I'm ex kings regiment mate . From 91 - 97 did want queen's Lancashire regiment being from Wigan ! But ended up in the kingo regiment. Lol but what a fantastic bunch of guys friends and brothers for life

What is now an amalgamation of various regiments including the Border Regiment, the Queens Lancashire Regiment, the Kings Liverpool Regiment, also my Grandads Regiment from WW1 who was in the 4th Battalion Kings Own Lancaster Regiment, thanks for your service all past and present members of the Duke of Lancasters Regiment

This applied even when the Duke was Elizabeth II. ❤😢 Lancaster is the Monarch's personal demense, and he receives all the revenue from it. Since 1993? They chosen to pay taxes on that income.
