People of Al Jazeera and Mehdi Hassan. Thanks for explaining the coup in Turkey.
Will there be a longer version in the future about the coup?

Turkish government has a right to control the country.
And I support the process which they have done. I would like to say thanks Erdogan and his administration.
      God bless you

Not really if you know turkeys history. This network of fetullah gülen was a very well known and actually admired network with many institutions (like schools) all over turkey. So they have really infiltrated the government, which was fine, until they decided to turn on the government. There were many coups and if either one side wins, the other gets killed or punished. That's been the turkey that Atatürk established.

The worst thing to ever happen within modern Islam is when middle eastern countries developed national identities; so many issues are attached to politics and greed. We have the hadith and the Qur'an, I don't understand why people feel the need to create chaos by deviating from those guidances.

Wow! That guy is extremely skilled with his lies, he managed to slow down Mehdi Hassan with his slow talk and technical babbling and unclear references. Erdogan has some brilliant lackeys it seems.

This guy was one of the few smart people in erdo’s government. So disappointing to see him being have to defend erdo’s crackdown.
Looking back, I bet he regrets this interview.
Good job on Mehdi for being able to hold a Turkish minister accountable on a Qatari network.

Mehdi you are an educated person. I know you are a journalist and your job is to ask questions but i expected you of all people to understand Turkeys complicated situation rather than asking silly questions without understanding the full context. Maybe you are biased because you are a Shia and you do not agree with Erdogan's sunni government but you need to do your research and accept that any country tackling a failed coup attempt would be taking the same measures as Turkey and more.
