As a Christian, I find that it’s a waste of time arguing online about it. Most people, if not all, who come down to the comment section to argue do not want their minds changed. This applies to Christians and atheists alike. I myself like to read the silly arguments made by both sides. I’m the type of guy who watches atheistic types of videos to better defend my faith. I hope anyone reading this realizes that arguing with people online is futile. Never have I once seen one side of argument change the other’s mind. And trust me I’ve read many debates in the comments across many videos. You see I think we mostly agree that these are ridiculous arguments, but those arguments (and other irrational or unconvincing arguments) are all the skeptical ever get from deists. I recognize that there are different views on the bible and religion in general- some more rational than others. But in the end believing in a magical being that exists outside of the physical world but cares who you have sex with is something I would say is irrational. In fact, believing in magical beings in general is pretty irrational.
I am not trying to antagonize you but (to me at least) it seems a little trite to say "These views on god are uninformed and ignorant of science, but mine are adequate and supported". Yes, some things like the acid comment show a lack of understanding of the principals in question, but what are the arguments or evidence that convinced you of your beliefs?

I am going to ignore fact you are using a hell of a lot of loaded words, such as "what is being sacrificed?" and "why do you hate someone?". Your argument can be dismissed on that alone.
I am going to assume you mean "why do atheist choose to sacrifice" when they only live once? That depends on what. Why should I sacrifice my life to try and save my child or my sisters child? Well because it is family. Why should I sacrifice myself to save someone else child? Simple, because my worth is in fact less then the child, they have a lot more opportunity to do good then me simply because I am older. Just because I only live once as an atheist does not mean I am a selfish asshole that only think of myself, I have more to gain by working with people then against them. Look up how you win in the Prisoners Dilemma when it is played several times with many people, cooperation always win while backstabbing hurt you in the end.
Why should you work with someone you hate if you only believe you live once? I got to ask the same to you? Why the hell should you? Doesn't the expression "kill them all and let God sort them out"? As an atheist I value life because I know I only live once and so do you, death is final and I should not try to shorten it for myself or other people. That is why negotiation and working problems out is preferable to killing each other. Theists on the other hand only have to care if they will be judged by God correctly and if they kill people they hate that doesn't matter.
Religion got in no way any monopoly on valuing life or anything that is nice. Bad people will do bad things with or without religion, good people will do good things with or without religion. But for good people to do bad things thinking they work for good, that needs religion.

As a Christian, I find that it’s a waste of time arguing online about it. Most people, if not all, who come down to the comment section to argue do not want their minds changed. This applies to Christians and atheists alike. I myself like to read the silly arguments made by both sides. I’m the type of guy who watches atheistic types of videos to better defend my faith. I hope anyone reading this realizes that arguing with people online is futile. Never have I once seen one side of argument change the other’s mind. And trust me I’ve read many debates in the comments across many videos. So if you’re coming here to the comments looking for a fight, no matter what your beliefs, you might want to rethink that decision.

You are just somebody who is stuck in there ways and isnt willing to change your mind there is really no such thing as an atheist video because there is no such thing as an atheist , which god is it they don't believe in. your going to believe in Christianity I'm guessing because you didn't say jewish or catholic and atheist alike, no matter how good somebody's facts and arguments are and defend your faith most likely only listening enough to quote some scripture they don't believe in to make yourself feel better. Alot of Atheist tend to have a pretty open mind because they aren't stuck with one set of beliefs and alot of people from various religons are open minded its not as common and you dont seem to be one of those people but they exist. Arguing on here isn't futile its not the best place to choose for a debate, but at the end of the day you can't find out your wrong about something unless somebody tells you and your not going to hear that from a church or a group of friends that think the same way you do.

I really hope real Christians did not say things that are soooooooooooo dumb. I am an atheist and I have friends and family members who are religious and I am fine with anyone believing whatever they want, and I think it would be better if we never found out what the real truth is
OSIRIS REZREKTD I be sharing your experience, i just wish people would stop believing that they are "right" or that they know the "truth", i don't specify who, because many do so, on all sorts of different things, whether religion or on "who ruined the lunch order". this is what i believe to be the source for unnecessary conflict between people, and necessary conflict would be the typical war for good land to grow crops to feed our families.

If you know theese type of people, sometimes its for the best just to not debate with them. Some people are just more comfortable having their heads fixed in the ground and hold their believes rather than to accept the truth. It's the best for you and for them. These guys are atheists making a point. Yes, this video is fake, the guys are ACTING, but, sadly, the comments they are reading aloud are very, very real.
