I always find it amusing when Anna say that Zara and H&M are budget stores when, for me, they would actually be a big step up. For all my life, I've shopped at Walmart or thrift stores.
I just started my Law of Attraction journey, so that should change hopefully within the year

I can appreciate how Anna has grown to accept that Zara, while being a fast fashion retailer, does have great basics and "hidden gems", where before she wrote it off as inelegant. It shows that Anna has expanded her shopping skills and her mindset when it comes to sourcing staples in her wardrobe - the epitome of elegance!

I have never been against Zara. But I have been working hard on promoting the benefits of investing in mid-range. Of course I also want to cater to a different demographic that cannot afford more than fast fashion at this point, which is why I make these videos.
But I have always bought from Zara even if it’s not my favorite place to shop at.

I think it is largely due to the enhanced quality of Zara products. Their clothes have become so much better recently compared to how they were before.

    • @HereDiianas
      @HereDiianas ปีที่แล้ว +47

@Tram Ta Well, since I have been buying from Zara since I was 13 because my legs were too long for teenage stores ( I am 40 now) let me tell you that their quality has not improved. It used to be good quality and then ok quality and now it's poor quality. Now you can always find exceptions from time to time but it's super rare. There is a big difference between the clothes I bought 10 yeas ago and what I see in stores now. And I am not even talking about clothes I bought 20 years agoI (completely different world) it's fast fashion anyway, and the concept itself of fast fashion does not allow good quality. The very rare hidden germs are ok but I would never call them good quality.

Thank goodness I got some of those pieces already in my closet. It really shows investment buying in classic pieces they will come around again. It's always fun to buy new pieces yet in this day and age and at my age being 73. It might not be such a good investment.
All of the pieces you modeled were beautiful on you. Yet you gotta know that polka dotted sweetheart neckcline dress Is a dress made for you ;you look amazing in that dress and style. I believe it's due to the style of that dress which mimics your body. Yours being an hour glass that pieces cut like an hour glass so it's just gorgeous. Specifically made for that body type.
Regarding that print dress I think what makes it really work is the asymmetry of the hemline and folded waistline.I think if it was just very plain. It would look not quite right but because the pattern is going every. Which way It's much more intriguing to the eye. The dress design is mimicking the pattern that's what makes it really work.

Thank you so much for this type of video that are so inspiring. Unfortunately when you do not wear polyester, the choice shrinks drastically 😮😅

Anna I always love your outfits!
And I love the denim dress! Im obsessed with denim
But I think the denim shade it too dark on you and stops in the wrong place (by your knees)
I think if it were a lighter wash denim and is longer, you might look brighter! 😊

According to a stylist I know, choose print size based on your features -- if you have big facial features, wear big prints. Small facial features, wear small prints.

All white is always a classic. Anna I was wondering if you could expand your recommendations for elegant classy summer dressing for women in their 50’s. I am at an age where I don’t like to show my upper arms or my legs but I still want to look classy, but Greece is so hot ( you can’t walk around in heels due to the state of the roads and footpaths) . Therefore, I find looking elegant in Greece a challenge. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

I really enjoy the videos about the hidden gems in fast fashion. But I would also be interested in videos about different colour pallets on different people. After all not every colour looks great on everyone. Quite the opposite. It can ruin every look if you pick something that doesn't match you at all. I think a few more tips in that department would be helpful because one looks so much more put together and elegant in the right colours after all. And you haven't touched on that subject too much yet.

Wow Anna these are marvelous finds! Your hourglass shape does them justice because they all nip in at the waist and have quite a bit of tailoring with darts. P.S., your video about goofy fashion was really funny... you have a great sense of humor.

Thank you so much for your very well done videos. I started my channel in January 2023 "Vera Vencer" and I'm still getting started in this youtube world. I already subscribed to your channel. I want to ask which country you live in and if you have any curiosity about how women dress in Brazil? My sister live in London. 😀kisses

Funny thing is in my country cuz of dollar's value Zara is one of the most expensive brands :D Chanel Hermes YSL etc are not allowed to sell products in my country so Zara become new Chanel :) Our law kinda against to foreign brands, national brands are promoted. New money ppl tend to buy Zara( here even Zara belts costs 800 bucks), also Zara Mango H&M etc makes special collections with %100 silk, cashmere and linen here even limited edition collections that you can reach products from special stores in special cities. They even collaborate with national high-end brands. It is weird to see they are considered fast fashion in other places.
