- I was heading back to my car from an atheist rally and saw this street preacher and thought I would challenge him.

I think it's odd, annoying, and funny how some people usually religion believers or accommodationist unbelievers, get upset at me, or want to take issue with me, for "bothering" street preachers. Even, when they are out bothering everyone else, to begin with.
What they don't remember or choose to forget is when you bring your views to the public as is your free speech right, so to do others have a free speech right to challenge your offered beliefs. How can one not assume the Street Preachers who are out there willing to be bothered since they are so openly willing to bother other people themselves?

Most fat people know how a healthy diet looks like, but decide to eat unhealthy stuff. Most smokers know that smoking is unhealthy, but decide to keep smoking.
Losing weight and quitting smoking is very hard, because both are addictions. Losing weight is even harder. Want to quit smoking? Just don´t smoke anymore. That´s hard, but after a few weeks it gets easier. When you want to lose weight, you still have to eat, you can´t just stop eating.

No one is forcing you to do anything, all that is being done is trying to CONVINCE people to join their faith. "If I wanted to hear that crap I would go to church". The point of preaching is to preach and convert people that aren't of your faith, why would they try to convert people of their own faith at their church? No one is asking or forcing YOU to listen or be near the preacher. In your situation, if they're on your property just ask them to leave. If they're not on your property, I don't know what to do about that.

No, that comment I made was wrong, we were all wrong to make fun of God. We should be thankful of him for giving us a second chance even if we were bad to him. The universe was not created by itself, it needed something to be created. If there was someone that could create the universe, it would have to be God. If you ask God for forgiveness, and try to read the Bible more and more, you will have wisdom of what God's character actually is. You will feel God more and more like I do all the time.

It was sarcasm... Rightly so. There are 27 books in the new testament... only 4 are called the gospels. Furthermore, there was no Matthew, Mark, Luke or JOhn walking around with JEsus and recording everything that he said or did. The gospels are just stories passed down through generations for hundreds of year not eyewitness. of those 27 books in the New Testament, Paul is accredited for writing more than 14 are diretly attributed to Paul. That's the irony and why it can be called the gospel of Paul. You would not have much of a bible if you only read the 4 Gospel of Jesus books.
Furthermore, let's not get caught up in semantics. Saying the "Gospel according to Paul" is not difference than saying "The gospel according to Luke". Dude in the wheelchair just worded it differently, yet it is very accurate especially considering that the gospel means nothing more than the teachings of Christ.

God is a loving God but He also has His wrath. Not a careless wrath but a just wrath against sin. If we see God as only "love" without fear, then we wouldn't believe in His punishment, thus not believing in Hell. You can love, fear, and respect God all at the same time.
God does not need threats to draw people to Him. He is too pure for that. God loves unconditionally. He created us and understands everything about us. Which is why he would not send his own children/creation to a fiery place for eternity if they didn’t “obey”.

When a person fixes a car, the first gender that comes up is a man. God gave adam dominance and superiority over Eve.

Therefore I cannot condone religion, but those who choose to surrender their free time to a deity should at least know that their God is just that, THEIR God. They made him and they can keep him.
I actually disagree...I think it's healthy to seek the truth, so NO, it isn't that simple. If people go on believing a falsehood for all of human existence, I think that's a deterrent from human advancement. People will be better off knowing the truth rather than believing in something that isn't there. They'd be better off because once you can start to understand facts and evidence, it leads to the ability and drive to achieve more knowledge.

I’m gonna be completely unbiased here, even as a Christian. There’s no way to prove God is real, and there’s no way to prove he isn’t real. It really does depend on your faith and what you believe. And that goes for any religion. But it would make peoples lives a little easier to know more about their religion before they go in front of an atheist rally to defend it. For ANY religion, like I said. Respect both sides, everyone was calm, everyone has their own beliefs. No hate.

You're asserting it. I'd like something other than assertions. Not only that, but the physical universe, reason, and logic are fairly objective, wouldn't you agree? E.g. evaluating the law of non-contradiction isn't just subjective for the atheist.

No, I can't choose to believe. No more than I choose to believe I can fly. It isn't a choice in any simple sense.
Not only that, but many atheists don't believe 'nothing' created everything. I don't believe that, because I don't know what caused the Universe. Was it an event inside an eternal multiverse? Was it the 'Big Crunch' where a dying universe gives birth to a new one? Is it because without no time cause and effect breaks down (as it's necessarily temporal) and you get uncaused effects? Quantum mechanics may be the answer to that. Are we in a computer simulation constructed by a super race?

To fear God, as it says in the scriptures, is the word meaning to REVERE. When the world uses the word "fear," it has mostly negative connotations.
