous happiness in his life. 🙏🏽 Crime doesn't pay and you don't just hurt yourself it's generations there after. Another great interview Anytime Goes 👍
I class myself a hard strong man and I was in tears listening to the end of this interview. I lost my dad recently and also found love and it just melted me and I feel no shame in saying that. He is a true man and I have so much respect for him. I dedicated the last 20 yrs of my life re housing and working with ex offenders and I relate to so much he said.

What an amazing story of the Gospel of Free and Sovereign Grace. A great example for young kids who are trying to break free from the bondage of crime and gangs.
I says I'll give this 10 minutes, almost 90 minutes later still lying here . Brilliant. What a different insight into the twins . This man was the real deal in his day and love how he uses his experience to help others . Best one yet Jamie , sorry James lol . Different Class . Loved it

One of the best you have done JE, what an honest reflection from Chris, a man who admits he was wrong and tries to help others as some sort of repentance. Fair play to the big guy.
Well done James English! I've been watching lots of these whilst being furloughed. This interview in particular is spectacular and brought a tear to my eye. What an incredible interview. I'm not normally into listening to an ex- gangster harping on about the good old days anymore I've heard and read enough about them, but this was totally different. I have the utmost respect for Chris, an absolute gentleman I felt humbled. This will stay with me And well done, James. Great work.
Really enjoyed this interview! Chris is a stand up gent, you can tell he doesn’t think much of the Krays. I found it very poignant as to how he described not snitching, it isn’t about the other people, it’s about your character and maintaining the value of your word, some lessons that our generation today would do well to take away. Thanks very much both of you.
He wasn't very well liked back in the day, he often tried using the Krays names in jail in the early days to get his respect, and it backfired on him on at least on ocassion that I heard of. And he lied about it in his book.. saying he deliberately through his tea on someone, which was a lie. He apollogised to Doughie Parks saying how it was an accident. Doughie Parks was gunna rip him to pieces, but he shit himself apologising and so was let off.. But then told it like he was the big one in his book after in reality he shit himself. The guy was a mug.
Best interview I have ever seen from an ex gangster who turned his life around. This man was and is the real deal. He tells the truth with humility and explains why he became what he did, both as a gangster and a reformed man...from the Kray twins to jail to dylan and pink Floyd and eventually to the bible.... a stand up man in both lives he lived, very inspirational .
He knew when he lay the Bible against his heart that he had found something special, that brought tears of joy to my eyes. Chris Lambrianou what a lovely man, just listening to him talk is inspiring and his story certainly inspires change. This man is real McCoy! Great interview!

Whether people believe him or not this man found something while he was in prison that proved to be for the greater good of himself! You can’t talk the way he did without experiencing something and whether that was a ‘godly’ spirit or his own spirit he felt something! I could listen to Chris all day! One of the best, open interviews I’ve seen 🙏🏽
I've watched an endless amount of videos on Chris and he's such an inspiring and capturing character. Regardless of his past, he has managed to carve a career in helping others and the success of his work is worthy of an OBE. For an 80 yr old man he really is so sharp and articulate, I only wish he got more publicity for devoting his life to help others.
He wasn’t very popular in the underworld he had a reputation of being a big mouth. He’s helping others now that’s a good thing but all in all he must’ve cost the country and bleeding fortune keeping him in jail.

What a fantastic Podcast James this story is true reflection of misplaced loyalty and how situations can escalate very quickly and cause so much misery and pain for all involved. Great to see Chris has had a great life after Prison and still going strong at 80. Well Done James.

As well known ex criminals go, Chris Lambriano seems like a decent human being. He doesn't glorify his past, and he actually seems remorseful and embarrassed by his past criminal escapades. Many others like him, seem to revel in their past crimes, and although say they are remorseful, glorify their past but say they have no regrets. Wow what a great guy Chris is and such an interesting interview. Glad he turned his life around and has had a happy productive life. Looks absolutely fantastic for 80. Bless his ❤️💕
Chris has definitely hit the nail on the head with one point, and that is people only want to know him because of links with the Krays. I've observed that so many times over the years e.g. Facebook, notorious gangsters, their family/friends are inundated with friend requests only because of their links with a firm, not the actual person they are. Even to this day 'obsessive followers' think its so glamorous etc to be linked to folklore, they will do anything to link themselves with it.
First of all, James, well done for being the consumate professional here in not once interrupting your guest. Secondly, what a wonderful, and ultimately, contributor Chris was. I remain with mixed feelings over Chris's decision not to talk to the police back in 68, but much kudos to him for the good he has done helping others.

The best person for true-crime podcasts is James, learns everything about the guest. Attwood just wants the bad stories, all the crimes and couldn't care about the person's life and how the grew up. Keep up the great work James
Great interviewing as per 👍 Chris what a great talker and inspiration for folk that have come off their tracks a little. I bet your parents are bursting with pride at who you have become. Great stuff
My mum suffered the same racism in London, at the age of 10 +yrs of age, having an Irish accent. Similar situation, hearing another child's mother saying something on the lines of, "Ive told you not to play with her, SHE'S 'IRISH". My mother's father would accept every nationality.
You can tell by the words Chris uses that to describe people that he knew who the good eggs and the bad eggs were. The description of this video describes it perfectly the Krays empire was built on fear, not respect. Chris is a man who both crooks and coppers should respect because of the way he is as a human.
lovely man and so calm and centred because of finding God and peace. God bless him in his mission to change people for the better through his centre. Wishing him lots of luck in his work and helping people to transform for the better.

💯
Great shout
The best person for true-crime podcasts is James, learns everything about the guest. Attwood just wants the bad stories, all the crimes and couldn't care about the person's life and how the grew up.
Keep up the great work James
Atwood is a reptilian
Great interviewing as per 👍 Chris what a great talker and inspiration for folk that have come off their tracks a little. I bet your parents are bursting with pride at who you have become. Great stuff
Great Interview James. Very interesting story. I wish Chris all the best. It gives everybody hope for the future.
Brilliant interview and brilliant interviewer let’s him talk without interrupting 👍🏻
Thank you
My mum suffered the same racism in London, at the age of 10 +yrs of age, having an Irish accent. Similar situation, hearing another child's mother saying something on the lines of, "Ive told you not to play with her, SHE'S 'IRISH". My mother's father would accept every nationality.
The irish are fantastic 🍀
Smashing interview that mate. Much appreciated
👍🏼
Read his book years ago seems like a very genuine fella
What a wonderful and interesting interview!
Great interview James, top men Chris & Tony.
You can tell by the words Chris uses that to describe people that he knew who the good eggs and the bad eggs were.
The description of this video describes it perfectly the Krays empire was built on fear, not respect.
Chris is a man who both crooks and coppers should respect because of the way he is as a human.
as a younger brother this man is as solid as they come. Proper London lad off the manor.
Brilliant interview!
Brilliant podcast James. Really like this one. What a decent bloke
lovely man and so calm and centred because of finding God and peace. God bless him in his mission to change people for the better through his centre. Wishing him lots of luck in his work and helping people to transform for the better.

Excellent interview, really enjoyable listen. Great video

Another cracking interview, I’m hooked
What a fantastic interview james is naturally a very good interviewer the best I've seen as regards to big Chris he was as they say in jail one of the chaps a stand up old school villain who never ratted on anyone
Shocking but very interesting words and it's great that he has turned his life around and finally at peace in his life now
