Thank you my dear Anna. 😘 My favorite hack of yours is no. 9 and no. 10. I haven't thought about the possibility before, of more high-waisted trousers with a slimer top tucked in. Love the idea💡- I will be definitely implementing that one. 😍 And of course your tip to use the winter sale, as you have already mentioned several times. Anna you are just absolutely right. The winter sale is the best sale of the year. Nothing can top it. I have bought knitwear, shoes, jackets, trousers, etc. For at least 50% off. 🙌 I hope your finger will get better soon. I am sending you pots of hugs and kisses. 💖
Anna thank you so much for all of your videos, I am lucky to watch all of your videos about how to be elegant before I go to date with American guy that officially my boyfriend (now) on December 2021.I follow all your rules and it works.I love you Anna, from Bali 🇮🇩
*If Anna can film a video with her 'funny' looking finger, I can show up for myself and others regardless of my excuses. What an absolute trooper she is.*
You can definitely wear dresses throughout the whole winter (year). I do this because I have a pear body shape so dresses look 100% better on me than trousers. I just make sure they are knitted or have extra inner lining and a thicker out layer. For knee length ones I wear with knee-length boots, but you can find warm maxi and midi dreses that you can wear with shorter boots and even sneakers.
In my personal opinion, it is much easier to look elegant in winter than summer. Beautiful coat, warm hat and good boots. They elevate any outfit, and people might not be able to tell what you are wearing under them, when you are doing your errands. In warm summer you have to look good from head to toe, without covering layers. However, there is always space for learning how to look even more elegant, so thank you for the video! Greetings from Finland! 🌸❄
I just love this elegant lady Anna!! I don't think she gets enough recognition for her great work ethic. She is transforming ordinary ladies like myself into an elegant feminine woman with purpose. My life has changed drastically since the first day I discovered this TH-cam channel, thank you from the bottom of my heart Anna 😍😍 Ladies please can we share all her videos with all our friends and family members and grow it to 5 million subscribers!!
@cynthia4338 I totally agree with you! I just discovered Anna less than a week ago and the impact of her videos, ideologies, and helpful tools has been very enlightening to me! I think she's incredibly intelligent and I love her message. This is the content I didn't know I needed. It's giving me a greater sense of purpose, while helping me to be more fashionable and mindful of my actions. Thanks so much, Anna 💕
I think she meant "costume" jewelry, not "custom" jewelry. Just clarifying for everyone else! Anna's first language is not English, but she does have an impressive command of the language.

Anna, you have truly changed my life and outlook on femininity with every video you post. I can’t even say how much you’ve taught me in the 5 years I’ve been watchIng you. You have truly been an icon, teacher, and mother all in one. Thank you ♥️
Hi Anna, I am from Pakistan and though I don't wear western clothes but I do watch your videos anxiously. I like this thing about you that you chose to go on the journey towards elegance, and you admit your previous mistakes to guide others.
Comedy yes, but also a much-needed kick where it's needed ;) If Anna can film a video with her 'funny' looking finger, I can show up regardless of my excuses. What an absolute trooper she is.
I find it so hard to dress elegantly in the summer without looking like I’m just wearing business casual 24/7 😭 I want to find the perfect line between business casual and feminine elegant
Also, the term "costume jewelry" refers to jewelry made from non-precious metals and stones. Chanel has long been a promoter of the look. BUT, costume jewelry can be quite expensive, even though it will not hold up well over the years. I would also be careful to find out what metals are used in the fabrication, since you're wearing it against your skin. (Many poisons are transmitted transdermally. Examples include lead, cadmium, chromium, and nickel.)
There are a few very good quality semi fine jewellery stores online where you can get pieces that are either plated or gold filled and they look much more elegant than costume jewellery. A good store will tell you what the base metal is and which process of gold covering they have used for each piece. I highly recommend Miranda Frye in the US and Astrid And Miu in the UK.
I'm so happy that you did this video for us living in cold weather. This Canadian winter is hitting me like never before and I thought my level up journey was about to be paused for 5 months. Thank you! 💋😻
@@FineNaturalHairROCKS haha I can't complain about Toronto because when I was in north Alberta it was -40C. No one is going out there to try to look "cute" in their winter jackets lol we just want to SURVIVE
I learned early in life the importance of layers. I live in Northern California in the Sierras mountains and it gets cold and we get a lot of snow. So I loved to ski and I learn that pantyhose work really well as a insulator. When I went to the Army it also worked well on cold days underneath my uniform. I bought my thin insulator shirts in Walmart for only $15 and you can by the bottoms as well.
How you know Anna really cares: she literally bled trying to share ideas and help us 😢. I hope you heal very soon, my love. Thank you truly for all that you do for my life ❤️. You teach me passion every day!
Hi Ana. I'm Patricia from RI.I bought a beautiful London Fog raincoat at a thrift shop, like new. I washed it ( of course ). And realized there was no belt or belt loops. I bought a nice big belt close to the color and voila. Looks great !! Thank you for your wonderful videos
Please do a video on dressing elegant for plus sized ladies. I honestly struggle to feel elegant in anything I wear having put on some weight over the past few years ❤️ Would love your input
My trick for base layers is buying them in one (sometimes two) sizes smaller so they lay very close to my skin. The same can be applied to off the shoulder or even turtleneck sweaters.
I love winter and the cold weather so I find it easier to dress well this time of year. I wear dresses almost every day now, even when it's below freezing and I'm much warmer in dresses than I was when I would wear pants. Loose clothing is much better at insulating than tight clothing. Here's some things I've found that have worked well for me: 1. Merino wool base layer is a must! I wear merino wool leggings/ tights every day in winter. 2. I wear a black, white, skin toned, or otherwise neutral colored turtleneck under my dresses. It looks nice and it's practical. 3. Tall boots! Snow boots when there's a lot of snow on the ground, and leather riding boots when there is little to no snow. 4. Ear muffs. I think they're so cute and feminine, and most importantly practical. Loved the tip about putting a belt on a coat. I found a 100% wool long coat for $20 at a thrift store. It didn't have a belt so I just use a belt that came with another cheaper fake wool coat that I had.
It is refreshing to see you transitioning your fashion sense to a new level. I would describe this new level as more sophisticated style, a reflection of the French fashions, and the genius behind them (Gabrielle/Coco Chanel). She was the revolutionary who coined the “LBD” as an ultimate choice❤️
Anna perhaps you could do a video on quality fabrics, etc. So many people I meet do not know how warm wool, cashmere and down are. If they do shop for an item with quality fabric, they don't buy it because of the price. As you know from living in Sweden, one wool sweater is warmer than 10 fleece ones. What I have learned is that these fabrics end up lasting longer, look more elegant, and are warmer than a bunch of layers. Because they last longer, we don't need to buy so many pieces; not to mention the cost savings on your household heating system when one is dressed warmly. Bedding is no exception either. Most of my friends do not know about flannel or silk sheets, wool and down blankets. You will never hear me complain of the cold or see me looking drab. Elegant ladies are comfortable.
Buying vintage or just interesting sets of buttons from op shops can be a good way to update or change an item of clothing. I have even found some beautiful large buttons that I have used as scarf holders with the help of a hair tie.
I actually find it more difficult to look good in summer, as I feel like as long as you have nice long winter coat, it can do well for upping your outfit altogether. Summer is harder in my opinion!
I agree! Just some black nice trousers, of a skirt and a black turtleneck with my red coat and I feel good to go but in summer it's more of a challenge for me.
Summer is much harder for me too. I'm very hot natured (as in polar bear territory), and we have hot summers. Between the door and my car, I start melting like Frosty the Snowman!
You are so nice!!! Thank you. Love your suggestions and more as I am also in the British cold..!!! So need to know what to even wear to keep my feet warm but in an office

Hi Anna can you do a video on how to look expensive while pregnant? I’m pregnant and I’m worried about when I get bigger all I can really wear are those stretchy dresses.
It’s definitely difficult but I wore sweater dresses and boots and then my coat open because I couldn’t zip it (gave birth second time at end of January). I also had midi skirts I wore over on top my belly with a stretchy black turtleneck top and everyone complimented me. I got the skirts from a thrift shop for super cheap but they were extremely comfortable they were originally from Chico’s. accessories were the important part like dangly earrings, cross body bags, sunglasses, etc.
Anna, how sweet of you to release a video with you finger under recovery... AND by the way, still look fantastic, quite an inspiration!! I hope you get well soon.
My puffer coat, which I got for Christmas is a cute, smoky lavender - my previous one, that I had for many years was the same champagne color in your video - I didn’t even know I was being “expensive.”
Great video! as a styling coach I would suggest fabric pants from Theory, Knitwear from Falconeri ( cashmere especially) and the classic camel coat from Max Mara and all its sister brands ( weekend Max Mara, sport weekend, etc).

Hello Anna Thank you for this detailed winter style video for elegant looks. Living in Florida and want to look elegant could you possibly do a video for a different climate. Thank you ❤️
I live in the Northern Plains of the United States. Not only is 20 below zero Fahrenheit (and lower) not unusual, but the land is very flat, so the wind can be fierce. Skin can freeze in minutes. I do have a dark goose down jacket. It's chocolate brown and comes to my hips. It's incredibly warm, but doesn't look very puffy. I'm petite in stature and bone structure and I would look ridiculous in a puffer coat. I do have a white down filled jacket and get many compliments on it. After seeing the pictures in this video, I think I should add a belt. Thanks for the tip, Anna. I used to have a cream down jacket, with a faux fur edged hood. I wore it with a fuzzy hat, scarf and glove set. I got so many compliments on it and one woman told me that I made winter look fun. I've lost weight, though and put it on one day and looked in the full length mirror. I could see that it was too big and too long (it reached the top of my thighs). I said to myself, I look like a little kid in a snowsuit." I intend to give it to a homeless shelter. xo~linda
Thank you for confirming my love of layering in the winter and switching belts on coats. Not a fan of the big jacket though but that’s because I’m short and feel lost in all that fabric. Agree that jewelry is always a must, it finishes the look. Love your point of view.
I just purchased a tan puffer with a drawstring waist. It looks so elegant and elevated on compared to the others all wearing oversized black ones. I could even add a leather belt on top for a different look.
Anna… you have come such a long ways from your reality show. You cleaned up so beautifully, such a great example for people. Love your videos. Keep it up. I always look forward to seeing them. You are so fun to watch too. Feel like one of your friends.😉
Thank you, Anna! Hälsningar från Finland! Greetings from Finland! You might understand how difficult it is to look elegant in a small town in the middle of all snow and ice! Look, high heal boots are impossible here! The walkways are so slipper that I’d prefere to use skates instead. You gave good tips, however! I am renewing my warderope and all these ideas are helpful! Thank you very much!
Love classic ‘country estate’ look. A very elegant was to be casual and comfortable. Anna! So happy for you to hear you have a horse now! Pictures please😍
You now have a horse? How wonderful! I often have wild horses that visit my property. It's a gifted interaction that I can't describe. These encounters are good for the heart and soul. Enjoy!
I wore a long camel wool coat with a belt and got so many compliments, one lady pulled me aside to tell me to never get rid of it; she wishes she had kept all her classic coats throughout the years. I love winter for the coats and gloves.
Thank you fo the video! Can you make a video about how an elegant household should look? For example, what should be available in the guest areas or so?
Dresses is my favorite in the winter!! You can hide woolen stockings underneath while looking good. And it’s so comfortable! I really struggle to wear pants in winter. It’s so much colder.

I'm actually moving to San Francisco soon and the weather there is a bit colder than other cities. I am so excited to go through my wardrobe today and pick out outfit according to todays lessons.
welcome to my beautiful SFO you’re going to love it. I live 40 minutes away !i moved here 25 years ago.
Hope you’re feeling better Anna 💗 speedy recovery to you. And great video as always
You make that bandage look elegant! I hope you are healing well and not in too much pain. 💗
Hi Anna can you do a video on how to look expensive while pregnant? I’m pregnant and I’m worried about when I get bigger all I can really wear are those stretchy dresses.
The knit dresses she mentioned in this video would be a great choice!
Thanks for featuring Susi Rejano! I’ve always thought of her as a refreshingly elegant and stylish example of womanhood over 50.
Thank you ❤️..... Anna can I please request you to do a video on elegant work wear... ideally for all weather types 🙏🙏
I love it ❤️ Thank you, Anna!
This is super useful now, here in Romania, during winter ❄️
Thanks for showing Anna I hoped your finger heals up soon and you have a speedy recovery.
Seems like winter clothes are great for classics. Which is why they're good to buy at sales & save for the following year.
Love when you give advice that is accessible and usable by everyone!
Im so grateful to have found this channel or this channel found me! I have been searching for positive change in my life ❤️
I would love to see a shopping list of items to go shopping for right now that are on sale! I'd like to know what to stock up on and what to pass on.
Great video! as a styling coach I would suggest fabric pants from Theory, Knitwear from Falconeri ( cashmere especially) and the classic camel coat from Max Mara and all its sister brands ( weekend Max Mara, sport weekend, etc).
@@edennis8578 sorry to hear about that... i never had any issues..what country are you in?
Video title: How to look elegant on a budget
Comment: buy a Max Mara coat
@@ElisabethZ-ji7ln buy a max mara puffer coat like annas , now during sales season / second hand or from max mara sisters brands on sale now.You wanna buy zara of course you can.
@@ElisabethZ-ji7ln max mara is known for her mastery in camel 🧥 coats and outwear. You can write your own brand suggestions.I didnt know there was censorship in the comments and you were in charge of it.
@@thecreativestylist What censorship? I was just making a joke. No need to overreact and be condescending.
Great tips!! I leave in Canada and I actually like a lot to wear dresses in the winter. I just feel that is the easiest way to be really warm, comfortable and feminine at time. Yes I have fleecy and wool a tights. Wish you a feast recover! 💐
I was looking at a long grey coat for winter instead of black. Thanks anna
When you started your transformation did you see your relationships change? Did you experience rejection/shunning from female family members? I find that as I have started my personal transformation I'm more okay with setting boundaries but those in my life who are not used to it are reacting badly.
Wonderful tips! I generally dislike winter clothing as it looks boring but applying Anna’s tip will “elevate” it. I luv that term.
I don't even live in a cold weather country but i love watching these videos and wonder about all cool outfits i could try.
Winter ladies, you are all beautiful!
Need more videos on this topic I’m petite and moving to uk soon from Indian please more videos anna and thank you so much for this video it’s really helpful 👌❤️❤️
My favorite styling hack is belting a coat or replacing the belt that came with the coat with something like a leather belt.
Thank you for these wonderful styling hacks on a budget. They are very helpful and I'm going to incorporate them.

I just love how Anna and what she teaches are close to reality and also quite relatable. Thank you!
Hey Anna babe,
I'm so sorry about your hand. I hope you feel better. I wish you rapid healing. Thanks for the content❤️❤️❤️
Thank you for confirming my love of layering in the winter and switching belts on coats. Not a fan of the big jacket though but that’s because I’m short and feel lost in all that fabric. Agree that jewelry is always a must, it finishes the look.
Love your point of view.
Love and lough to my dear Anna❤❤❤Thank you for filming this video even in unusual situation.Wish you soon recovery🙏
You don’t need to spend a fortune to look elegant and sophisticated! These videos are my favourite of yours! Always super helpful 🤍
I just purchased a tan puffer with a drawstring waist. It looks so elegant and elevated on compared to the others all wearing oversized black ones. I could even add a leather belt on top for a different look.
Prayers that you heal quickly and easily Anna.
Anna thank you for teaching me what to call long-johns. I always wanted a classier term to call them and now I know to say, "Wear a good base layer."
love all the outfit fot winter
Dresses is my favorite in the winter!! You can hide woolen stockings underneath while looking good. And it’s so comfortable! I really struggle to wear pants in winter. It’s so much colder.
Oh no, Anna!! I hope your finger feels better soon. Thank you for taking action (I’m learning 😃) and bringing us this video ❤️❤️❤️
I love how we still got a video on Wednesday! I wasn't expecting one till next Sunday so very appreciated 😃
Anna It’s so lovely seeing you back
💜💜💜
Thank you and sorry for what happened to your finger. Get well darling
Hi Anna so sorry for your hand but still grateful you got to do a video for us today🥰 and this is really a wonderful video too as we're also experiencing a serious cold here love you always pray your finger heals soon😘
Urban Revivo has beautiful jackets, coats and blazers that are amazing quality, affordable and chic!
Anna, I love your channel and your positive energy! Sending you blessings and wishes for continued growth!
Thank you for the video. I love these tips.
Ana, I really like your videos. They are so practical, and you think about every scenario. I was happily surprised that the first tip was the base layer. You know your stuff! I haven't walked out without my baselayer for 15 days already, because the temperature are below - 5. And I wear on top light cool pants and blouses :) I look cool and I am warm!
Me too
Anna, please accept my apologies for missing your workshop today. Wasn't feeling well and missed alarm. I have signed up for a session tomorrow.
Get will soon dear Anna
And thank you so much for the amazing tips
Anna is the real MVP! Still coming through for us with great content 😍🥰😎
Wish you speedy recovery Anna! You look fabulous, as always.
