I have stage 4 endo on my bladder kidneys ribs and neck and breasts with uterine fibroids and ovarian cysts, was told my tubes were completely fused shut and where unable to open without collapse, I’ve had removals along with adhesion removals and was told to enjoy my life and babies were not an option, fast forward 7 years never been pregnant to boom pregnancy, lost 2 babies back to back at 11 weeks, then I started hormones again so as to not go through that again and I’m now at 37 weeks gestation with a healthy baby girl ready to meet very soon. We don’t know why or how, but I’d been off of lupron and hormones for 6 years and wasn’t expecting this at all. By the way I was only ever managing my pain cycles since I was over all the surgeries since everything always came back. I guess I’m trying to say miracles happen and I’d of never thought in my wildest dreams I’d be a mother so it’s all been a lot but I hope this brings someone else some needed hope ❤ And yes I was on birth control and STILL I became pregnant once again, this has all happened with the last year and a half, it’s been extremely painful and exhausting along with weakness but we made it this far, not to mention I’m 38years old! Wasn’t trying, never had children in my future plans, but now I’m ready and so happy to see what’s next
@@FlaviaNakitto-wm6nj that’s just the thing, I’m as shocked as anyone, I’m not sure how I conceived nor do the doctors understand, I just know I stopped all medications and stopped working myself to death as a nurse and was able to stay home to be a housewife and it just came out of nowhere. I pray you get your sweet angel soon 🙏
❤ correct. Stage 4 here, less pain than other ladies, but very spreaded, I also never had heavy periods, so without bleeding heavily I still succeeded to have stage 4....
Thank you for posting this video. I just had surgery to remove a giant endometrioma last week, and my surgeon said that he found I had advanced Stage 4 endometriosis. He said that he couldn't even see my ovaries due to the amount of endometrial tissue and adhesions. It was all over my other organs and my wrapped around my blood vessels. You can just imagine the amount of pain before and after the surgery.
After the operation how are you feeling now And was your organs remove? How were they able to remove the endometriosis without it affecting your organ Please are you in Nigeria which hospital. I need help pls kindly share your experiences
I had a misdiagnosis while in the military they never acknowledged my endometriosis symptoms i was completely ignored & told it was normal - regardless of telling them I had heavy cycles - all they did was push birth control on me - while ignoring my pain & symptoms! Thank you so much for this - it was very helpful & informative! I have finally started receiving the treatment I needed after so many years !
Thank you so so much. I’ve been diagnosed for 4 years or so. It’s been a hard journey bc i feel my uni teachers and boss at work don’t get all the symptoms i feel and how bad it gets. (Stage 4: severe)
I am having bilateral chocolate cysts with both ovaries adhesed with utriene implant on urinary bladder. I am glad to see here that people are bravly dealing with this extreme pain
I have been fighting with the doctors for them to diagnose if I have it or not but they have been pushing it back and back. I thought it was food poisoning at first. But it took me to the hospital four times. I have an ovarian cysts at 4.8cm. It grew over 1 cm in a week after that. The pain is excruciating, but they are doing the same tests and continue to hold me for another 6 weeks for check up and I don’t know what to do. I’ve been out of work for 2 months.
Heh, I ended up being hospitalized after I got appendicitis and during surgery they found I had a ruptured cyst and another one that was around 9 cm diameter. So I guess all the pain during my period was not normal, nor was the back pain that woke me up in the middle of the night, and that the abdominal pain was not part of my IBS. Gotta love how dismissive can doctors be. 🙃
Your staging would depend on extent of endo lesions, depth, etc. A doctor specializing in endometriosis would be well suited to provide a proper diagnosis of staging. Here is an article around appendicular endo to check out: www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6796600/
Hey! Thanks for your question. From some research, kissing ovaries does relate to endometriosis! In a study done in 2005, they took 32 patients with kissing ovaries. 27 of those people were diagnosed at ultrasound and confirmed laparoscopically with moderate to severe endometriosis and five others had benign masses. Bowel and Fallopian tube endometriosis were significantly more frequent in patients with kissing ovaries than in patients without kissing ovaries. The conclusion of the report outlined “The detection of kissing ovaries at ultrasound is strongly associated with the presence of endometriosis and is a marker of the most severe form of this disease.” Kissing ovaries can also be associated to other conditions - like pelvic inflammatory disease. It can occur when a buildup of scar tissue causes the ovaries to lean toward each other or bind together-and sometimes to the back of the uterus itself Hope this helps!!
Hey Kirsty! New video is going live soon on my channel all about kissing ovaries! Huge shoutout to you for posing the question. I hope the video helps!

Stage 4 endo with no pain (other than bowel pain during my cycle) until I experienced a ruptured cyst. 💛✨️
🙋♀️ Exactly the same here! Although rupture was horrendously painful, so glad I don't suffer as much as many other women do...

So, if you've got appendicular endometriosis (on the appendix), does it mean it's stage IV?
