Do you need to take any special precaution that the water pump gear meshes together with the internal gear? Or when you put the cover back on it automatically lines up and meshes?
Hey it won’t go on if it’s not lined up slight tap the Cover & water pump gear will make its way home. Kick start gear dowel pin and colnt neck lines it all up. Upgrade the water pump and get ride of the plastic gear the plastic teeth brake. Take off 🐳Water pump cover on case off after instal and turn engine to check your pump🦦🤙✌️
