  • This is Contentment, a free vinyasa class from MacKenzie Miller's Prana-Enhancing Flows series. You can become an Alo Moves Member to get the full series of Prana-Enhancing Flows's workout classes online here: www.alomoves.c...
    About Prana-Enhancing Flows:
    Prana means “life force” in Sanskrit, and to enhance your life force is to live your life to the fullest. These five full-body flows are about increasing prana to elevate your ability to be mindful, stay present and feel gratitude every day.
    Prana-Enhancing Flows involve a specific type of sequencing: you begin by finding stillness in standing postures before connecting body, breath and movement. Each flow boosts a different type of prana by injecting a specific mantra such as joy, peace, or power throughout our standing postures and sequences.
    Mackenzie created these flows to challenge you so you can approach struggles in life with a positive attitude. By the end of each 30-45 minute practice, you'll have worked up a sweat and pushed past your physical limits, surrendered blissfully into savanna, and stepped off your mat feeling vibrantly full of life!

    About MacKenzie:
    Work hard, find softness. MacKenzie Miller will leave you feeling as if you have flirted with gravity and laughed with the divine. Students are instantaneously transported away from the hustle of their daily lives, allowing their mat to be an arena reserved for cultivating inner peace.
    MacKenzie is a certified personal trainer and yoga instructor. Her teaching combines thorough understanding of alignment and anatomy with the joy of balance and movement. She engages deeply with her students and her classes are thoughtfully sequenced, creating a safe space to have fun and explore, work hard yet find softness.
    No aspect of the modern practice experience is left untouched. All will leave energized, grinning and humming at the end.

    This teacher knows what she is doing. She is talking throughout her challenging vinyasa, while a practitioner would be breathing.
    The sequence is beautiful and I would be proud to be able to execute it as smoothly as those guys do. Plus the hair!!! Mine is drenched with sweat during classes like this.

    Great sequence and amazing ability to instruct, perform and breathe at the same time. I'm still avoiding the fancy vinyasa but love the fact you all show it can be done with grace and fluidity.

    I 1st watched & some moves were unachievable for me abour 18 mins in, when U stood on your hands & did a split in the air. I've had 2 strokes during summer of 2015, but the process looks fun. You & Dylan Werner make yoga fun & challenging. CELESTE

    Loved this sequence, felt like it really burnt thru a lot of stagnant energy while challenging my balance. I always appreciate a deliciously slow first round followed by one breath one movement vinyasas. Ending it with Cow face legs and talking about self-acceptance and not comparing ourselves really resonated with me. Thanks!

    Thank you, MacKenzie! Just love this flow and it realises my middle and it gets more spacious. You have a nice calm voice as well and that's so important in a yogi, I think. Love&Nature from Reykjavik

    This is a good flow. I'm more into holding poses longer with proper alignment (Hatha) but the one-breath-one pose sequence without care of alignment looks fun.

      too slow? are you even real? I would say this class is awesome, actually very speedy...rather than slow!

    • @Kantikoy
      @Kantikoy 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You should of tried it just a bit longer, it got a lot faster. The first round was real slow (but def not easy holding those properly). Then she did I wanna say 4-5 more rounds, one breath one movement and it was a challenge going from Peaceful Warrior to Revolved Half Moon to Standing Revolved Hand to Foot Pose in 1 breath each.
