Hi everyone! I hope you're doing well and are having a flare-free day. In today's video, I dive into all things Liver Endometriosis! It's so strange to think that the first documented case of liver endometriosis was in the 1980s.
In this video, I talk about what the liver is (function of the liver in the human body), the presentation of endometriosis lesions, adhesions, and stroma on the liver, symptoms of liver endometriosis, diagnosis of liver endometriosis, and the treatment / pain management of the disease. I have been diagnosed with it after 16 years after my hysterectomy. Im 58 years old. Its in my pelvis, throughout my colon and maybe even within my chest cavity as i have classic thoracic endo symptoms including pains in right shoulder and shooting pains in right side of neck especially when yawning or deep breathing , also pains the back of my neck. I also have had major trouble with liver, blood tests show this and i also have terrible painful spasms in liver, so could be there too. P.s im a non drinker.

Interesting. I have it on my colon, so hearing about this is super useful- trying to learn as much as I can about endo!

I think I have it as I have "endo" pain in upper right quadrant. I have some difficulties with breathing and swallowing (diaphragm also, I think). My liver is showing on u/s as hyperechoic and is 117mm
My specialist has said my endo is too extensive and aggressive to do any more surgery so he won't even scope me for it. He's trying to say it's fatty liver disease but it sure feels like endo pain to me. I have also had stage 5 or frozen pelvis and inguinal endometriosis oh and abdominal wall endo (it's everywhere 😞)
