Thank you for making this video 🙏🙏🙏 Everyone’s videos are about “budget” edh decks but I’m glad that that you included a few “less budget” cards. Thanks a ton man! Great stuff. Subscribed 👌
Ah you're welcome! Appreciate it, truly. I like the budget side of commander, but sometimes you just have the card already that fits that commander perfectly!!! Nothing like already having the expensive piece of your combo in your collection! Plus, it's nice to buy expensive cards sometimes 🙃
You can trigger arcanum wings or a swap ability before damage is dealt and you can swap colossification in for a one hit Commander kill assuming the commander has one power at least
Yeah, I think I was talking about aura swap being useful for a combat trick. If you wait till block step to swap though, you don't get the annihilator trigger on Conscription. Still, love the build!
In reference to scroll rack, getting eldrazi inscription out of your hand and back on top doesn't make it any cheaper - the aura cost is still the same. Scroll rack is still amazing in the deck if you are going equipment heavy. The example you want for this is colossal hammer.
So this is kinda my attempt on this commander; Heavenly Blademaster; Armored Skyhunter; Ardenn, Intrepid Archaeologist, All That Glitters, Danitha Capashen, Paragon; Halvar, God of Battle; Sigarda's Aid - all of those care about both, Auras and Equipments. I stacked the deck with plenty effects that are boosting both archtypes. A good way ws to get my commander protected and find another thread, protect and suit it up also and go for it. In decks like this you always have to find good balances. Between Creature to non-Creature Spells. Ramp to Action. Tutor to targets. Money to Powerlevel. The powerlevel is just almost equal to your mana curve - if you can ramp hard enough and get rid of the bricks on top of your library reliable - you can have really explosive turns. Here some spicy picks I found great so far: Soothsaying - top deck manipulation Blackblade Reforged - big buff Elemental Resonance - aura, ramps 1st main phase for mana value of enchanted permanent - with colors. Hammer of Nazahn - +2/+0 indestr. auto-quip for your stuff by ETB. there's even the owner you could play; Nazahn, Revered Bladesmith - 4gw, 5/4 - equip tutor - if its the hammer, into play - otherwise into hand Hope this is helpfull. Cheers!
Wow, this was great info! Soothsaying was quite the gem that I had never seen. Elemental Resonance is fantastic!!! Man, I wish I had known about that card. Thank you!
Excellent call! Sometimes a card won't make the list because it's obvious. I think the video is only as useful as new information that my audience receives.
It depends on what’s power level you wanna play at. If it’s causal your build is fine. But recently more and more stores have been increasing their power level. It also depends on your budget. It’s possible to make a broken deck within a certain budget
Like you said at the start of your video. Going equipment base is the best way to go. To make it broken you want to abuse the commanders ability. Playing off the top deck is a huge advantage. Lower cost equipment would boost its power dramatically. Plus they’re cheap money wise. You could end up storm killing someone on a budget
I think that I need more frequent trips to the stores. I'm building in time for things and this might be one of the things that I need to get more exposure to. Thank you for the feedback and comments! And you're right about the equipment. My playgroup has been playing in the sub $100 deck range for almost two years, so the $1,000 deck range is new territory for me. Appreciated!
Everyone has to start somewhere. My play group if we play to win the game is typically over turn 2-3. But I enjoy a slower game for commander. Remember even on a 200-300 budget if built right it can beat 1000 decks. You got this and I subscribed to watch more

Congrats on 200 subs!!!! Happy to be on this journey with you!
Heck yeah! Thank you thank you!
Thank you this helped my galea a big deal

@@aktirimagic4405 true, all depends on your goal, slow a player down or player removal lol
@@metalb0087 HA! Touche! Absolutely gotta use that player removal when you have a chance.

You're right, thank you. I get caught all the time saying things wrong lol
No problem at all. I found some tech in this video I hadn't considered for my Galea deck. Much appreciated. Congrats on closing in on 1000.
Ah! Glad I could still be of service! And thank you! I'm super excited. Comments like yours help me keep moving forward and I'm incredibly grateful :)

Instead of Leyline or the land check out the Sigarda´s Aid much much better.

Eldrazi conception is horrible choice for this deck unless it’s super super casual. For 8 you’ll never realistically cast it. This is nowhere broken.
I can get behind that line of logic. What would you have picked instead?
