  • Hi everyone! I hope you’re having a flare free day. In today’s video, I chat about all things painful periods! Sometimes when we chat with our friends or go to the doctors, we hear “you suffer from painful periods” or “you’re one of the unlucky ones with a painful period” - but what does that truly mean? How do we know if our periods are normal or truly in the “painful period” category? This video dives into all things painful periods!
I describe what painful periods are, the two different types of painful periods we can experience, causes of painful periods, and some natural at home remedies to try! Important reminder that any new, changing or recurrent painful symptoms during (or outside) of your period should be shared with a doctor!
Huge shoutout to the American College of Gynaecologists and Obstetricians for some amazing research on painful periods and dysmenorrhea!
