I was hoping for good news on the mustang. You might want to flush your engine cooling system just before installing the new radiator. If the coolant is contaminated in the engine cooling system then you may as well stop right there. Did you notice any coolant (not plain water)in the oil when you drained it? My thoughts are, it was in an accident, radiator cracked and leaked coolant Depressurizing the radiator. It was driven until the engine overheated and then the radiator was filled with plain water. Since the engine was overheated, the cold water slammed into the block and cracked it. The radiator recovery system will not function because it relies on the system to be sealed to create vacuum and pressure.

I have a question how much money do you make because I’m doing a class project on where I wanna go in life and I’m trying to see the rough estimate how much I would make
I am with you on trying to bring something back to life, BUT oil and water is the main issue if water is in the oil then there is a major problem. Maybe the thermostat went first, then the accident (radiator hole/crack) but all the time there was probably the head gasket leak lurking in the background; which I am sure is the main issue.
i personally think it was a bad buy. hi uber man, i was the guy who wanted to sell u an 05 durango back in october. i just picked up a 1999 cobra for 900$ on offerup. 171k everything operates correctly and im having a hell of time trying to get 1500$ for it. only cons are cracked windshield and dinged driver door and small exhaust leak. I love that car. But from a financial standpoint I would bolt what you got back together and send it back across the auction block. Now that you have the title sorted and it's running it should bring you a little profit. Maybe Ebay.
Go to autozone and “loan” their block tester. You have to buy the liquid but it’ll test for combustion gasses through the cooling system. If it passes the head is good if it fails then you know what you need to do.

Hey if anyone else hasn’t noticed this car is not bone stock , Most definitely the cam has been swapped sounds like it has a B303 in it. Nice vids bro keep doing your thing
Tsuki san No disrespect but I’m 47 and all my driving life I’ve owned 5.0 mustangs and no mustang comes from the factory with a mild mustang they all have a steady idle unless you change the cam and then and only then will you get that famous lopey idle or choppy sound. So again I didn’t mean any offense but I think I would know about mustangs and a aftermarket cam when it’s been changed
@@Nandoxcelz I am sorry to disagree with you but I bought a new '94 GT stick and the engine loped and was impossible to drive in traffic. The Ford dealers told me it was because of the new mild cam that was installed at the factory. I quickly sold that car and enjoyed driving my '94 Z-28, which was a much better car all around. I am not sure if you bought one new or have experience with them after they had been in the wild, but my information is from my experience and what the Ford dealer told me at the time.
Nandito 973, one more thing. I bought my car just as soon as they came out. Maybe they fixed that loping problem with later models, but mine sure did have it.
Should be able to find used headlights for $50....radiator would be cheap troubleshooting too. That’s the point I would decide whether to continue or put it back through the auction.
Fix if radiator swap proves engine good. Cheap slide hammer will pull fenders and a bit of paint. Core panel will propably want pulling out. Worth getting lights even if you don't do anything else as it makes it look complete. Good luck.
Well Randy if you had a radiator tester you could plug the bottom radiator hose, fill the block with water, then cut he radiator neck off the radiator and attach it to the upper radiator hose. then pump it up to 15psi to see if you had an internal engine leak. Saves you from buying a radiator and going that much farther in debt right away. (Aren't you tired of all our suggestions?) Sorry, but the whole time I was watching I was thinking of a way to test the engine for leaks without purchasing a radiator that you may not use. A pressure tester you can use over and over again.
I still think the water in the crank was condensation. But if you put a radiator in it and it is a blown gasket, then you send it to auction, everyone will see the motor is bad and it won't bring much more $. It would bring more with the bad radiator and no coolant in the oil...
Id do headlights, radiator bend what you got back into shape the best you can and post it up at the lot for 3.5, let someone talk you down to 3. I think you can be in this for a little less than 2k and make about 1k profit.
I know you won't do it, you're too good a man, but if the block/heads are cracked, some guys would just drain the water out, put in fresh oil, and run it back thru the auction as "Run and Drive"

If you introduce fire damage maybe Tavarish will get interested in putting it into his fleet? lol. Great video, thanks for posting! Best wishes and Peace out!
Mustangs just arnt a seller anymore i suppose. i think u should restore it meaning turn it into a daily and sell it to either make profit or break even. i learned my car hustle from you tbh.
If you are removing the radiator, why dont you remove the radiator support and hammer it back to the proper shape
Hi I want to ask you about my 4x4 Land Rover of 2000 and ai have disabled my 4x4 and it is going only with front tires I was thinking but it was snowing and just one tier was spinning the other no. what maybe costing this plz respond
Couldn’t you just plastic weld the radiator instead of replacing it. It would make sense to buy a used oem one but you could give it a shot?
Hey if anyone else hasn’t noticed this car is not bone stock , Most definitely the cam has been swapped sounds like it has a B303 in it. Nice vids bro keep doing your thing
Nandito 973 The car had a mild cam from the factor. That made it impossible to drive it in traffic.
Lets get parts ,and go
Should be able to find used headlights for $50....radiator would be cheap troubleshooting too. That’s the point I would decide whether to continue or put it back through the auction.
Check the engine air intake or air filter for water intrusion under the fender.
Fix if radiator swap proves engine good. Cheap slide hammer will pull fenders and a bit of paint. Core panel will propably want pulling out. Worth getting lights even if you don't do anything else as it makes it look complete. Good luck.
Does odometer work? If yes, then mileage should be true.
Still do a second oil change with a warm hot engine to ensure all the water is out
Depends on if you want to keep it for personal use
i wonder which cam is in it ................its diffently not stock
I still think the water in the crank was condensation. But if you put a radiator in it and it is a blown gasket, then you send it to auction, everyone will see the motor is bad and it won't bring much more $. It would bring more with the bad radiator and no coolant in the oil...
Id do headlights, radiator bend what you got back into shape the best you can and post it up at the lot for 3.5, let someone talk you down to 3. I think you can be in this for a little less than 2k and make about 1k profit.
When they shut the car off from the kill box the people got mad and filled it with water before the dealership towed it
I know you won't do it, you're too good a man, but if the block/heads are cracked, some guys would just drain the water out, put in fresh oil, and run it back thru the auction as "Run and Drive"
