      They are rubber cable grommets, I use them in my cars to run wiring through the firewall. You can get them from most hardware or automotive stores :)

    Did you put a "F"-spaced Invader in it. Reason I ask is, do the strings line up with the pole pieces on the Invader. If the string spaces are a tad wider than the pole pieces, SD makes Trembucker versions of their pickups that are spaced for trem systems. It will line up in the neck postion however. If you need a TB version, just put the existing Invader in the neck. You will have axe hot enough to fry eggs on it!!🤘

    • @carsandguitars
      @carsandguitars  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Good question! Im not sure off the top of my head but there's definitely no issue with string spacing. Awesome tip though, thanks mate!

      @@carsandguitars there is no f spaced or trembucker invader the huge poles cover both spacings so an SH8 will be fine in a wider fender or narrower gibson bridge so it works in both. Seymour Duncan have only ever made the SH 8 no TB version like the JB or Distortion etc.

    Ahhhh the good ol invaders, such a cool video mate. Straight up in my opinion Wes is one of the most underated guitarists ever, him and John5. Great guitarists in not the greatest bands, nothing against Limp Bizkit or Rob Zombie etc, but not everyones taste. I love em but

    people like to say Bizkit sucks. Well, TECHNICALLY they're super solid and a well oiled well playing band.
    People say they suck simply because they don't like the music as a whole.
    No one can say Biizkit sucks for lack of talent. Borland's riffs are underrated and every guitarist is aware of this. The dude writes really weird off the wall style riffs often played weird as well. He is another EVH, Morello type person who kind of invented their own style of playing that is unlike anyone elses and is INSTANTLY recognizable.
    You can tell a Wes riff usually with one damn note.
    Also, Fred Durst plays a character I like to call Red hat Fred.
    I saw proof of this when I was a teen on a bootleg behind the scenes tape where fred was being totally different and turns out, that was the real him.
    How else do people think Wes, a dude who LOVES performance art, is friends with a dude who is like super bro fist? lol come on people

    • @carsandguitars
      @carsandguitars  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Couldn’t agree more mate! Very tight band with great musicians. I agree about dursts ‘character’ as well, gaits like him and corgan with a stage persona definitely get a bit of shit (unfairly) for it. 🤘🏼

    swap that cheap jackson branded floyd asap. they break incredibly easily. ive got a 2017 King V i modded. my first upgrade was the floyd because it crapped out on me mid gig on my second gig ever in 2018. theyre cheap pot metal, the knife edges will dull incredibly fast and the posts groove (bad explanations) easily
