Characters started really cool now seems like Hoyo is just throwing random shit together
The character designs are definitely more similar each other within faction than Genshin or HSR. I find it really noticeable with the shared colour palettes, especially in the maid faction and Belobog. They're essentially wearing company uniforms which does make sense from a lore perspective. The Knights of Favonius characters in Genshin kind of have that going on with their outfits, but they still have their own colour schemes. I do like the designs, but I don't think that they'll be as unique and memorable as the Genshin or HSR ones. Especially if they end up having a lot of characters that only belong to a few main factions. I kind of wonder if this game will have mechanics based on the factions in team building.
I hope I get access to the beta.
Shark consuming, mean, fury, as to a maid, supportive, sweet, kind, cool. Classic gap moe, maybe even tsudere. Is she my fav? No, but not a bad take on a maid character. She does have alot going on though with her design. While the cast of characters mostly look good to me, Hoshimi Miyabi and Nicole Demara are standouts to me. Miyabi has Ayaka, Ridan, and some catgirl things going for her. Hits me just right. Nicole is well Nicole, speaks for itself. Thanks for the input, enjoyed the video. Yes show us the beta.
Yeah, I agree with your takes on the B-team level designs. My current gripe with the game is that I haven't found a stand-out character that will drive me to play the game like with Genshin's Raiden Shogun or Star Rail's Kafka, but maybe that will change as more trailers come out or if the story is enough to make me love the current cast.

I agree with you about shark maid. I love sharks, so I’ll pull for her. I just don’t like that she’s wearing a maid outfit.
the differences between the shark maid design and the puppet(?) maid design are huge. itd be a shame if all 4*s lack detail like this

I am curious, what type of game it will be? Meaning what the gameplay loop? My problem with Star Rail and why I doesn't playing it after trying twice is thet I don'T like the gameplay thet much and we don'T have open world + I find the world's aestietic not really interesting, I don't really like generic scifi vibes.

@@TheJelloShow Oh, interesting I would never though about Rouge Like in this genre. Turn based or real time? (I like strategy games but Star Rail doesn't gripd me, it is a little bit too simplistic and static)

I think the new characters look really plain and boring. Just my opinion maybe im too picky
The thing is tht even 4 star chracters in honkai star rail look a lot better and have more details (like for example) Susahang. So im kinda dissapointet

Not a fan of all the furry characters and I'm not seeing any hot male characters so this game is not hooking me in. Hopefully they release better designs and more husbandos.
