We could easily have both Magneto actors playing Magneto characters from different universes. And the timelines do not have to be in sync, regarding dates folks. We could have a mutants saga with a young Professor X, etc. start up in universe 616 post-Avengers: Secret Wars... and just roll forward with all the beauty, relationships, and drama that the characters are fated to have. I.E The Mutants Saga.
All i know is I hope Gambit, whoever plays him, has a huge roll w comic accurate suit in any upcoming X-Men team!

I watched Dark Phoenix and my daughter who knows nothing about comics, liked it. It is not the comics story but still better than Last Stand.
Yes! It has some truly emotional scenes, just like Apocalypse.
It also isn't ableist against mentally ill people like Last Stand.

4:25 5:24 Apocalypse & Dark Phoenix definitely fell short of being great X-Men films, but they also weren't *that* bad tbh. There's still plenty of things to enjoy about both films imo, even if they were a bit of a mess lol.
Absolutely. Those movies have some of my favorite and most beautiful moments in any X-Men film.
Apocalypse is absolutely trash, and from what I’ve seen of dark Phoenix same goes for that one
'X-Men - Apocalypse' had Quicksilver Sweet Dreams scene, Wolverine Weapon-X scene, Magneto losing his family scene. It might've not been a good movie, but those scenes alone were worth it. Saddly, I can't say the same about 'X-Men - Dark Phoenix'.
I watched Dark Phoenix years after it came out. I was in a hotel flippping channels and it was starting on HBO. Out of curiosity I watched. It wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be.
I like it, it going to be two part but Fox Studio screw over the Director. Made it one movie.
I know they won't do this but I wish it was the same x-men from the 90s animated series. To see the full group together in colorful uniforms with the cast we love as the characters would be amazing

I'm sure we are going to see that but in the far future. Also seeing that team doesn't make sense from the start and it won't be as satisfying since the x Men had a loooong run of stories to get to the team of the animated series. It needs to be developed and fleshed out to get there and be meaningful. So it wouldn't be smart to start with that.

I wasn't prepared for the possibilities of a live-action X-Men Animated Universe adaptation but I'm here for it
Iman is one of the best things about post Endgame MCU.
I mean, technically Wolverine COULD still be the Fox variant, he was gifted the yellow outfit at the end of the wolverine after all, we just never seen him wear it.
So they're basically adapting the animated version of the X-Men, which, btw, I am HERE for!
I do think it will be the good future timeline with X-Men, X2, and Days of Future Past but with many iconic and comic accurate elements pulled in from TAS. One example is that Hank mentions Xavier who is off world in the animated series and Maria Rambeau is Captain Marvel/Binary while we know Carol Danvers is Ms. Marvel in the 90’s series
Do justice to Cyclops and I’m good with whatever they want to do for the X-Men in the MCU 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

I enjoyed Dark Pheonix! I was the only X movie that showed each mutant let lose powerwise when fighting.
Going into Deadpool 3 is going to be interesting and awesome because I feel like we're going to have a lot of questions answered!
Especially since Deadpool can look to the camera and directly answer questions.

I would love to see an ongoing X-Men series post Secret Wars. Something that exists in the MCU but isn’t so integral to the main plot of the universe. We need a series to let the soapy drama of the X-Men play out. It can exist along side X-Men films as well.
So basically trolls should get Brian singer to sell his rights to the X men, so movies can be good again. 😂
How ever you feel about the Fox x-men. You gotta give it up to the casting dept. It’s hard to imagine anyone else playing the X-men instead of the original cast. Beast and Wolverine are a testament to that
Jackman is amazing but his height has always bugged me. It removes a key element of Wolverine's character.

I think it’s the post Days of Future Past universe which technically doesn’t have any back log of continuity holding it down, so I think Feige sees that as a universe he can make to what he wants, using the Days of Future Oast theme was very deliberate
Yeah. Shawn Levy, Hugh Jackman, and Ryan Reynolds said that it takes place in the Fox universe before the events of Logan.

@@gbozzi05_ It doesn't have the restrictions of the original X-Men universe, nor does it have any future that it has to get to, they can do anything with it and by the looks of the last scene the X-men in that universe looked more comic accurate
I don't blame anyone for not watching everything (like Dark Phoenix). Not all movies HAVE to be watched to be a fan. Certainly there are some I've seen that I wish had been done differently but that doesn't meant there's nothing good to be taken from them. Even if it is a lesson of what doesn't work well.
I believe if you look back at the last three Kevin feike had a hand in them in the movies and if you go in the comics and look where binary first met up with the X-Men I think that would be the universe they going to go with but it's all speculations

I think it’s X-men 97. I think they’ll just lean on the fact that this Kelsey Grammer beast looks a lot like 20th Century Studios Fox Beast. I mean, why would you use that X-men tune to mark mutants in the MCU otherwise.

It isn't. Carol is a Marvel in the animated universe and Magneto is leading the X-Men while Xavier is off world.

However, you could say in another universe the same events happened in X-Men 97 happened but in live action form.

Just watched dark phoenix for the first time and I gotta say…I liked it 😬😬 maybe my expectations were just in the dirt from everyone dragging it but I was pleasantly surprised!

When someone travels to another part of the multiverse is time flat? Like when Doctor Strange traveled to Earth 838. If someone else traveled to 838 would or does it have to be the same time period. Could it be in the past or future?

Deadpool is a mutate, not a mutant. Mutants have their powers since birth, mutates get their powers later on.😊

I think it's the era/universe of the "X-Men" Last Stand...... The universe where Wolverine had to time travel back in time to try and stop the occurrence of the Sentinel being made... Hence the reason why "Wolverine" would probly gonna have the run in with the TVA.... Also Deadpool, who also time travelled.

Was there a reason that the 2000s X-Men Exolutions cartoon was omitted for consideration? I get the wheelchair is different, is it also too close to the movies? I loves the series, but it seems to have taken a back seat to the 90's version in the current discourse (I just found about the reboot in this video)

It's one of to things, it's either the days of future past pre Logan timeline, or if Deadpool is another timeline then it's in thag timeline which would be similar with the same actors but things look more comic accurate, with big beast and colosis and blue and yellow costumes

Well Deadpool 3 will most likely use time travel since they fixed Cable's time machine, so they'll probably use the X-Men from first class to adult X-Men.
So I’m having a Mandela Effect moment, I swore Beast was in the first Xmen movie, but was just in the labs. But now I’m noticing it was probably the X2 cameo with another actor.
I have say I enjoyed Dark Phoenix This actress does not care for it because this was switch of Fox Studio to Disney. So some might see that movie non canon. It did better with story of the Dark Phoenix with The Last Stand movie version.
When you say restore I think you mean it’s a branch timeline even if we saw the at sweeping time change thing unless the way they did time travel made it work like we all thought it did until endgame

i think it would be safe to think it is same wolverine, but differs macoy and X, in terms of timeline.
I think Deadpool is going to go around pruning the left over x-men timelines to cleanup the Fox universe and will eventually save some of the mutants from those timelines

If the broken fox sign is in the void in Deadpool 3 then there's really no other option, The mutants (at least the ones in Deadpool 3) are gonna be from the Fox marvel universe after the days of Future Past good ending and before the beginning of Logan
