For repeatable top deck manipulation at a reasonable price Soothsaying and Crystal Ball do a good job. Brainstone also gives a second Brainstone effect. All of them add to your Nettlecyst or All Tha Glitters counts.
I'm still working on my Galea deck (my first ever Commander deck) but I've decided to add Rune Of Flight, Rune Of Might and Rune Of Sustenance. They're cheap costing, let you draw a card when you play them and if your Creature dies the Auras can stick around because they're enchanted to the Equipment.
For sure I added a darksteel mutation. Getting rid of a commander options are few and far between. I miss being able to shuffle the commander Into the deck or tuck it on bottom
I really like Psychic Impetus personally. Just a good fire and forget aura in this deck and you get to make one players biggest threat your best weapon in a sense.
I don't get why this gets cut from so many peoples Galea's deck. It does so much work in mine. Even if there isn't something it can remove just slap it on your commander and now you've got top deck manipulation, you want to attack with her every turn anyways. Also combine that with any number of spells that grant flash and now you can scry on attack and buff from the top of your library at instant speed.
I slammed part of my Rafiq build into her precon and wew lad, getting darksteel plate, Argentum armor and Worldslayer on Rafiq or Galea regularly is so satisfying
I had darksteel plate, argentum armor, holy avenger, and colossification on galea. Making her a 30/30 with double strike, vigilance, and indestructible. Not to mention taking out opponents sol ring. 😂
My wife originally bought me this deck and I played it once and was like “meh” but it had some really cool artifacts that I wanted in other decks. Although I don’t remember what I took out, but I had a lifegain, big cat creature deck all with lifelink and vigilance that I was kind of getting bored of. So I took all the creatures out, added in my 11 best cats and two different ajani plainswalkers. Then added in a couple expensive cards like darksteel plate and hammer of nazahn. Never can be too sure of when you’ll be able to make your creatures indestructible so it just ups the chances. Also I added in colossification. Assuming you have holy avenger equipped to Galea or which ever creature. Making Galea a 24/24 with double strike, dealing 48 commander damage.
I already have an Equipment deck (Syr Gwyn), so I built this as an Aura/Bogles deck. Tried it with Kestia, the Cultivator with mixed results, so hopefully things go better with Galea.
I think Curse of Bounty would be really funny with Galea. Someone setting up for a combo? Slap a curse on them that lets others untap their creatures, and other nonland card to push them out. It incentivises aggression towards them, while letting your Voltron strategy hum along unimpeded. Makes a good political card to.
Im really high on Kusari-gama as an equipment. I run it in a lot of decks were the commander wants to attack. Jorn, God of Winter Lathril, Blade of elves Makes opponents really have to think about how they might want to block.

Deck needs ways to phase out. March of the swirling mist is amazing here. For 2 mana you can take galea and everything equiped to her out of the game. This is basically the only way around mass exile effects

Part of why Song is so good is that it's tough for many decks to get rid of it or the land to let you recast the commander. Minimus Containment makes it very easy to sac the commander.
If a card costs more then ten bucks you should have zero issue with making a proxy and using it. If people have an issue with it tell them to go play vintage.
I agree the issues happen when people are proxying mana crypt time spiral time twister and jeweled lotus but at that point we're probably not playing the same power level

I chose "shielded by faith" for flavour (shes a paladin). Added a regenerating troll and some protection from creatures auras.

If you're adding Hall of Heliod's Generosity (a ~$7 card), you should also consider Academy Ruins (a ~$9 card).

I like running the black/red sword because it's a cheaper one and doesnt give protection / shut off auras for any colors in cmd's identity.
I added umbra mystic and a few of the totem armor auras.

I have my deck all built up, it’s very easy for her to hit people for 20+… yet idk if it’s voltron or galea, but the deck just doesn’t do it for me

I would focus on either auras or equipment to be able to get more consistent draw engines in the deck (ie eidolon of blossoms, etc)
The Reality Chip is awesome in this deck

Why no one is playing
Minimus Containment !! It is still a 10 cents aura and is similar (almost better) to the song of the dryads (10$+)
Also Halvar, God of Battle is really good
