excellent video .. I have just test run my 2.5 tdi VW Caravelle .. it fired up almost immediately .. ( the diesel had drained out of the pump from the dial gauge holder .)
I bought them from my local Volvo dealer with the rest of the parts, as for the numbers, it's best to order against your chassis number to ensure you get the right parts for your car, as there are variants. I think Volvo just refer to them as a 'screw' for the camshaft sprocket. Hope this helps.
Hy Diesel bricks, Thanks a million for your nice and so understandable videos multi parts. About this 6 part, I've a question : starting to the pulley 2:13 I need to replace this pulley because she sings a bit. Is it possible to do this replacement without to run the risk to have an issue with the belt ? Regards.
The tensioner pulley starts to sing. Can it be replace alone or have I to change the whole belt system ? Thanks votre your interest to my question. Cheers
Ideally you should replace everything, if one part is worn enough to make noise, consider how much life is left in the rest. That is unless you know it has all been replaced recently and you suspect that the tensioner is a faulty part.
All right : I will do so. All stuff timing belts date from 2014, march... It will be the occasion to take a new departure ! Thanks thanks a lot. Kind of blow
